Tech 2 huh
So much discussion about various PC accessories like mice, headphones and mousepads, that it felt like it was time to give them a place to hang out containment channel
so its geared towards a different audience ey?
🐹
@rich python a soundcard is even more expensive no ?
@hollow harbor
I wouldn’t buy a Focusrite if you’re planning to use it with a gaming PC. The audio drivers for Windows are garbage.
There’s long standing issues where the sound just goes very static and robotic after an hour.
Also something I learnt from experience.
Yeah thats more expensive my friend @rich python
Ah lucky I djdnt buy 1 then
im looking for the best gaming mice for fortnite

Superlight enjoyers, UNITE!!!!!!
There are dozens of us
nice unsanitized link
HEY GUYS IS THE BASILISK V35 ULTRARGB EDITION GOOD MOUSE FORTNITE
Sure
I had this for years
Eventually broke, I regret not trying to repair it.
But it's kinda pointless for general use tbh
@hollow harbor just get an apple usb c dongle

Oo exciting
Haha I have the shure adapter already, its working great. Thanks
I have a superlight g pro that feels good in the hand but my everyday driver is a G903 getting my zowie mouse today so that might change
whats the best settings for fornite?
Idk i only strictly play siege
Don't you fucking dare
@hazy fiber get ready for things to get super fast with that glass pad lol
Raiden arrives today
Won't be as fast as glass, but I've been using my zero for the last few months
Cant wait to compare Raiden to my glass pad
I expect it to have raiden ish speed, Hana is control glasspad with very smooth surface. Will see today I guess👀
Well it’s not modding channel but it’s honest work around these parts
This plane needs to hurry tf up with my beastx though
Id pay extra to load that shit on an f16
😭
There’s like 0 dynamic friction to it so it won’t feel like anything you’re used to
Hoping raidens dynamic friction is gonna feel really nice on val
That being said unrivaled smoothness
So long as i keep my tension in control it should feel soooo nice
If you use jades there won’t be any, but should feel speedy still
Using some old ass stock beastx skates rn
On my lamzu
Gonna have new stock skates when the max arrives
I’d recommend Tiger ices if you want speed still but not jades
IMO
Shafie used it for a while on mid
I liked it until I didn’t and became an obsidian main
I use super glides
@wispy blaze btw let me know if you feel scratchiness when you push your mouse in the pad, I felt it on my raiden mid, it was bothering me at first but then got used to it
Superglides are nice since they feel decent on pretty much any surface you put them on. Heck, you can put them straight onto your table and they will still feel great.
This is just gonna happen if you use dots
Nah, it happens with every skate
I think because mid raiden is so thin
I only ever noticed it on my zero xsoft if I used dots and pushed in
i might switch to glass pad
but then should i switch to low dpi?
Or do glass pads have decent control on them
Some are very fast (SP004), and others are balanced/control oriented (Kazemi/hana) you can also get other pads that are balanced/control without artwork if you want, but I’d try looking for that
I’m still using 1600 dpi with kazemi, but your choice of skates would matter more than dpi imo
i see
im so use to cloth pads and theyre comfortable but i do wanna test other stuff out
There’s a new anime artwork pad coming out of glasswrks if you’re interested
im just worried with glass pads i'll be missing all my shots lol
It’s an adjustment period I’d say
I like purple too so I’m interested
No
Sp004 is by wallhack I believe and is plain looking
The Black SP-004 (SkyPAD 004) Glass Mouse Pad provides an unparalleled glass surface designed for high accuracy tracking, combined with a 60A silicone base for a full footprint grip. The silicate glass is micro-etched for a unique surface experience and heat treated at 680° Celsius to achieve the same structure and durability of tempered auto g...
oh i see mb
It’s supposed to be stupid fast
so this pad is more balance or
Unironically me rn
Not sure yet
Just teasers so far
i would need to get an arm sleeve for the pad no?
i heard glass is kinda uncomfortable
Bands said his doesn’t forget what his is, but wouldn’t hurt to get one
You get better glide movement with one tho
i see i see
and this will make me a fortnite pro?
||(sorry i couldnt resist)||
Not supposed, it is
Even with the most controlled dots skates
Thing was stupid fast
But really fun
And like 99% consistent

Anyone iem enjoyers here?
Haters and enjoyers
what are best settings for fortnite guys i run 23 fps
i got a sp-004 and im gliding also with no sleeve
can confirm, using it to make my mouse feels lighter
Yup
smoothest thing on earth, you literally feel nothing when you move your mouse
Hana supremacy
They make a model with anime men too so you're good
What skates you use?
