How do i switch accounts on Xbox doom eternal
I logged into the wrong account and have no progress and skins
I'm having serious issues on my game, it used to run at a consistent 110-120 fps, now it runs at 60-120 fps while dipping below 100 a lot. I removed all mods and the mod injector, even reinstalled it completely about 10 times, its installed on an ssd, and no other game on my steam library runs as bad as this, only doom eternal. I need serious help, if you guys could recommend some advice to fix it, or even reccomend a person or place to help me fix it because its gotten to the point where im genuinley clueless and have no idea what to do, and It might have to do something with my computer or something.
Does anyone know how to sign out of doom eternal

If not, I know another way. Simply create a new email for a new Microsoft account, then go on your new alt account on the Xbox and enter the correct Bethesda information logging into DOOM.

Hello! Just figured I'd get opinions/thoughts from people that know Eternal. I'm visually impaired and honestly a bit slow, spatial and depth awareness are funky... I do have experience with other shooters, however!(Classic Doom, a bit of Doom 2016, Borderlands, Risk of Rain 2, BioShock, a very small amount of Warframe)
Do you think I'd be able to play the game? I tend to play on easier/lower difficulty settings, if that affects anything. Seen a couple reviews, and the game looks really fun and interesting! But I do worry about managing different mechanics at once and spatial awareness.
Basically, do you think that a very casual, visually disadvantaged person like me could figure out and enjoy the game?
(Note, I do NOT own the game yet, and only have a Nintendo Switch. Using this as a sort of "Before You Buy" idea.)

I think on lower difficulty you should be fine, the game is generally easy on 2 first difficulty and very fun. But most importantly still depending on your taste
You could try play on im to young too die first then later can raise up difficulty in setting later
DE has some hilariously overdone visual effects (lots of camera shaking, bright flashes, and generally poor visual clarity at times, even for somebody with no impairments) so i'd look out for that, but the game does provide a couple options to tone most of it down
There 1 enemie might cause you some trouble too in around mid to late game but might get used to later on ( marauder) it require some reflex since you said you re abit slow
Marauders can be made extremely predictable though
For us yes , he probably needs sometime to get used to

Just play nightmare mode, thats what. Map layout is only important for un, for normal nightmare, you should focus on beating it. And keep beating it with minimal deaths. You can try making a new save slot and replay missions after you beat them if you think you died too much on them. General tips, you should have a good knowledge of quickswap combos and have specific combos or tactics for every specific enemy. And, move. Move everywhere. If you dont move, either you get one shotted by a plasma soldier or all the enemies group up in one area. Thats the thing, they have different code and different speeds, running around would allow for one to come at you while another doensnt because of differdnt behaviour

You wont regret it. Not one bit. I bought the game as a regular casual, yet now im desperately trying to beat ultra nightmare lmao. The easier difficulties are huge jumps from the harder ones, so dont worry about it being too hard. Its hard but fair
Bmaykers are supposed to be integrated in arenas, keeping low tabs on them whilst dealing with other threats and kill them if they open up

i'm partially colorblind myself and it helps a lot

people genuinely underrate eternal's environment and artstyle. I swear everyone says 2016 looks better because its darker but gamma is literally a thing that makes eternal both dark in contrast shadows whilst being vibrant and colourful
i could genuinely play the game on itytd wih raytracing on, gamma at 0.8, and take a buttload of photos
I like the artistic look of Doom Eternal more because it captures what classic Doom looked like with its touches of comedy and no horror.
I'd also say it's more unique, 2016 is just straight up basic AAA

Me and my friend were talking about this when we were discussing why we like eternal more than 2016. A big reason is the environments. They're done so well in eternal, earth is great, hell is awesome, argent D'Nur is also pretty great, mars exists. Everywhere feels unique and captures you. In 2016 however there's just mars, with it's dull orange, brown, and grey color palette, and hell. Hell also has a lot of orange and brown. A lot of the game feels the same, and there are so many mars levels that none really stand out. It just makes eternals atmosphere a lot better imo.
Doom 64 goes back to Mars then Hell again but it looks pretty different because it's Doom 64

