they are fine but i had some issues with mine and they arent the most modern good switch you can get today

my current favorites are TTC Horse and WS diamond cullinan, both of which have transparent housings so they dont need an rgb window

but they are also quite pricy

actually eh it holds up even if i shine my phone flashlight on it

no idea why it is how it is but i don't particularly mind, very easy to fix with some simple math

i just took a photo of the light, found the rgb offset for what i input vs what i got and then applied that offset to what i wanted

the amount of people I see saying "you can get better value from [x brand]" and then it's either a brand with considerably shittier software (unusable for gamers) or considerably shittier hardware (you will spend the money you saved modding the keyboard back up to speed anyway)

they don't seem to realize that the wooting boards still have unparalleled software and are usable out of the box without modding, because wooting literally does all the mod stuff for you

i literally had one of those "better" hall effect keyboards all the youtubers were sucking off (the boog75) and the moment i got rid of it my osu accuracy went up several %, and the wooting board sounds and feels better to use

hipyo's 80he review is especially bad though. you know it's going to be a disaster the minute it opens up with "the case is heavier and more durable than an aluminum alternative, but it has a pattern i don't like so it feels cheap and therefore corners are being cut"

Imo the tikkens are an upgrade compared to lekker V2, the closed bottom of the tikkens makes them feel and sound nicer and the stem wobble is better on them too

Coming from the apex pro mini what an upgrade. Attempted to lube the knight v4 stabs but wasn’t satisfied with the end result and ended up putting stock stabs back in till I get more time to tinker around with the aftermarket stabs

The sound of the keycaps gets higher as you go up the keyboard I assume that is because of the angle of the case

Although just my Q seems to have a rattle the rest of the keyboard does not

It’s not that I didn’t like them… I over lubed a few of the stabs amd didn’t have time to open the whole keyboard back up to tune them more. I’ll switch to them once I get more time to wipe off some excess lube

Pulling out some regular Jades to try out the heavier springed Jade Pros... seen a review on YT some thock n thock page er something... personal review was that the Pros were smoother than the Ultras. Decided to try both out.. got the Ultras in first and they are a milestone better than the regular Jades. Doing the Pros swap over now in a different 80HE that has my second set of regular Jades.. The Ultras are capped with XDA Profile keycaps.. huge sound difference makers over the old OEM profile caps

actually, that new wooting 80he only has the lekker v2 switches, which are worse than the lekker tikken switches, and a new keyboard with the lekker tokens costs around 234 euro, and the refurbished build costs 197, so you are still saving 37 euro which is pretty good if you ask me

If they're right next to each other, it's more likely because the wireless transmitter is shit, and can't get a clean signal to the mouse.

I would generally recommend putting wireless dongles on the front of the case.