IM IN
Right now obsidian reds, but will swap them out to cyclones/obsidian airs
what if i wanna feel her touch?
Yeah idk even with obs pro airs I couldn’t get enough control to main the glass. Guess that’s my fault for using it on Val at the time lol
The best thing about it is that its not super fast like other glasspads and its HELLA smooth
My Cyclones could arrive tomorrow👀
I’m trying glass on val
I use it only when playing neon
I was about the same. Only issue is any little movement gg
Goku im done with you
This Guy
😭😭😭😭😭
Then again I tried a 004 so maybe I go with something different this time
pc gaming is lonely
Hahahahahahaha
Yea, I bought hana because its not super fast and surprisingly my aim is better now lol, in terms of speed its a bit faster than raiden imo
I overflick on it lmao
Time to balance Hana posting with Kazemi 🌹
nobody talks in game chat unless its val
Same
Is Hana the slowest?
But then I lower my sens and then I can’t flick fast enough
Give it 1-2 Weeks ur Aim will be even better
That’s the game
And raw accel feels weird on val
Glass is fun to use 🌹
Hana is controlled glasspad but its still very fast compared to other cloth pads
Nah like controlled glass. What’s the most controlled? I’m just not sure if it’s Hana still
I have no idea actually, with obsidian air pros hana is the slowest i think
@mighty tiger I felt like my Sense isnt the perfect for me. I did use the Sensefinder in the Oblivity App, did 300 Runs on different Scenarios and it gave me my perfect sense i use in every Game now and its def my perfect sense
I use different sens depending on if I’m playing rivals or val
I was very inconsistent and sometimes felt like mhm a bit faster would be good
You should not do that tho
Or a specific agent or hero
Having the same sens for muscle memory is a myth
Plus it doesn’t make sense, why would my tracking sens be the same sens I flick on
Or when I need to consistently do large movements
And have a slow sens
Singularity looks interesting
What's ur sens?
Gotcha
Tekkusai?
Yeah
0.15 1600dpi
Ye if you can get it and can’t afford the best of the best glass pads then get that
I'm on 0.135 atm
Nah bro you talkin some bs
It’s def mainable
I can afford it. I’ve bought four 004 so far. I just want to try a balanced one this time
Lmao
There’s plenty of aim pros and valorant pros who change sens consistently
What skates u using Ethan?
Singularity is mainable but no my favourite

Oh shi me too
8??
I used 5 and thought it felt too rough?
If rough is the right word
I mean they got a Range i kno that but for me using 1 Sense where im the most consistent in every Aim Type did improve everything for me
I main an artisan soft
I use 4 dots on my mouse
But ig its personal preference how you actual profit from
Just to prevent any sinking I use 8
Kin X I might get actually
We've all heard it before, stick to one sensitivity to get good aim and if you change it you'll ruin your muscle memory. If this is true though, how can the best players change their sens all the time and still aim well?
The game I'm playing at a few points that isn't valorant or apex is called the finals, its free on steam and rly fun c:
To r...
There’s another vid on it but it’s basically plagiarized it from viscose
I be going from 0.08-0.175 most of the time
Yeah i saw that one, but for me changing the sens ruins everything even if its only a mental thing
I just dont feel good when i change my sens
And using that 1 Sens in every Game feels pretty good
If I’m playing bad I placebo myself into changing smth
Usually my sens to a higher one
Like 0.21
Or 0.325
Yeah its a Mindset thing def i just change Crosshair and sit different to lock tf in
I play 800 0.181 in Val
I play 1600 0.15-0325
I was on 800 0.14 before i did the Sensefinder
Anyone here know much about iems or headphones?
I'm going to petition to rename this channel to mod-discussion2
Yey
Crunch_modding
wtf is this
Peripheral Modding channel 🌹
$10 for sensfinder 🤔
i did it in under 2h and refund it lol
it takes you like 90 minutes for 300 30s runs
A little bit of rest and chill between you can easy do it under 2h
Always knew you were a scammer
/s
Looks about right for a glass pad lol

it will be slower when i swap skates
What are you swapping to?
will try two dot skates, obsidian airs and cyclones
Could also try UHMW-PE skates if it's still too fast
speed is very nice now, its not very fast. similar to raiden imo
Ah, so it's not horribly fast like a Razer Atlas or a Skypad
With a light mouse speed pads are actually really enjoyable to use, but if you use a kinda heavy mouse then they feel kinda weird.
