There is the Snappy Tappy feature that you can enable that is problematic/banned in certain games/tournaments but that is something Steelseries and Razor also have. So as long as he doesn't test the water with that (or does other forbidding stuff in Osu!) he should not fear any bans/problems

What you are asking is not a "slight change". It is a fundamental change of everything in your order, and it will absolutely mean getting your batch changed from Batch 1 to 2. 🙂

honestly the big things are weight and shape, some people like heavier mice but the trend has been towards lighter mice for awhile. if you want the mouse to fill your entire hand then look for something shaped for palm grip, if you just want to hold it by your fingers like claw or fingertip grip then get something smaller

Both 80HE and 2HE are only good for typing if you like linear switches. If you want tacticle switches which a lot of people prefer for typing, both are not good.

I am using a Apex Pro TKL. That is not a good keyboard by keyboard enthusiast standards. But I like smooth linear switches and am happy with it. It is much better than my CHerry MX Red/Silver keyboard. But probably not good for typing if you ask people you are picky
