Can check what's included at the bottom of the 80HE page, the keyboard itself will be in the travel case already. (but keycaps should be in a seperate box & packaged in the same box)

And yeah, it's not visible in order, it's a part of zinc alloy case "kit"
And keycaps are going to be packed in separate box, but everything will be shipped together in one cardboard box (at least for EU)

For practical reasons I wouldn't do this, but acoustically speaking, rock wool has some great characteristics, hence it's use as insulation in studios. Or fill KB with expanding foam. Something extreme lol.

Can’t find the thread of this discussion. But there’re quite a few industrial solutions to sound dampening if you think that will help with getting the right sound profile of your keyboard. I think the challenge of keyboards is how to get the right sound for the specific preferences. Unless someone record the sound profiles for switches, case materials/ thickness etc like Crinacle has done with IEMs, we’re going to be in the HiFi magic snake oil territory. 🤣

Its not really the difference between the 80HE and 60HE click latency, but 8,000Hz does help over 1,000Hz for the game I play. Instead of having the ticks match the framerate, it matches the polling rate of the kb, despite 1k being enough, 8k does help and the keybiard has F and arrow keys which I really need way more than 8k