At least to me
i use beastx, its 39g
Ah
Cyclones kind of feel like smoother tiger ices 👀
If that’s something you’re into for Hana
Obsidians were slower but still felt nice
Right now red obsidian full size skates feel nice ngl
dots will feel even nicer pretty sure
Use as keeb pad or the ghosts of artisan past will haunt you
I still remember the Artisan France incident
What did the fr*nch do
@abstract warren sometimes i feel dust because of full size skates
Apparently one person that ordered an artisan pad tried to RMA a super messed up artisan pad and then after that they just straight up stopped selling to France entirely.
dots >
wtf
Lmaoo I remember one kid in the artisan discord was remorseful for his friend tryna scam artisan @hazy fiber you remember that guy
He was asking if artisan was gonna do something and then his friend was like “lol what are they gonna do”
I dont remember that lol
Was a few months ago
I use beast X max
kids do that all the time. When i was young and working in retail electronics I had kids come up and try to return their completely busted logitech mouse and say it just didn't work. they just hope whoever is doing it doesn't check the box carefully
Lol
I get it if ur tryna pull one on a big company like amazon but retail electronics is wild
lol
Even then, Amazon checks occasionally as well to make sure that you aren't committing literal fraud.
Part of me wants to swap Raiden soft for mid just bc daidai orange next to kazemi looks so jarring 🤣
thats one long shot of a claim
The Japanese take their crafts very seriously.
I think it's mostly a cultural thing
Yeah but I’m just saying like if ur tryna make a buck scam amazon no t your retail electronics shop
They have trillions
idk how thats related to a french person apparently not noticing for a month that the mousepad they got has dirt from the factory all over it
Factual
i have no reason to believe support would make a bogus claim given ive seen the support side first hand
theres some weird people out there
It's also ridiculous to stop selling to an entire country
Over a few dumbasses
Yeah it really doesn't, but if that's what they want to do then so be it, it's their business.
It reminds me of that laptop company that'd block entire countries
it doesn’t really reflect well on their business tbh. don’t see how it’s worth it.
I don’t think they even have to comply if someone wants to return a product.
that’s just for eu companies iirc
14-30day return period.
id imagine it wasnt just a few
Still, blocking an entire country over it?
Absolutely moronic
the artisan pad mafia of france 🔥
i mean if you spend more time on support than orders from the country net you then i can easily see why youd block it
I mean what country does wooting spend most of its support time on lol
i know at some point i think the philippines didnt have a shipping options at our stores cause of "missing packages" happening there quite a lot ¯_(ツ)_/¯
surely all the people emailing them about why they don’t ship to france are less than the rotten apples.
surely
wrong.
they do have to comply.
🤷♂️
depends on where the company is from
wrong. they don’t. he already had it over a month. 🤷♂️
jp
then whatever the local rules are apply
In the EU, everyone has a 14 day period in which they can return an item, no questions asked. even if the item is purchased from a company outside of the EU.
Technically they could just not comply tho
right.
Which they most likely will
not sure if that’s a better idea
As they're not based in the EU and you can't really force any judgement to be applied
Lol
Even if you "win"
Good luck getting it to do anything
Unless the company has an actual presence in the EU
Like genuinely you have no "rights" regarding this stuff
You're just lucky if they follow eu regulation
Eapecially with a smaller company like this
with a smaller company, sure
bigger company absolutely not, it’s not worth the risk
By bigger we mean multimillion $ company who could be sued if a problem affects multiple consumers
ye
But also technically they're in violation of eu law since they're clearly discriminating based on nationality and not based on anything else
Especially with that support email
😂😭😭
I mean it's true lol
Especially with an unprofessional response like that
They should have just replied with "we are not shipping to france anymore due to unforeseen circumstances"
Lol
artisan collectively punishing the french for scamming them 😭
true
or say "we don't serve froggies"
Hi debdeb
both
so medium working
Xd
very good
Now
me no understand why theres a tech 2 channel
what's the best fortnite mouse
They need to be contained to general 🥀
This is real man setup
BWAHAHAHA
Life before Hana
@hazy fiber @abstract warren 👀 👀 👀
if you're not running glass you're trolling @wispy blaze
based
bro already folded his raiden in half
zero xsoft as keyboard mat with raiden soft as main 👌
50 years bad luck if you dont use raiden as keeb pad
😭
skull emoji
@abstract warren 👀
still red obsidians btw
it will be quieter with cyclones
it feels super smooth lol, even smoother than raiden
idk why i read without lol
🌹
Glass?
what is thiss
containment area
Yeah
is the Hana really that slow or is it the skates?
