I use the controller through Steam Input. RB or R1 switches to previously used weapon when tapped, and hold for weapon wheel.

Instead of keybinds, I hold for the weapon wheel and quickly flick the right stick to another weapon. If done quick enough, it should take less than a second. If you have time to breathe, you can use it to check your ammo.

You can also shorten or extend the length of the input to activate the weapon wheel in the controls menu.

The weapon wheel can also be customized in your weapons menu, just a tab away from the map.

I think it was meant more in the sense that he couldn't stop the icon from being woken up. If the procession finished then the khan would have full control over him and if he did what he did in game then it goes wild and free with no restrictions, which is what happened. She meant there was no way to keep him dormant any longer and he would be unleashed no matter what.

Arc complex master level is one of my favorite levels period and has been it's so fun with the encounters and the soundtrack is chefs kiss even I finally did a nightmare run on it after so many uv ones

Mars core I've came close to getting in the past, I even had the last arena going and my game crashed and by that point I just switched it off then today I got to the marauder encounter and couldn't hack it, taras nabad I got to the fog and did get past but both of em I plan on beating one day

so they are rusty and playing something much harder, not a good combo

Now I even use micro missiles bc I find use for em and in arc complex earlier I lit a tryant up with them just burned though the ammo and used one ssg blast to kill him which was so fun for me and I understand micro missiles are pretty much niche or useless for most people but shooting fast boom booms is fun especially when you can kill shit with it

precision bolt is ideal if your a more experienced player and can do tech to fire it like an auto rifle

but still micro missiles are a great new player tool and in late game at max upgrade they can shred Doom Hunters and rival the max upgraded turret against super heavy demons

if your wondering what the "useful for particular instances" is for the auto shotgun im referring to Cultist Base Mancubus Freeze+Auto Shotgun combo that guarantees it will die in exchange for most of your ammo and ofc the stupid ass stone imps. It's also useful for basic heavies early game like the arachnotron or a hell knight if you can handle your aim

chaingun is useful as a "oh im tired just fire" after you unlock it before you get the turret or chaingun shield, or if you can't use either of them and u just want simple mostly fine damage output

remote detonation has those isolated use cases for normal players like me but i forgor which ones, I know more experienced players can exploit it much better

UAC Atlantica feels like 2 normal length levels merged into one

honestly all the tag 1 levels feel like two levels merged into one

if i were to divide the tag 1 levels I'd do it like this:

1. UAC Atlantica
2. UAC Atlantica (Destroyed + Underwater area)
3. Blood Swamps (starter area + Right Trail)
4. Blood Swamps (Left Trail + Cube boss fight)
5. The Holt (Forest)
6. The Holt (Luminarium)

there doesn't exist any set keybindings that are the most optimal

it depends on the player, and you can reach the highest level of quick swaps with virtually any binds, but obviously some binds are better

if you charge the dblade in the air or bhop it becomes the second best mod in the game (meathook is best), because you negate the movement pnealty and its DPS is crazy if you hit multiple enemies

longer distance glory kills rarely come in handy for me, same for longer staggers. If I fail to press the glory kill button or shoot demon in the already wide stagger state time window, it's on me

i might just have longer stagger state if im feeling like laying back a little

it comes most in handy when facing possesed super heavies i suppose, you really don't want them back up and running

and that one nonsensical cacodemon timed arena in Samurs boss, still never understood the point of that
