You can play multiplayer but its consume a LOT of time. And dont worry, you will play a lot of time anyway. The best help is farming the sektor maps with friends and turning red into blue, maybe with this your can cut 15/20 hours in the multiplayer.

It takes around 2 lock-ons from what I remember to kill a hell knight, that's 6 rockets

Remote detonation is objectively the superior mod in 2016

Also instead of lobbing grenades or an explosive shot at shield soldiers just detonate a rocket behind them

More practical uses + higher damage = better mod

I'm not exactly sure how the damage for lock-on is computated considering that it takes 6 rockets from a lock-on to kill a Hell Knight and Krakken told me that Lock-on rockets do 450 damage(unsure whether or not if this is single rocket which I'm pretty sure it isn't because otherwise you'd only need 1 cycle of locked-on rockets to kill a Hell Knight) but I digress

Remote Detonation actually has damage upgrades to the rockets themselves while Lock-on focuses on a faster lock and faster recovery, thus no damage boost

Let me try to find the damage values for Lock-on

"In DOOM (2016), rockets deal a total of 480 damage (130 impact + 350 splash). Lock-On Burst rockets each deal 325-400 damage (300-375 impact [depending on the monster] + 25 splash)."

He clearly knows how it works as he changed it between 2016 and Eternal

He didn't create it but he has done his own modifications. The suit is hinted at being created with the wretch with doomguys help which explains why it has human language interfaces as well as resembling sentinel armor

Sometimes i also use the lock on burst of the rocket launcher after i shot the gauss canon

When that happens your only option is it start a file and go for the 2 achievements that did not unlock. This will solve your issue
