I don't think any usb c is really going to be fully 100% tight. You need to get the plug in and it's got to have some room so it's nost just full solid and break. It'd break the center piece if it was absurdly tightly clipping. So it's hard to say how that feels loose or what.

hello! apologies if this is the wrong channel for this but i am running into a problem with my wooting 80he and my hori keypad (https://stores.horiusa.com/HPC-047U) i use a steelseries aerox 9 wireless mouse for reference

i plugged in my 80he and changed some bindings and colors, thats all. i started using the keypad and when i use the joystick it moves my mouse cursor, something that did not happen before, neither with my 60he or my rainy75. checked updates, no other controller or keyboard plugged in, just my 80he and the hori keypad. i reset my 80he settings and the joystick on the hori worked normally, and today after boot up it happened again. i reset the keyboard settings again and its still happening so im not sure whats causing this interference.

You can get close, but AZERTY has a slightly different physical layout. You wouldn't have the "<>" key between shift and W, but for the most part you can reassign every key on the board to get a AZERTY layout.

on some tabs that are holding the switch from north and south are 14.58mm, others are 14.70mm, 14.64mm, etc, i've measured it, there's also variance in switch housing dimensions with some being exactly 14.00 while others are 14.02mm, 13.97mm

all of this adds up and makes certain switches easier/harder to pull out, i didn't do 200 switches though, only like 160 from both my 80he and 60he

my plan is to print pic related and just put it over the switch from behind to compress the holding tabs

RAW obviously isn't raw zinc metal. It needs a coating finish to prevent it from going through oxidisation.

The raw case will have significant variability, and there will absolutely be people who receive a product that doesn't match what they expected. It's very challenging to communicate what the exact expectations should be for a product like this, but we do feel like we've done a good job.

Thankfully, if anyone gets their product and doesn't like it, for any reason, they can return it within 30 days no problem 🙂

as far as the product page goes the raw case appears to be a polished piece of metal with an even finish and no suggestion that there might be stains or marks

even the description between black/white/raw are the same, you can't just have perfect renders and then say 'well the video mentioned there will be marks and blemishes'

no matter how well the issue is communicated through videos and discord it's still poor as far as people that just visit the website > order the thing go
