Hello guys, I got some false input (some keys would just double detect or release even though I held them them fully pressed down) on my wooting over the last months and today I decided to disassemble it. It seems that my plate is slightly bend. Does anyone have a trick to get it straight again? (I don't wanna RMA it, because it's my daily driver and well I've dissassembled it already🤷‍♂️ )

Also thought about ordering the PC Plate but I don't know if that woudl fix my problem cuz the plate is pretty flexible

Keycaps do effect sound, but for the most part it's based on the profile and material, clones will not be that different as long as they are double shot pbt

If you are looking for thock you are going to want a PC plate with foam between the PCB and plate as well as some good case foam

Keycaps that have the most thock is double shot pbt in the SA profile (this is a very high profile and it is not for everyone)

You can get other keycaps sounding thocky but you will need to play with the case foam that you are using

It's just that the PC plate that the Module ISO uses, won't work on a regular 60HE. One of the standoffs near the enter key has nowhere to screw into.

What do you mean by PE foam? Are you talking plate foam, case foam or switch pads?

a thin layer (between 0.5 - 1 mm ) of Pe foam betwin the Pcb and the switches. It became a famous mod cuz it was the secret sauce for the sound of the Jelly Epoch.

If you get the same thickness foam you wont have any sensor/switch issues.
