This is because what you are buying is the 60HE module's PC plate and the foam to match.

And the Module PCB required a slight redesign of the foam placement.

You can reuse the existing foam if you'd prefer

Your "low profile" keycaps are going to sit like the head of a mushroom on top of the stem.

I think because the stem connects to the top of the key, they will all sit roughly even to eachother, the additional height just sinks into the keyboard

The difference is in the sculpting, either you get curved like OEM or Cherry or flat like DSA or XDA

It has to be otherwise it wouldn't have the height difference needed to create the sloping

they are 200 bucks and run 6-8gb/sec with TLC so high reliability cycle count, hard to beat for the price

Yeah the only way the durometer would make a significant difference is if you modify the PCB for a proper gummy O ring mount. The difference would likely be negligible in a friction mounted setup.

@crimson sky @pale aspen testing fit. MInor issue on top cover at front and a few screws I will adjust 1mm/0.5mm here and there for perfect alignment. Heavier than stock already haha! The adjustable feet are far grippier than stock rubber. In fact, I don't even have the front ones installed, just rear and it's more planted than stock. The sound is bit more muted too less higher frequency. Has stock poron and stock USB-C plug wire too.
Hopefully tomorrow our 3 axis is free and we can mill the real deal, if not, Monday.
