Using C on both ends does nothing to help with Tachyon/100% Brightness in of itself. Same power delivery and so on. Literally just means you're using C on both ends.

You still have to go by the rule of thumb - Keep the cable below 6ft/1.8m or thereabouts, and don't cheap out on brandless cables.

I believe I emailed/messaged support about it (on website) but I am having trouble locating my message and or conversation. But 100% brightness on any single rgb color still has a small issue I'm talking 255 0 0, etc. But 255 255 255 has it the worst with the space bar being able to actuate 40x a second when I just hold the key...

If just reducing/turning off the LED brightness fixes the repeated input issue, then that does point towards it being a cable issue.

It's how it was designed. So that's what the plates are tooled for.

It -IS- at least theoretically possible to fabricate and make a new plate that is say... gasket mounted. A few folks have done this. But this is entirely DIY territory.

Yes quit a big one actually ive posted a comaprison before (which im searching for rn). Doubleshot shine though keycap will sound much worse than regular PBT keycaps for example. In generl Shine through Caps sound pretty bad IMO

Here another quick comparison had to steal some keycaps from my bother. Gmk, cheaper pbt doubleshot, pbt doubleshit shinethrough (pudding) (recorded on iPhone 13)

the issue with Shinethrough keycaps is that they are in many of the cases very thin which gives them a hollower more claky sound. The pudding keycap used here is a Steelseries Prism cap which are 1.2-3mm thick while most decent pbt caps are 1.5mm or above and this greatly changes the sound. But people buy shinethrough not for a good sound so this really doesnt matter i guess

Love the Wooting 60HE - got it a few weeks ago. I'm using it a bit different than most, while I do play some Diablo 4 occasionally, I mostly use it on my Mac for productivity (you'd be amazed how many cool things you can set up for Photoshop with Advanced Keys). With that said, I was looking for some Mac keycaps - especially Command and Option keys to replace the Control and Alt keys. I simply can't find anything nice looking - all those I found on Amazon didn't really look nice. Anyone has any advice?

You'd want both ideally.

brass is a lot denser then foam and thus will absorbe a bit of sound. But it will 97% be negligible and just add more heft to the board

Brass adds weight. Having a metal case in general produces a more metalling pingy noise when typing. The foam is there to dampen.

This pour is pure concrete. I also used the concrete adhesive to mix in with the water to strengthen it, but you are right in that it is brittle and can crack. Next I want to try a fiberglass mesh for the structure as well as add propylene fibers into the mix 👍

Yep. Gotta have the option for a strap. It will have rubber feet that you push in from below (or don't if you want a lower angle)

And the accent piece, which is optional? and easy to swap out for a different colour or to mod/paint.

I got my 60he mid-late last year and used it for awhile but couldnt deal with the higher actuation force, I am inexperiencced and didnt want to swap the springs and stuff, so you guys releasing 45g switches is so perfect for me

Honestly swapping the springs isn’t hard to do at all, it might take a minute or two to get used to opening the switches and working out how to put them back together

Don’t let the fact that your are inexperienced put you off swapping springs, if you want to get the 45g switches then do it but don’t do it

Swapping springs isn't a thing anymore.

I mean you CAN, but it would be rather silly to open up your existing switches, as well as the replacement ones and moving springs over. You already have the switches with the different spring.
