I have a new(ish) setup with a nvidia gpu (4070), even though a lot of distros use the same drivers, I've had many issues like any fedora distro (including bazzite, and nobara) suddenly destroying itself after I try purging firefox or even trying to change my wallpaper. Of all distros I've tried, CachyOS, Debian, etc, the most stable and best I've experienced is Ubuntu 25.10

I am of course a linux noob but I've distro hopped several times and I keep running into issues where my install just nukes itself like I have a curse and Ubuntu 25.10 was the only one that hasn't bricked on me yet
