OH yeah this happened to mine lmao. I havent tested them yet but they were definitely just completely loose in the bag

keyboard was fully intact though. works great and no scratches or anything

but. the switches were definitely taking a beating as they had punctured a bunch of holes in the bag

Very dissapointed about wootings latest batch update post regarding the chipping on the white zinc alloy model and the news on the raw zinc alloy. So it seems that my keyboard was not even on the cosco thailand. After all the waiting, their updates, their visits to china, the pvt samples they recieved, theyre still having issues. Also dissapointed at their quality control. Perhaps they should have invested a little more time in deciding and defining their products, researching, comunicating, and demanding from the manufacturer a product that reflects the price they charge for their keyboards. Hopefully what and when I finally get my keyboard it will be a solid product that will last me a long time and that its a worthwhile item after all this waiting/ if they finally really figured out the finishing on the raw zinc alloy.

@placid fern Ok? They literally sent out a more than an okay offer to everyone to remedy the White Zinc case situation. Most people have zero idea what type of problems and headaches come along with making a product let alone such an anticipated product that grossed like 8m in the first month.

1. They brought it to everyones attention ASAP

2. Choose $40 store credit, Switch to a Black case, or hold your order until a future White Zinc revision or perfected. 2-3 month wait.

I chose for them to ship it as-is because it's incredibly easy to buy a new revised case in the near future. Just because a handful of people (2) mentioned issues here and there with their cases - this doesn't mean absolutely every single case out there may have the same problems. They caught it early and gave us a quick update AND offered far more than any other company or GB would so.

If you want to help them inspect 25k keyboards shoot them an email.

Totally agree you do not know the end from the beginning on any enterprise but...how about logistics? how about ensuring the product you pre-sold is going to stand to the reputable name the company carries. How will all these issues will affect the company going forward? Would all these issues affect how it is perceived? They brought it to everyones attention? when? When the people had already received it? Respect you for defending them, I am not accusing anyone, but when someone is in the public eye, they have to be and should be all ears and open to criticism, especially them, if they are a young company, so they can take all these situations, absorb them and plan better and anticipate better for the future. Do you work for them? Probably. So long.

My parcel was sent 19.9. and was registered at DPD 25.9. One update after that 27.9. without location and it’s stuck.

Have been beyond frustrated, that it is stolen or something, but after I found this channel it is way more possible that if it was sent in that plastic bag it have been ripped open or something.

I don’t know what to say about that way of packaking for over 300€/$ worth of merchandise…

Now I think I have to wait three more weeks for my keyboard. One more week before it is declared lost, then week for resolving and one more week for new shipping.

If you're not in the NA, then yours was sent in a box. The bag shipments seem to be just an NA problem for the first batch that went out.

Nice and not nice. Yeah, it is shipped to Finland. Ordered Gateron Jades and better cable 28.9. and in two days after shipped their nicely on their way here. It shouldn’t be over week here that courier carries parcel here. DPD took over six days to register the parcel in their depot.

Last week we received a notification from the building management where our US entity is registered to inform us of having received a shipment from UPS of a customer's order that we declared lost more than two months ago

I guess they found the parcel in a dark, dusty corner of some warehouse somewhere, and the person who found it decided not to return to sender or deliver the thing, but to Google "Wooting" to find an address and deliver it there

It have been odd and shady from the get go. Never gonna use DPD ever again.

Friend got his with GLS in five days. I avoided GLS because last time courier service in this end was nightmare. They wouldn’t drop to pick up point and made it hard to match time courier.

This week noticed that here where I’m living now, there is GLS service point 400 meters from my front door.

Pretty rare that big carriers have failed to deliver package here, but those firms they have used here have sucked.

Now we pick up deliveries from parcel points.

DHL and UPS are most common here. GLS, DPD or PostNL haven’t heard of before Wooting.

What makes this frustrating is that I have waited for that keyboard over 6 months already and have waited 75-80% Wooting keyboard since I first bought TWO HE and then 60HE.

I have to write my master thesis this winter and 60HE isn’t best tool for it.

Have to add that Finnish National Postal service is the worst. Here in Finland we call their couriers ”Posti Ninja”.

Even if you have ordered something to be delivered home. They can visit you so silently and without leaving foot or tire prints in the snow, but still report that they were on your front door and that you weren’t home. Even if you made sure that you can be there whole day waiting.

Then they refuse to redeliver and you have to pick it up from parcel point.

oh its worse here in south africa, you get something shipped to a post office, you arrive there and there is a chain on the door cus they didnt pay rent and your package is just locked in there for sometimes over a year.. some times youll just never get it.. its so common for the post offices to just not pay rent.. so ive learned to just pay extra for shipping and not use postal shipping. its pricey but at least i know imma get it

In my experience when ordering a 60HE. ACI had it for like 4-5 days before it was updated. And it’s now the weekend, so you may not see any updates until Monday or Tuesday.
