Everyone is getting different shipping companies. It probably has to do with pricing on availability. If it's cheaper to do expedited shipping with USPS with where you live, they'll probably use that rather than just UPS or Fedex

I won't be modding it too much I think? I wanted the aluminium case, so I bought the Alumaze.
All I most likely will do is lube stabs and lube + switch film switches. I've seen a lot of people tape mod their wooting too, so might consider doing that

I don't really know the difference between Jades vs Lekker I just went for the standard lekker60.. 60g is pretty close to my gateron black ink 2s I have rn so not too big of a change to bottom out which is nice

ahh, jades are 35g bottom out i believe? so a pretty drastic difference. probably good that you stuck with the lekker60s

i just enjoy the sound profile of the jades + other stuff that was nice with the switch. it's definitely one of the lightest HE switches though

I heard the lekker switches doesn't have the best tolerances (ofc could be wrong), so maybe the Jades have that going for them? I have heard people mention the jades so clearly they're popular. I used to have some ultra light switches before but I rest my thumb on the spacebar, so I kept accidentally pressing it lol.. so I decided to go heavier and never turned back! This won't happen with 45g switches either tho. The switches I used that was too light were 35g. Do not recommend that :p

The parcel has already been handed over to DHL and it has been displayed since “ Tue, 16.07.2024, 22:06 The shipment has been processed by DHL and is being prepared for onward transport to the recipient's region”. Its about 250km to me - Normally this takes a maximum of 1 day on the part of DHL. It has been displayed since Tuesday - Arriving on Thursday, which can happen, but 3 days is very unusual and is probably due to the DHL ranch where it is currently located from what I have read on the internet - The branch is probably often a bit slow. I really hope the package is finally processed today and the keyboard arrives tomorrow and not next week. Nothing against Wooting Ordered on Saturday evening - DHL tracking arrived immediately on Monday morning.🔥

Depending on when you ordered and when it got shipped it can just be latency.
I think some companies that operate in other countries use 3rd party companies to transfer.
For example my order from Wooting never showed anything on the tracking link, until it was in Krefeld Germany

So this might just be the phase of a 3rd party postal service transferring to the next DPD facility
But I guess if it's still the same tomorrow or so, I'd contact Wooting or DPD

i would say wooting bridges the gap between customs and the usual gaming keyboard from steel series/razer etc. I have a wooting 60he and that's how I see it. It's not as customizable as a custom keyboard in termsof switches etc, but it is close. You wont regret it. I'm just waiting for them to see how esports org react to razer's cheatsy implementation of rappy snappy because I hope they do implement it he razer way if it becomes the norm

Yeah I know, for the add adjustment during typing it's fine, but sometimes you just want to not constantly have to press the function button to play a game. For example Anno 1800 has arrowkey map movement, and loads of other hotkeys so u can make it somewhere else. And also runescape uses arrowkeys not rebindable. Combined with the fact that alot of games use the F keys too ( which I can't be bothered to press the FN key (bottom right) and the 1 to + keys I decided to sponsor Wooting with more money. Also now I will have a good THONK on the Zinc Allouy keyboard.

I'm putting this one for sale when I get the new one. So I probably will be able to recoup some of the cost.

You can technically make a 2nd profile and just bind arrow keys to those keys as you probably don't ever use them anyway

Put FN on the right alt, make the others arrow keys, job done

Like I said, can't be bothered pressing an extra key during gaming for the FN keys. I figured I just buy the 80HE for the extra real estate. Im not saying the 60HE is bad or anything. Just personal preference!
