I'm of the opinion that it probably won't be noticeable. Sure you might notice it in tests, but while gaming I don't think you will. The biggest bottleneck in the latency is actually you, so I don't think it will really matter. With say a reaction time of 200ms, the difference between 200ms + 1ms (1khz) and 200ms + 0.125ms (8khz) is gonna be miniscule.

All switches come decently lubed but we won't know the extent until mass-productions has begun since its the new v2 Lekkers

but its safe to assume they'll be good - people will always want to re-lube for their own preference however

As for the kit... you'll only have to push in switches, screw it together and put on keycaps, nothing more really

Hello guys, I was never that much of a keyboard enthusiast. I do like to play games competitively and I got conviced by the advantages wooting keyboards bring. That's why I decided to go for one. But honestly, I am just overwhelmed by the amound off stuff you can go with. The 80% layout is perfect to me. I don't like too small keyboards but the 100% layout takes too much space away.
I want to place my order in the next couple of days but I can't really decide. I do like some clean white stuff. I was thinking of going with a white zinc alloy case, linear45 lekkar switches v2, double shot backlit pbt keycap (since it's the only white option of keycaps in my case) and of course the module... Is it worth going for zinc alloy case? Since it's a lot just for a case. Maybe someone of you enthusiasts can share opinions? I would really appreciate some help! Thank you very much! 😄

A metal case ultimately won't make you a better game. It's heavier, it looks neat and it changes how the switches sound when tapped. But it doesn't CHANGE how you use the keyboard.

They were talking some posts back about the L45 and L60 switches. One is lighter than the other. Im guessing the lighter switches are better for physical responses? Any other advantages or disadvantages? I have no clue whether the few grams are even noticeable/ will feel nicer etc

Personal preference. A switch is either the exact right weight, or you want it a little lighter or heavier. L60 is the standard, L45 is lighter.

You can also go as low as L30 with spring swapping, or as high as 70, 80 or even 100 the other way. I use L80 custom switches, which defininitely require a bit of pressure to activate - which is perfect for me, as I always accidentally hit keys when resting my hands.

The easiest way to tell is to figure out what your current keyboard is like weight wise, and then consider if that's right for you, or if you feel like it's too light or too heavy