Its not that slow
but yeah, compared to other glasspads its slow and so smooth
W glasspad
Its faster than my raiden
and smoother
the only thing i have to compare my glass with is a 3xl glorious deskpad xd
which glasspad
i had to choose between Hana or Empress and went with Empress cause Hana was $70 more before taxes and shipping
same
Waiting for cyclone skates
@hazy fiber mine just arrived
bro glide is crazy
Bro its like not even having something in Hand
Soon… my edition xs’s
hahahaha
You ruined it
My eyes can’t
Do you even got Eyes when you cannot close them
I just realized how loud my Obsidian Air Pros are wtf
i cant believe how smooth cyclones are wth
and i was playing 4 months on obsidian air pros
lmaaaaaaaaaao
pc gear
general
Terrible
I love it
Barely got to play with it last night because I got home late from work
Probably not gonna use it much until weekend
But it feels so good
oled
Yes
Yes
no
Yes
Yez comrädë, hope u have been vell
me using a g502 with an oled for 5% of games
I knew Varedis is a drug addict
Bros out here guessing races and recreational activities, you really are jakubix’s alt account after all
????????
????????
ips is all you need (from a g502 user)
Above 60 fps IPs
I guess...
still on my good old 60hz monitor, still can play rhythm game that challenges human limit
Quemstiom - what are nowadays good wired earbuds (not in-ears)?
FiiO FF3S are decent from what I've heard
Sharing for a r/l friend who has some bills to pay. Can't vouch for the quality or price as I don't know jack about headphones. But if anyone is interested please DM me and I'll get you in touch. I personally vouch for the seller!
He said they have 40 hours of use on them
hope your friend is okay
Edited out medical lol, he is fine, just has to pay old ones.
If only I had money right now
Though I assume shipping US -> EU wouldn't be that cheap either
125€
Is there something good-ish for like ~50?
Hello pc gear ppl
Brought my 3k 120Hz 16" OLED display for while im in europe
UCOLOR O2 I think it was
smol, but nice
rn using my Meze Audio Albas to just listen to some stuff on my phone and game on ROMs on the plane
gets the job done
the IEMs are pretty awesome though
i guess its official i bought my first glass pad and its miku

also

Another one
wallhack is sending you the pad, so
I assume it is, might need to wait for your order tho
@hazy fiber now you can upgrade your 80HE case 🫦
My setup, except that's more white. very noice
@hazy fiber wot do yo think, should i wait holy80 or buy mikumiku glasspad?
none
Depends how badly you want the art imo
Idk, just for content
Tempered beast x pro + mikumiku will be look clean ig
Ye, is think
And with the new miku pad time to order a Beast X Max
Nyoooo, my Mikuuuu
Or i’ll just buy this one scyrox mousepad
But first of all i need look reviews on it
Is Beast X like Wooting in Keyboard Game but for Mouse?
no
What would you say is like Wooting in Mouse Game
i never saw so many Options on a Mouse in a Software tho
dont think there is one
cuz no one really innovated in the space
stuff just getting cheaper
What you Guys think would be some innovation for a Mouse?
if i would know i wouldnt tell you :D
specialisation of shape and skeletonisation of shapes to lighten significantly, that trend continuing
we've come a long way in a short while
to think mouse companies not too long ago made mice with adjustable weights
so you could make your mouse more heavy
and resorting to similar egg type shapes that only work for palm grips for most people
Would it be possible to get something like HE in a Mouse or how is the technology in a Mouse atm? Could it be faster?
I mean i asked a Question and if it would be possible to have a Magnetic Technology in a Mouse that maybe also improves lifetime of clicks
i dont know if clicks and latency on a mouse are alr at max
Optical switches exist
You wont have double clicks ever
There isn't
There is like 0 crazy improvements to be made in mice
Literally everything is up to preference now when it comes to what mouse you should choose
Yeah but could HE be in a Mouse
Theoretically yeah but it would be kinda pointless
So Optical Switches are the „best?“ and there will be prob nothing better?
