So it looks from what has been said the parcel was damaged during shipping. Normally, when this occurs, the courier will set it aside for inspection, and if it's more than just torn packaging, it will be returned to the sender.
Since you've submitted a ticket, your best bet is to wait for a response. We are currently dealing with a high volume of tickets, so a response may take a while.

Finally got around to removing some of the excess lube on my geon switches and shits so much better now. Be careful when lubing, it's super easy to go overboard, especially if you haven't done it before like I hadn't

I did the springs and stem as well and it ended being a bit much. Made it too soft/mushy for me on some keys so I just pulled them out and re-did them

Anyone ever had their 80HE completely frozen and require an unplug to recover?
Had that 5 or 6 times since the weekend when playing OW2. It seemed to only happen on my 3rd profile with Rappy Snappy or SOCD enabled though.
The profile was copied from the default RT profile and I simply added Rappy Snappy on A and D. Initialily I thought there might be a bug in RS so I tried SOCD (A and D) but still.
Have you tried other port? Does that happen when you use other profiles?

Let me also try creating a SOCD profile from scratch rather than copy from RT and add SOCD. Maybe there was something wrong when copying.

Tbh I find the Raw zinc most attractive but it means Iâm waiting for the 3rd batch(no clue when 3rd batch) and imagine already waiting from may-June to the white
I got both RAW and White Zinc they´re worth dying for. you can´t order RAW rebuilt. So that would not affect the delivery time. White will be a longer wait indeed.

maybe. They're still trying to work out what could be causing it (whether it's to do with usb power issues or what else) but dropping to 1k poll seems to fix the issue for now for most folks
There's been a lot of weird behaviour around the whole 8k poll stuff. Whether it's other devices turning off/on when wooting 80he is connected, to the keyboard itself disconnecting/reconnecting etc. Could be a lot of causes that cause the usb instability issues
Sounds like a project to put to use my test instruments to check out what's up with that issue.

mode button causes it to swap between profiles. Polling is defaulted to 8k (you can turn down to 1k in settings though if you have issues) and in non tachyon mode it's 8k poll/1.6k scan while tachyon is 8k poll/scan

at worst it is as cold as your room (provided that stays at a stable temperature)
if it is cool in your room the zinc will be able to sink your heat a lot faster than plastic though

Good morning, a few of my longer keys (shift, caps, space bar etc) both stabilized and non have a sticking feeling when bottomed out. Delaying them from traveling back up like normal.
Has anyone else experienced this?
And what potential solutions would you recommend?

Because if it's question about whether it's good or normal that stickyness might go away, then sort of yes. Because breaking in switches is a thing as well and lube and surface of the plasting smoothens out. And lube that has sat around might get bit sticky especially with stabs as it usually might have bit heavier / viscous lube if it has some, but usually not super much if it's light and more oily.
Yeah I wasnât sure if the stabilizers had a thicker lubricant that was giving the key a gummy/sticky feeling
It messes with my brain when Iâm working and it doesnât immediately snap back up, it feels like it gets stuck for a few milliseconds. Iâll look into some different lubes. Just was wondering if anyone else had experienced this. Maybe my plate was one of the first ones made so it sat for a bit

You can order a 3D printed one âď¸. More plastic = more waste. You can use a micro fiber cloth
If you ordered a Zinc case. You get a carrying case. Thatâs where my 80HE sleeps
And yeah,very common if there's a lot of lube at the bottom part of the stab stem when it hits the board
Anyone that's ever lubed switches/stabs likely has faced this sooner or later.
"Too much lube". It generally likely won't go away on it's own if it's at that point, but could with just bit of use and breaking in if it's not too bad. May need to open and unscrew the stabs and wipe a bit from the board.
not sure if wooting adds pads under the stabs or anything, but if they do and it's very soaked, that can get bit sticky and cause that problem. Just suction cup effect, you know.

Went from a membrane (some old logitech) to a mechanical keyboard (Corsair K70 Mk2) and it was so much better, then switched to the Keychron Q6 Pro and it was, once again, so much better. Hope I will have the same experience when my 80HE arrives in a few weeks

It is "in transit" as soon as production finishes. Then a flight has to be booked, the keyboards have to be shipped to the plane, loaded and so on. And this takes time. And it'll stay "in transit" until it arrives at the warehouse

it takes time to train new people, they just recently added 7 members and 1/2 of them are for CS
for me it took 3 weeks to get my case changed and to then only find out there is going to be another delay

Itâs kind of an infinite game of cat and mouse theyâre playing where theyâre constantly hiring yet every time thereâs a different issue they get a surge of tickets
so the staff just have to slog away and hope that they donât get another big issue like the white zinc cases or the bubble mailers

As mentioned, we did send autoresponses previously when tickets exceeded the expected resolution time. The reaction we got to these emails was predominantly "stop sending me auto responses and just resolve my ticket"
I'm confident in saying that for every person who appreciated the generally useless "sorry we've not resolved your case yet" email, an equal number are accepting of the reality described in the first autoresponse that clearly indicates support is overwhelmed at the moment and responses are taking longer than anyone wants
