I would expect at least Nuphy and Iqunix to do so on their board. Not sure about DrunkDeer/Mad/Ace/other OEM board. Maybe they need to release another board if the OEM manu doesn't want to add the functionality on their older board.

Also not sure about Venom/Geon, but that one doesn't really matter anyway since he also sells wooting now.

I had an apex keyboard which is supposed to be 45g and for me they weren’t the lightest so I will try 40g. Worst case I return and change.

But I also type quite fast (150+ wpm) and nimbly, I sometimes fail to type due to not pushing the key down enough. We will see.

Just saw your DM, yes you need to remove all switches to lube them. Easiest way is to disassemble the keyboard and then pull switches from the plate, its way easier like that.

They arent any more fragile than most of the other switches. The biggest problem tends to be smaller switch pullers that slip and snag on the diffuser. If you're going to be pulling a bunch of switches though, I always suggest taking the board apart and just pushing the switches out of the plate. WAY easier.

they're pbt material keycaps which is good if you game a lot, it'll be more resistant to shine. Unlike abs which is higher pitched, pbt will have a lower tone

just because it's pbt doesn't mean it'll have a thock sound it'll just enhance whatever mods you decide to do to ur keyboard

i have set all the actuation points etc on lowest, so i have the least input delay, but when i play a fps game like valorant, and when i press multiple buttons at the same time like shift and wasd, they let go of each other

how do i fix this, so that i still have low input delay, but the buttons actuation point wont interfere with each other

This just means you are lifting up your shift finger too much and deactivate. Try to set your RT sensitivity of your shift to the highest value so it is not sensitive for you.

The buttons don't interfere with each other. This just reads as you lift your finger a bit and that is why they deactivate. 0.15mm is a very small amount so it is easy to accidentaly lift up your finger that tiny bit.

Guys some one know if there is a bug in the software version: 2.11.0 beta.0 ? Sometimes when i turn on the pc the keyboard dont turn on and i need to remove and reattach the cable to make it start. Yes i tryied a different cable and the normal one so what could be? I have ERP mode activated (complete disabled usb power when pc is off) could it be this to cause the problem?

You can tweak your power settings in Windows to keep USB ports on. If that doesn't work you can also try changing it in BIOS

Tactiles when? Turns out, right now.

After wrestling the Geon Raws out of this thing (removing the diffusers helped a ton), I swapped in a full batch of the Tecsee /AEboards HE switches. Ordered these direct from Tecsee so I could have the tactile domes (as opposed to the "linear" ones in the Raeds). As an EC apologist, I'm really enjoying them.

They're very quiet, but there's still some bottom out that isn't present on normal EC domes. I'd compare them most similarly to a silent tactile switch like the Haimu Whispers.

I just spilt water on my 80he, are there any major risks? I didn't spill that much. I put it in-front of a fan to try and dry it off. Any tips do reduce any potential damage?

Unplug it immediately. Screw it apart and make sure everything is dry inside.

Leave it for a day to dry fully, put it back together and it SHOULD be fine.

After you've dried as much as possible, grab desiccant packs and put the components in with them in a sealed case/bag to get the last of the moisture out.

I appreciate your quick response, I took the entire keyboard apart, I left the switches on the plate but I took all the keycaps apart separated the pcb from the switch plate. I left the stabilizers in because it allows me to put the pcb upside down without it touching the cloth so any droplets could just fall and it dries better. Here's a quick picture if anyone could tell me what you think.

They're completely different sounding and feeling switches. Geon Raws are loud, linear, and have short (3.5mm) travel. The AEbaoards Raed/Naevy switches (and these Tecsee recolors) are silent, tactile, and have full (4.0mm) travel. These ones in particular aim to replicate the feeling of a Topre keyboard.

My personal opinion:
No not really, the Raw HEs already have very little stem wobble. Essentially throwing the same amount of money to get a marginal improvement. If you're going from lekkers or the v2s or og jades, yeah, owlab Ti HEs or Geon Raw HEs are great options.

For me it isn't worth it because owlabs have a longer travel, and no 60g option without spring swapping, and I value short travel, besides I'm pretty satisfied with my Raw HEs :)

I believe the travel on the Raw and Owlabs is the same (3.4mm), but I mostly agree that if you already have Raws the Owlabs, while nice, may not be worth replacing all your switches.

Try unplugging all other USB devices and make sure you dont have any other USB or RGB software running. Unplug and replug the keyboard and see if the issue still exists.

Sounds like software interfering. Can you check if you have RGB software or something like Razer or Logitech running

looking for a tip, after i have got my 80he i find it hard to adapt to it. im not trying to complain on the keyboard itself it isnt my intention at all, i think the keyboard feels great and seem like its strongly built. my issue is that instead of giving me some kind of an edge, its making games harder for me. it is so sensitive, and i tend to rest my fingers on the keys and click them accidently - which causes unwanted clicks/movement in games.. advice?

Yes, thats normal. You should start with a profile that's less sensitive or adjust the settings in Wootility manually.

It may take some time getting used to. For a smoother transition, play with the actuation and rt settings. Increase, sensitivity as you get more used to it. Make and use different profiles so you can compare the settings on the fly.

if you have stab pads and they get soaked when overlubed the keys tend to feel a bit sticky.. might want to check when you clean up

it was a new build. I noticed when I put on the backspace key it felt a little off. Took it back off and noticed a ton of lube on both bars. Took just a bit off and moved them without the keypad on to work it around the bars and it seems fine now

The Bone80 and the GT80 are super expensive to get shipped over here in Europe, sadly

With taxes and whatnot, the total cost goes up to around 180 (210 for the Bone) USD. At which point the official Zinc case is just a far better value proposition. Which is why I was looking at these cheaper, more unknown stuff to see if they're any good. With Aliexpress coupons and whatnot, you could get them down to the 110 USD range.

Apparently somehow, I had another English layout on my Windows. I don't know how - I just did a restart to my PC and that weird ENG layout disappeared, I had to switch the letter Y & Z again, but since then - all is okay.

Same here! When I'm playing I hear the Windows sound of a disconnect and reconnect. It does this to me often, I have already checked the cable. The in-game pg seems to keep going on and getting pulse but I can't stop it for a few seconds until it reconnects. 😭