For the time being yeah ig
Just thought about it cause Wooting came with HE Keyboard and than drops HE Mouse too with some cool other functions (idk what)
I'm sure eventually something may happen but who knows how long it'll be until it does
I mean except Shape Stuff ofc thats all personal, i mean in clicks innovation, latency, battery lifetime always can be better even if its good atm too
Latency is already down to a few hundred microseconds
Like we already have a humanly impossible latency difference between mice
Battery lifetime is the only real innovation
Yeah
lol
We need wootings firmware/software tho, like my beastx pro has bugged polling rate and they cant release firmware for it for like two months
I see, i mean lets see what happens in the future tho
unlucky
Bro is still forced into max performance mode 😭
lol, they told me that firmware is coming this week
they said the same 1 month ago, but we dont talk about that
I want my 2k polling back god damnit
8k actually turns it into a potato too quickly
Thats why 4k is the best
I liked 4k more on Razer mice, but 2k battery life goated
Didn’t feel much of a difference
4000usd chair
god i love that herman miller chair, if only i was rich
then id have the ultimate space for my thighs
Its worth it especially if u have back problems
Im already getting the logitech g version soon
how you like it?
I love it man definitely worth the money i just wish they came from the factory like that
i heard those chairs are good but fuck are they expensive
is this real? " 80he+miku sp004 giveaway"
is takky lying to me
All depends on what u consider expensive
Its a 2k chair without the headrest
But 2k is a good investment when u consider ur back and how long u seat in it
im back once again
to ask what iems or audio device i should buy for gaming
preferably oepn back but not necessity
Im grabbing me some dt 770 pros and scarlet solo 2i2
Imma let u know how those sound
But thats closed back
i love my edition xs
pc_gear
@twilit flame what are your thoughts so far
bro why didn’t they name this chat peripherals
nobody come to wooting discord tomorrow.
pretty fantasic sound wise, i do get a hotspot on the very top of the headband however
can probably get a cover to help with that
damn i gotta find smth else to edge to
I tried! I was out voted
try again :D
cuz at least to me peripherals makes more sense then "pc_gear"
also any thoughts on ZEN 8K mod kit?
unacceptable, why were the people not involved in this vote
hello
100%
Let’s make a poll: democracy wins
real
Peripheral Discussion/Peripheral Chat is 1,000% better than pc gear
or just peripherals
pc gear is giving tech but rebranded
anyways has anyone tried the zen 8k mod kit for viper v3
@white jackal did the most scufffed thing and ziptied an old steelseries headband to the cans
hey guys what is the best what is the best what is the best what is the best what is the best what is the best what is th
is your middle name jerry and last name rig
Take my money !
What is that thing
Am i about to make the Right choice
I dont understand what really omhs rating is
So like whats the difference between a 80
And a 250
what are you trying to do with your set up?
Just have the best possible sound to get the best competive advantage
I'm sure you can spend more than 300 right? lol
Hifiman Arya is a great deal for 600
I dont know whats the best stuff in that work
HD 800S is best soundstage but the treble can be a bit much for some people
and it's like 1800 unless you wait for a sale or used
more gaming vs music listening?
Arya Unveiled Open-Back Planar Magnetic Headphones Following the modern legacy of the flagship Susvara Unveiled and the upcoming HE1000 Unveiled, the Arya receives a similar fully open-back treatment. Ounded by Dr.Fang bean in 2007, HIFIMAN is widely regarded as one of the leading manufacturers of high performance headphones and portable audio products. HIFIMAN is especially known for its critically-acclaimed planar-magnetic headphones that feature state-of-the-art driver technology. The compa...
cheaper and you don't have to deal with exposed drivers
oh then you have plenty of options
I just want the best
it's just that it's hard to get certain brand in certain country
I see
you can easily spend 5-6 figures in audio, but it's not what you need lol
Imma going to guitar center tomorrow
How does one spend 6 figures in audio
Especially for gaming
Amps pre amps interfaces
I thought sound stage was by the headphones
5-6 figures is more like for music
You can get a DAC/amp stack built into 1 with the ifi zen DAC v3
Didn’t he say sound stage for gaming
Not a bad starter while you tune your taste
I was just saying in general
Ah ok
because he basically have a huge budget
Yea but i would want them separately
amps and dac won't make a huge difference, at least most of the time
both are great for gaming
WE ARE BACK with a highly requested updated to the original video. Got a couple new faces, some of the picks have changed and some have stayed the same. These are some of my favorite guys from the audio review space and what audio products they use for gaming. And not just for FPS.
