and if you ignore the brass weight, then yeah, it's cheaper by a small amount. If you order the zinc now, you get a travel case which is more value than hyothetical case savings a year from now.

• Now 3 weeks into the founder's campaign, 1 week to go. Where are we at?
      - Up through now, we've been rebalancing layout and model allocations to match real sales
      - But now with 3 weeks of data, we are locking it down and placing the first purchase order
      - After accounting for order cancellations and pushing B2B buyers into the second batch
          - First batch is 80% sold out across all layouts and models!
      - Also means that we've gotten data about which layouts and versions are popular, and which might not make the cut.
      - All of the prebuilt options will be available to purchase for the entire first and second batch!
          - Second batch is TWICE the size of the first batch.
      - Starting with the third batch, expect that some of the prebuilt models will not be available
          - This won't matter if you buy within the next month or two.

This will be my first metal keyboard case. I have had others at work use my FC660C and say it's very plastic and they hate these plastic keyboards because they are too light. Well the FC660C isn't really light, but it's also not extremely heavy. I think it is a great board that I bring into work every day in the office.

i always wanted to try an aluminum case though, I just didn't want to spend twice what my FC660C cost to try it out for that one.

I think nothing is wrong with plastic really, I guess I care more about the typing experience. I'd rather have a high quality plastic keyboard than some cast aluminum case board with mediocre internals.

Yeah please remember to turn the stuff to 100% on the software side and use that knob as much as possible, of course some games or programs will have to be turned down, but windows sound mixer is not the way if you care about not throwing away sound quality (if you spent money on a DAC then you definitely should care)

Thanks for reminding me, I checked and windows audio is at 100%, the DAC volume is at -12 dB.

I’ve always had my wrist on the pad, but never anchored it or put pressure on it.
Last few weeks I’ve been practicing hovering my wrist laying my hand on the mouse. This makes my lower arm (almost elbow) the anchor point.
