yeah, pretty much. I'm still pretty new to this. I have everything I need to lube the switches, I even did a couple but I'm trying to figure out how I should be going about it in a way I'm happy with before going and doing them all.

I'm using the Mekanisk dampening foam underneath the PCB instead of the Wooting one as well though. Not sure if it makes much of a difference.

I wouldn't say it's really high or in any way uncomfortable to type on. The only downside I've noticed is that I seem to have a habit of moving my keyboard around my desk a little bit every now and then - and this thing is very heavy.

Klippe or Fjell are the most suggested for quality and PSD60 for price. A lot of us are waiting for the Path60 (official wooting aluminum case) to be officially released soon.

Polycarbonate build complete. Turned out very different than the aluminum build but there are quite a few differences beyond the case:
Aluminum Build - Sentraq60 case, gummy o-ring friction fit mount, steel plate, switches lubed, polyfill dampening, PBT keycaps
PC Build - Sirius60 case, top mount, aluminum plate, switches lubed and filmed, foam dampening, ABS keycaps

My conclusion is that I like them both. Two very different sounds even though it's somewhat hard to tell in the videos due it being recorded on a potato web cam microphone. The aluminum case is significantly more clacky and truer to the lekker sound while the PC build is much more muted.

yo yo yo. I got the spacebar in both versions. They sounded pretty much the same for me. My stock wooting spacebar might be a little quieter even, and I'm using that still, lol. So the spacebars are just chillin.

As someone said earlier, you prob need to lube the actual stabilizers (but i'm 2 lazy to open the board up) and you need silent switches as well to get it super quiet.

Ultimately depends on the look you're going for. ABS keycaps are a lot easier find with interesting colours and designs.

Well this is unfortunate. The gasket maker on the bottom of the stem in my left control came off on one side lol. So half the switch is thuddy and half is clacky

The Mekanisk stuff is at the top of the list for quality (weight and finish) but you can look on aliexpress and find quite a few cases if you just want something middle of the range. Do a search for Tofu60 and a ton of options should come up. You can check the modding FAQ for compatibility on some of them but look for DZ60/GH60

Well, if you want to used a 10ft coiled cable, your best bet would still be direct connecting it

Just make sure it's thicc enough to provide proper power

And then just don't use RGB over 50% I think and there should be no issue

@tall hollow it makes no sense to me that the coiled cables are having issue's with power/voltage drop. Is there any documentation on why this could be? Since if it draws max. 1A You should be able to get it to work almost 100% of the time, up to 4 meters, no?

a good mod is to use car dampener pad and stick it under the space bar, it kills the rattle or hollowness, used the mod on my space bar

With putty do I need to be careful about the weight so as to avoid triggering the key or does it make more sense to increase the actuation value? ATM I use .1 for all keys