✅TODAY'S GUESTS:
GadgetryTech - https://youtube.com/@Gadgetry...
basically everyone in this video mentions the 800S
but the treble can be too much for certain people
so def try em somewhere first before buying
if it's strictly for gaming, start with cheap IEM's or whatever the pros use; your typical Razer's, HyperX and Logitech's with built-in mics. Easy to drive but probably suck at music
ah, fair enough
yeah he's basically taking the next step into audiophile world lol
Thats the next step
the mother of all rabbit holes, audio.. or close to it
I have all generations of astros from a40's a50's
All razer headsets somewhere in my container of not used tech
yeah, I wouldn't even know where to start anymore, maybe the legendary Sennheiser HD600's?
true, true
Under 200 I would go EPOS PC38X, under 500 I would go HD 490 Pro
Anyone having issues with Audeze headsets software? The dang thing barely stays in side tone mode and stopped working with the app in dongle mode.
Don't be like me and spoil your ears with these
All my headphones now sound mediocre because I've spoiled my ears with HE-1
holy an og
560S or 490Pro depending on budget :D
Holy shit 75k cad?
75k when diminishing returns kick in at 1k, give or take
I didn't really like the sound, the high level of detail spoils everything, the music collapses into sounds.
I have one pair, not mine, but always available.
After 3 years of searching and listening to all the brands, Grado, Shure, Dan Clark, Stax just on top. DAC always chose R2R or FPGA: Chord Electronics, dCS or MSB, Although for $500 you will surely get a good solution.
If musical taste is not spoiled and choose live instruments, choose a brand that can make phono cartridges necessarily MM type. Get a good middle, fusion is a very important. Audiophiles often talk about what they don't understand lol.
Digitizing my vinyl track, you can appreciate the sound.
And here the tape recorder updated. A large collection of music from 1950 to 1998 with that quality.
i should really rip all my dad's cds and digitize his vinyl
how are the grado comfort wise? the cups look kinda small and i have fairly big ears so i never considered them for that reason
Look, for some reason, no one talks about the fact that you can safely stretch the headband of Grado headphones so they don’t press too hard on your ears—you can adjust the tension to your preference. I can comfortably wear my Grado headphones for 10 hours a day without discomfort. The only issue is the cable—it’s basically a hose, and that’s something to keep in mind.
In terms of sound, Grado has the best midrange frequencies. Focal Utopia, 800s, and Meze all lose to Grado in the midrange, absolutely. You can also choose suitable ear pads, but the original ones sound best: L-Cush, G-Cush.
yeah those cables do look THICC
i will probably consider grados for my next headphone tho i am fairly happy with my edition xs, i have a very diverse music taste and they sound good playing basically anything really
something i should get before new headphones is a real amp probably
i just dont know much about that stuff and i have no experience so i just have to rely on reviewers to tell me whats good and pray it works for me
Oh, audiphiles here, good
What are good wired earbuds (aka non-canal ones)? Hopper recommended FF3S and I'm considering them, but are there some other ones too?
IE 600
But those are in-ears
With Comply memory foam.
I want earbuds, I can't really use IEMs
Simphonio Dragon 3, CVJ SEVEN.
What I threw IE 600 along with Comply will be very comfortable, although canal.
If you want to change headphones, you need to understand what you don’t like about your current ones. There’s also the question of whether you need closed-back or open-back headphones—the difference in sound presentation is enormous
Not rlly looking to swap headphones atm, very happy with the ones i have
But i‘m thinking that maybe a proper amp/dac might be good
What amp you use now ?
Right now i‘m just driving them using my mic‘s integrated dac
So almost anything would be better
I mean idk maybe beyerdynamic puts some good shit into their mic integrated dac but i have a feeling that isnt the main priority with that product
Ya.
Is dt 990 pro 80 ohm good? Considering it since I want an open back headphone that sounds good and easy to run. Primarily for rhythm game, so listening to song is the main goal.
If there's any other rec, I want it to not require DAC/AMP since that can add issue/latency for the kind of rhythm game I'm playing.
Get a gaming DAC (idk if thats even a thing)
990 pro is probably good i dont see why it wouldnt be
990 drill
Can check dt 1990 pro
I mean... chip on your motherboard is a DAC too, so it doesn't really matter if you use onboard one or USB/PCIe one
Besides most DACs don't introduce latency at all
A bit too much for me, at most I'm considering hd 600
The 600s will be a great option for you—just make sure to choose a good DAC
Also no space for pcie soundcard... If I have I would get Asus Xonar AE since the arcade uses it
The arcade in question.
I have old ones HD 580, cool headphones.
Amp also wont introduce much latency considering the most basic amp is just a transistor
I have KA17, very happy with it for rhythm games too
Just wanna make sure I have the lowest latency possible. For now I only use motherboard headphone jack, inbox audio driver, and setting the audio buffer to 64 kb
Thanks for your input.
