I can’t speak on the keyboard specifically, but keycaps can vary wildly. If you have a metal keycap set rgb ain’t gonna do much regardless of keyboard. If you have pudding keycaps then basically anything with a light will glow

To make it a button, you'd have to... make it a button, so LEDs couldn't be soldered straight to the PCB and most likely that'd need another daughterboard, which adds complexity for something not really significant

Just voicing my desire for a wooting-made solution. Especially for the zinc alloy cases where the plastic outer cover just feels out of place. Would be killer to have a zinc or black glass piece to slot in there. With 3d printing I’m still going to struggle to get rid of plastic look.

Design files make it a lot easier to send it to some cnc somewhere, but yeah it’s expensive so I can hope that enough people want it, which I’ve noticed come up not-so-few times about the LED bar and a way to “get rid of it”.

Like a black glass piece that still would let the LED light out if you want it, but be completely matte if left off would look so clean

Best way to control volume is through the last device in the chain which is usually the amp but OS can't control that 99% of the time 😕. All you'll hear is amplified noise if you have some serious EQ going

Speakers are a little different. If the port you're using has an integrated headphone amp, 100% volume in Windows will be WAYYYYYY above full scale voltage of 2.0V. Usually, the motherboard vendor provides a realtek driver that allows you to turn off the built-in headphone amps so the ports will actually send proper line level voltage out

That could be the result of an inaccurate keyboard calibration.

To explain the process: When the keyboard powers up, it will scan each key's current analog voltage value and record that value in the keyboard memory. Once the LEDs turn on, the calibration has finished, and it will then use the recorded value as a reference for the resting position.

In some cases, the keyboard will record an inaccurate value from keys being pressed or devices near the keyboard that produce strong EMI, like a wireless charger or router, and recalibration is required to fix it.
