the only evs with actually dying batteries are the roadster, and its not the original roadster battery that is dying, its the replacement pack that has a known defect
the rest have some degradation, however the age of the pack is irrelevant, its just wear, and if you put half a million miles on the battery itll be somewhat worn out (but in 90% of cases still working)