Guess I just get an amp and make sure it's fine
I can recommend FiiO stuff for USB
Xonar AE sounds like inexpensive but quite good solution too
maybe if I have an extra pcie slot
It just needs x1 though
It's being covered by my 3090, and my main slot is covered by my 4070tiS
USB then
Maybe when I can satiate my AI addiction another way, I can remove the 3090 to slot a pcie dac/amp
what is an ai addiction
It's not like USB DAC will introduce latency
FiiO K5 for example is cheap and nice
Final E3000 or higher but if you don't like your ears prodded, or headphone clamp try the Koss KSC75. An earclip that you barely notice it's there - good sound, good times imo
Alright, I'll consider it
it definitely will add latency lol
i went back to looking at amp/dac and remembered how stupid expensive audiophile stuff is

Every DAC will introduce latency, but there's tiny to no difference between PCIe and USB stuff
mobo was like 2/3 of usb dac for me
I mean... yeah, but it'll last you for years
It's not uncommon for high-end audio gear to outlive you
only reason to get one
MiniFuse 1, I use it for mic
And it has a beeg knob
I need to setup my Element III again. Been running my IEMs from the Elgato microphone recently.
Thank god we have moon drop pro
And ka11
Moondrop Pro is so cute
Agreed
And honestly my front panel is running my edition xs’s pretty nicely volume wise to me
yeah these dont need much power
Theyre crisp ✨

Big chunky
maybe ill just get a ka13 or ka17
My dusty FiiO e10k still going strong
ok
If you have iems it's better to at least get a dongle, motherboard too noisy
My motherboard is fine

i dont use iems, hate how they fit in ear
Even i heard my audio codec sucks
no it's not, get a dac
Why tho if my dac is working fine
I think you meant get amplifier
yeah but does it have a big, big golden knob
No need if i can do it trough my computer interface
get one if it is noisy lol
you should be able to tell with your ears
true, I have my headphone output through desktop speakers, it's good enough
My motherboard somehow is not noisy
Every motherboard I have ever owned has carried some level of noise. You can get DACs less than $50 that eliminate that noise.
Noise depends on motherboard, depends on DAC they used, hell, depends even on a singular motherboard
so using motherboard is best for noise music
depends on a lot of things including the iem and the cable
Well my z690 force wifi seems to have good dac
Using motherboard gives your music lo-fi vibes
lets ban iems
It can handle even 600 ohms
cals what have you been listening to
also a dongle is worth the $10 just to extend the cable from my PC since I have mine under my desk
ive been having too much fun listening to music to be productive today 😭
i need to stop listening to music and get on my uni shit
Just use cable extender
My favourite music genre is basically "whatever I overhear or find on YT and I like sound of"
like a dongle
cable extender is nice
lets just have good wireless audio
I can route the cable under my table so I got close to how arcade setup where their audiojack is.
Chat any suggestions for a small iem? I'm using zero reds atm and I like them a lot but I want a smaller set (mostly the actual housing, the nozzle diameter is fine)
No
my music taste can be summed up as "requires a minimal amount of attention"
Cable extender is not a dongle
Go to iems reddit
Old reliable, I'm running one as well
They might know stuff
That's my last week
the Sennheiser iems are quite small compared to most chi-fi iems
Sennheiser IE200 but sound is kinda ass for what you pay, higher models are even pricier but fit like a glove. Quite small imo
The ie200s is what I've seen suggested, might get them
i dont have any sort of way to track what i listen to and how much
But he wants extremly bassy iem

just make sure to have warranty
yeah you just have to replace the cable because the stock one sucks
I have galaxy buds 2 and their size and shape is perfect for all intents and purposes
pretty sure the IE300's add a bit more bass
Me neither, that's just my music player, and I throw there whatever I feel like listening at the moment
Yes that was second on my list but they look kinda big still?
em6l is super small and highly recommended by a lot of folks in that $100-ish bracket
You know small iem mostly means small nozzle from what I understand
Doesn't look "super" small to me but I'll look into them thanks
oh if you want smaller than that then you'll basically have to go like the old sennheiser type ones i think
I specifically mentioned nozzle size is fine on the zeroes, it's the housing against my ears that bothers me
Yeah that's what it's looking like
i'm not sure many brands make anything smaller than the hexa/em6l sizing which are one size below the giant zeros
if you wanted something a little more expensive these are small and apparently very comfy https://mezeaudio.com/products/alba
I always ran over ears before so I don't really know what is the norm
zeros are very huge though, it's a known thing with them being big and chunky
@rotund tree you can always buy custom made iems for 2000€
I want sweet and spicy ones
If not for earbuds - what would be a good pair of IEMs to like 200€? Maybe they'll do with flattish ear tips
Simgot Supermix 4s
Yeah i just use zero reds
i'm ngl
at home i enjoy good audio quality and all
when i'm out on the train
i just use airpods
too convenient and train noises will make anything sound bad regardless
What about AFUL Explorers?
