one can imagine if there was enough of a push for it the manufacturers would be encouraged to do more rnd in that regard (Norbauer had a sick presentation about but the cost is unrealistic) and find the solution

although i can see how it's probably a very low prio issue and the easiest solution is to just toss in a 1-2 dollar worth of lube along with the keeb + instruction on how to use it

I have spent two days now with the 80HE and it feels so premium and looks/sounds amazing. My biggest issue is trying to figure out the right actuation points for my superglides on Apex lol. My 60HE settings don't feel the same, and I'm not hitting them consistently.

They've already communicated quite a lot regarding this imo.
The main upgrade will be to make it MORE DIFFICULT to scratch the case if possible. However, it is still paint as white cannot be anodised so it will remain a possibility.
It's not going to have upgraded internals or a refreshed design, they will probably discuss with the manufacturer different paint options considering this issue has arisen.

Basically, no matter what v2 - v100. if it is paint and you are dead set on scratching it, it will scratch.

Got my 80HE today. Polybag. Lots of holes and tears in the bag. L45 switch tube and box blown up. Lid of tube broken. I received all 90 switches but three of them had broken plastic pins. 80HE box okay. Not as bad as some but dented in on corners etc.

Theres also a couple different sound tests comparing PCR/Zinc so that should give you a decent idea (although wont be a perfect 1:1)

Same thing happened to me before with USPS. I doubt it’s lost just give it time. It says running late so most likely they’re overwhelmed with packages. Probably because of all the people panic ordering when the dock workers went on strike. My keyboard being delivered with ups is also delayed. It actually came here and then went all the way back to California. It’s currently on its way back here but also running late.
