Very dissapointed about wootings latest batch update post regarding the chipping on the white zinc alloy model and the news on the raw zinc alloy. So it seems that my keyboard was not even on the cosco thailand. After all the waiting, their updates, their visits to china, the pvt samples they recieved, theyre still having issues. Also dissapointed at their quality control. Perhaps they should have invested a little more time in deciding and defining their products, researching, comunicating, and demanding from the manufacturer a product that reflects the price they charge for their keyboards. Hopefully what and when I finally get my keyboard it will be a solid product that will last me a long time and that its a worthwhile item after all this waiting/ if they finally really figured out the finishing on the raw zinc alloy.

@night i figured out what the problem is. Some of my keys weren't functioning correctly or they were glitching. So, if your keys are not working or glitching, it's because the actuation point is set to below 0.5mm. So if it's 0.4mm or lower, some keys may stop functioning correctly.

Glitches in what way? My W key glitched to perm pressed last night and i had to unplug the kb to fix it. I suspect it's the fw being so new. I remember when the huntsman v3 pro first came out, the rt was very glitchy until they issued a fw update

The switch plate is on the tad too tight side, so it could've also been a bit easier. We're adjusting the tolerance to be in a different range. We didn't have the tighter fit on approved golden samples.

Where the cable lays down, it takes up some space. So you can't really put as much foam / dampening material there which leaves it sounding a bit more hollow than the rest of the board.

I think I'll open it up tomorrow and try to fit in some more around the cable, just didn't want to put pressure on it and risk damaging something.
