The pop was from the breaker beneath my room, they keep the switches in the garage

if you have judder from non consisten frame pacing that's not shader cache related

AMD: Utilizes a "Pipeline Caching" system that also caches shaders but may handle updates differently.

you could check the mobo specs they show which usb ports belong to which usb hub but generally you have like 2 different ones on the backside that are direcyl connected to the cpu so you want high polling devices in the back but on different hubs
