By default with Tachyon mode the LED brightness is capped at 70%, but you can unlock it and override that. This is done because Tachyon mode +_100% brightness LEDs pushes the limit and any weak link in the system (low quality cable, USB port, power supply, USB hub, etc etc) can cause issues