What I meant is more about the setpieces, Doom II also had Facility and Hell, but it also had stuffs like Library, City, Fortress, etc
Even if you revisit places on eternal it generally looks different too

and while Doom II does have maps with weird gameplay design like M13 Downtown, the important thing I'm pointing out here is that the levels feel different
true. the biggest difference was location honestly. with different locations and areas, they easily had the freedom to do whatever the fuck they wanted. if it wasnt for locations, i mean, look at all the sentinel locations. they look similar, not in a bad way but similar because theyre practically the same 'location'. which is exactly why the different locations in missions in the game allow devs to be more diverse i guess
So it's more of a level design thing than a level aesthetic thing
I would say sent Prime and world spear look wildly different then the other ones

I'm not sure I follow, the aesthetic really just transitions from Earth's facilities to Hell's castles over the course of the entire game
Doom Eternal (haven't played it yet but I will once I finish 2016) does seem to have much more varied environments

I would disagree because in eternal almost every level looks different to me. No matter the location. I agree with Luci on TN and exultia feeling pretty similar, but other than that the Argent D'Nur levels all feel unique and different. You're captured again in their atmosphere. Whereas in 2016 every time I'm on mars it just feels the same to me. It only really feels different to me in hell, and even then, it's still pretty similar compared to how different eternals locations are from one another.
Being honest I think it was just so 2016 and eternal would both have the same amount of levels. (13)

I guess what I'm trying to say here is that a lot of Doom 2 levels have this "design landmarks" that makes it easily distinguishable from other levels at first glance, and the first Doom just doesn't really have that for the most part

Ok no I do agree with that though, Doom did have rather generic levels that aren't very distinguishable from one another. Doom II also does that but it's not blatant that time around.
All I'm saying is Doom Eternal manages not to do that but it does so in a way that makes you forget it's a Doom game at times
Personally I feel like that comes down to how people have different interpretations on what a "Doom game" should be 🤔
Since a lot of the classic Doom games' looks were due to technical limitations, it means that for both players and developers, it's up to them to fill in the blanks with their imagination
and everyone had different ideas on what to fill those blanks with.

Doom 2016 mostly decided to stick with the "Facilty" and "Hell" aesthetic, but Eternal thinks differently and says "there's definitely gotta be more to this" and diversifies the setpieces way more
so we get stuffs like Cultist Base, Urdak, The World Spear, etc.
Yeah I understand that but I don't think it's valid to say Doom 2016's environments are "basic AAA" when it decided to simply double down on what Doom 1993 already established
Oh yeah I don't think basic AAA is the most precise way to describe it, but I assume it kind of stems from a fatigue of the AAA FPS games scene

Vega core is the only memorable mars level imo. My favorite level in terms of aesthetic is Kadingir Sanctum though.
For Hell, I like Titan's Realm the most just because of that epic setpiece at the entrance

I like Kadingir because of the aesthetic like I said, and the story going on in it. Samuel going to hell for the sarcophagus and shit, and the slayers tombs just add more and more.
To me that level easily has the best atmosphere in the game.
how are you supposed to deal with possessed archviles? cuz I keep dying to the two possessed archviles in the Immora slaughter map
Use Lock-On Rockets to them when they are in a stand-still animation
i.e. their summoning pose or whatnot
And sometimes they just stand still for the whole time and eats your rockets like it's breakfast

I think the Classic Doom games are fun, but 2016 is the first Doom game that I enjoyed a lot all the way through

Nope, they can't be frozen or faltered
The only way for you to Crowd Control a Possessed Demon is by using the Microwave Beam on them

Also, you can kind of freeze them... but you have to freeze them before they get possesed but after they get spawned in which is a few ms at best
I still remember when I first saw The World Spear in the trailers, the sheer size of the setpiece just made my jaw drop

The Urdak level specifically still instills some awe in me.
I'm also a very big fan of a lot of TAG's environments. The Atlantica base, the Holt, the World Spear, and Immora are all visual treats.

It's an area from Argent D'Nur, the planet, that was absorbed into Hell. Likely the Elemental Sepulchre.

You can quickswitch on console, it's just a little more difficult since you usually have to set them up before you start

Pull out one weapon you want to quickswitch with, then pull out the other. Then you can shoot a weapon and just press the weapon wheel button instead of holding it and it will bring out your other weapon. Then shoot that one and switch again. Then repeat.

