The only exception are the Take Control keycap sets with the wave patterns. Only enough keycaps for 60HE

i'd even wager a lot of people don't notice the difference initially in some games. For good mechanical players it's gain in fps games mostly applies to very rapid repeated strafe inputs - which isn't as mind blowingly noticable as rapid trigger or anything similar

It doesn't sound like anything too brain twisting. In idea, instead of having to release a key to the release point, it will just send release signal when designated pair key is lower than current level of the key. So it's just active, live release limit system that makes it faster when one finger presses down and other releases, instead of waiting for one key to release first and then press second. Not sure of the razer system but it also seems to be playing with the signal logic, just actually blocking signal when another key presses, somehow, but I didn't pay too close of an attention.

Wooting solution is just ability to make it bit faster to switch between two key presses

The difference between Snap Tap and Rappy Snappy is that with Snap Tap, if you press and hold one key down, and then press a different key, you get two reactions:
The new key is activated (with one action, the press, this is correct)

With Rappy Snappy, if you hold down one key and press the other, then the second key will not activate until after it passes the actuation distance of the first key.
If the first key is only held down, then you never release it, and it never deactivates. But if you start to release the first key (taking an action) and the second key passes the first in press depth (also taking an action) then the one stops and the other starts.

In short, with Snap Tap, you can take multiple actions with one input. With Rappy Snappy, you must make two inputs to get two actions

I'm trying to make a Wooting keyboard be as quiet as possible, and I saw that the Lekker switches aren't as quiet as the jades. Eh. Razer is fine for mice at least. Only other product I own from them is their old webcam with a built in ring light, makes a perfect hand cam.

For gaming, you made the best choice hands down. Don't have the 80HE in hand yet but they've made several changes to improve the sound as well to tailor to the audiophiles. I have a wooting 2 lekker edition keyboard and it is solid. The 4 reasons I'm upgrading are for the better switches, the slightly smaller form factor, and then the overall better sound/feel and according to their tests, this will be even faster than the 60HE and Wooting 2 HE so there's that. Yeah there are a ton of other keyboards coming out with HE now, but wooting did it first and more importantly, they do it RIGHT

I think it’s more so that the keyboard will poll when it has data to send. Same with a mouse, but because of the granularity and freedom of movement of mouse input you can pretty easily send 8000 polls per second. Where as a keyboard you’re very unlikely to trigger a keypress 8000 times in a second.
So effectively 8000hz polling on a keyboard is more like 0.125ms update rate. (Technically synonymous but a bit easier to wrap your head around imo).

I'm not sure Chris knows what he's talking about exactly. Jades come in one spring weight variant. Lekkers in both 45 and 60 variants, with loose spring modding on the side.

Of course you can mod the Jades in a similar manner, but that's all DIY