Ah shucks, not available here
that's when I swap to the ANC
i kinda still want to be able to hear my surroundings incase someone needs me to move or i'm walking on the street and can hear cars driving past etc
Car noises pain
Thats why I just use 1 ear bud
even arcade noises is pain
So i just have my iem in all the time when it's loud and just pay attention to other people's faces while listening to song.
that's when you swap to transparency mode
try speedrunning Super* Review's Youtube, he's great at showing how iem's fit his ear and nerding out in general
thats too many modes
kind of want to get the Sony XM6's just for the improved transparency mode
but that's a waste run these XM4's till they die
I am confusion
There is so much of them
And I want to avoid reddit for picking audio stuff as much as I can
does he have a ranking system without his own products?
discontinued since july last year
the list is sound, he just happens to have a shop that sells multiple brands
Aria 2s are cute
pretty sure he has a standalone brand now, wonder if it's any good though
as long as the packaging has waifu anime then that's all that matters

I wonder if this is due to the infamous "plastic" timbre of electrostats. I've been eyeing the AA composer of the ZMF atrium as my first expensive upgrade. I've always preferred dynamic drivers.
what if anime girl on the IEM
for a low price
nah i'd get this
best mouse for rainbow six siege?
Racing wheel
Viper v3 pro
NEXT!
Shape/mouse weight I’d say is pretty important, VV3 pro was good in my experience (new one coming out soon I think), currently using beastx pro and has the best clicks for an fps mouse I’ve tried
Razer will do anything but release a normal wireless version of the viper mini shape
I had STAX 404 set there was just this effect from the model L700 it disappeared, but the feeling as if the sound is cut into pieces, the same effect and HE-1. But SR-X9000 amazing.
My beastx max is still in China 😔
I didnt buy it, but I got to try it out.
Hopefully you don’t get a 1 star local carrier
I remember thinking “this is a sick joke right?”
Yeah don't need another Atlantis mini 4k debacle
Waited 5 weeks for it to go 4h once it landed in canada
💀
I also tried out the sword x more, shape is perfect but for some reason the sensor loves skipping
🥀
It knows it's an ergo so it's having issues
It’s not even a full ergo either
It’s like a baby ergo which is why I like how it feels but unfortunate
These mfs gotta load this plane up already 😭
👀
It’s always new fastest ever base lol
Wake me up when the purple pad drops
I wonder what novel new coating they are using
yeah you can always say that. i want to get a second glass pad just to try and see whats the difference. I either buy this one or the purple pad
How does one afford such an item
be rich
Damn, why didn’t I think of that?
Buying bitcoin in 2010 and forgetting about it until present day
Have a high paying job I guess

Tbf it’s being rich not think about being rich
Luckily you can get HD800s and a good setup for remarkably less /s
my 60$ iem
All depends on u
All relative to you and your preference/taste (whether you want headphones, or IEMs, there’s a lot of different options/paths), you can probably find ppl that recommend apple earbuds for gaming
After seeing the 2600$ price tag I am gonna reconsider
Got myself a new monitor arriving tomorrow instead of using a 42" OLED TV. Not sure if I'll keep it but excited to try at least.
LG 27GX790A-B for that 27" 1440p 480Hz goodness.

I think I have the same one lmao
Ok ig like 1k+
ngl i recently heard that soundstage is a myth
Do you like it?
It’s good, honestly I prrefer my asus one just for the ui but yeah it works
Stand is thicc but I use a monitor arm
Placebo?
I’m using the 450se rn
Got them on sale for like 100$
I'll be keeping it on the stand at first
Hey guys did u hear about AM INFINITY MOUSE from angry miao? Or anyone already have one?
Wtf
kinda looks like an Abdominal Cricket Guard that my oldman would slam on the dinners table, after scoring 50 runs
Wireless headphones are just superior but nice
I can’t stand a wired headphones it’s like using your phone while charging it’s just not very good experience
Same goes for mice but mice I can actually stand a wired one but only if it’s a very slim and lightweight wire with a bangee
I still prefer wireless though
Wired are better
Better sound
