Hello all, sorry it's been slow for this W2HE Case update, now comes the 3rd and final prototype revision in aluminium/brass.

Short version:
Long term testing completed with Rev 2.0 case. Changes: Underside is now smooth, no cable canals. Weight will increase slightly, 1-2 rear USB-C sockets set in brass (pictured) in center of the board, number depending on configuration/volume control knob. Added SKUF. ~2 weeks until final prototype will be sent to Wooting for testing.

Long version:
Long term testing and set-up, movement, feel of the 2nd prototype case has been performed now, a few small corrections and changes will be made in production for revision 3 (final), including;
Slight fit adjustment on top plate edge, a minor g-code error with two corners, removed canals, one or dual USB-C receptacles set in brass center plate, SKUF feet and added brass protection. In addition, a finishing machine pass on bottom surface - previously, we left it as the mill surface which is very unusual to see and cool in it's own way.

Expecting ~2 weeks until final drawings and final prototype. Then send to Wooting, if approval then full steam ahead. Cheers!

Finally took the time to put in the PC plate and the poron foam. Also put some premium keycaps on it just because i can 😛 Case is the Tofu 60 Redux. Keyboard still sounds like shit compared to my custom Zoom TKL which is a marbly monster but yeah that is a terrible comparison i guess 🙂 i have foam and a tape mod on the PCB. I didn't lube the switches. So i could fix that in the future. But this is a gaming board so i wanna keep it FAST 🙂

the "dual rail" part is the important bit, the other KS-20 (other than Jades/KS-20T) are essentially the same first gen design as the lekkers.

has anybody tried changing the springs in in the lekker switches? i have a keyboard with prevail epsilons which have springs which have a spring that increases in pressure as the switch travels and i wanted to try doing something similar with the lekker switches