You can, but you'll probably have to switch the binding of crucible and frag/ice bomb toggle to do it.

you can ditch Mission Info, Weapon Mod and L3 for bindings, those are useless IMO, I also dont use crucible nor switch grenades, so thats 2 more weapon binds but thats my playstyle, might not be good for some
I definetely recommend that you find keybinds that fits you and then learn quick switching, quick switching is a complete game changer
i like using crucible so i’m probably gonna keep it, i like to switch combat shotguns mods so ill keep that, plus the wave and precision bolt for ballista, and idk about grenade switch i’ll see later, interesting binds btw
Aren't you a battlemode player though? So I don't really think your playstyle would apply to many people
yes I am, practicing with the limitations of Battlemode made me a better player, got back to campaign and finished UN easily, now campaign is boring for me lol
the only crutch that might affect campaing players are the ice bombs and crucible/hammer, those are vvery helpful but it's more fun restacking without those crutch weapons FOR ME

Get some custom keybinds so you can quick switch fast, use the meathook a lot, be spatialy aware, be efficient with ammo, practice using every part of your arsenal and perhaps most important: just play the game a lot so you get a feeling for it

you can beat the game with only the shotgun too but I wouldn't consider that a "tip" for a new player
it's funny how in pretty much the only part of the game where full auto is useful (the very beginning), it's still not good because you don't have fast weapon swaps yet

the statistic of the Doom Eternal Chaingun being underrated is innacurate, most people believe the chaingun to be very strong. Chaingundownplayer Georg, who constantly claims it's weak and needs buffs, was an outlier and should not have been counted
it's not even the mastery, like. In the early game it's useful because you don't have many good weapons so it's your best way of getting some good DPS and killing heavies, but you wanna keep the sticky bomb on you for cacos or literally any other situation and since you don't have the faster swapping perk yet that majorly hurts its utility
the soonest you can unlock the fast swap is Cultist Base... which is also when you unlock the SSG
so you have about like, half a mission where full auto is actually useful for its own sake lol

i'm not sure that they're forced to miss, it feels more like the ai's predictive aim just gets messed up enough for movement to be the strongest option
there's a sweet spot where the ai's line of sight is either perpendicular or at a steep angle relative to your movement direction, that's where most misses occur
if the ai is at a shallow angle or directly behind or in front of you, obviously the forced miss system doesn't work
mancubus goo balls have insane accuracy for some reason, I’ve literally gotten sniped by them midair sometimes
also, hilarious meta tactic: intentionally turning your back to unavoidable damage

there is also a small issue where if you shoot him the frame he attacks, he fully puts out the green eye vfx yet blocks your shot

landing those skips all in one level is hard enough but then you have smaller whiffs you can make like fodder not cooperating with being cleared because they’re running away or something

The world spear in this run isn’t my FASTEST but it’s most certainly my cleanest
reclaimed earth all the way, the tricks are fun to pull off and the only real hitch of the run is the final arena is hella rng
Yeah it was definitely very clean. Definitely some interesting strats in the run, I find it weird that the "restricted" catagory allows skips where you literally just exit and enter the level to despawn enemies, but fair enough. You had great tech all run, and I didn't really notice any major mess ups besides maybe the end of revenant punchboost. I think my favorite thing the run does is just spawnkilling the possessed arachbro, like bro didn't even stand a chance lmao.
I think I've watched your reclaimed earth actually, and yeah it did seem like the most fun part of the run.

If the run just did the fight then the runners have to get good at it and develop a strategy, cool. But just reloading checkpoint to despawn enemies is neither a cool skip nor interesting in any way to me, it just feels sorta lame

well I do an ultra nightmare run of this where it’s the same thing except no checkpoint reloads, cuz it’s ultra nightmare, immora is boring because of enemy capping i have to spend extra time just killing enemies, like not even required encounters mind you, have to go out of my way to kill enemies you can just walk past in a normal run

enemy capping, doom eternal has an entity limit of 32, if you exceed that, enemy won’t spawn all in one wave like they usually do, or just won’t spawn at all if the capping is exceptionally bad, so you need to kill those enemies because they don’t despawn normally for some reason

everything that doesn’t spawn upon progression like normal goes towards the enemy cap limit
the only checkpoint reload that actually skips an encounter is the one in world spear for the quad damage encounter, everything else is because progression fucks up if you don’t, or because of enemy capping
if enemy capping alone wasn’t an issue, there would only be three checkpoint reloads in the entire run

Learn the rythme of the platforms, there's a pattern for how they move if I remember correctly. I also tried to remember when the pain elements would spawn and then arbalest them immediately. You could even save chainsaw pips to help even further
they die easy with albalest and ssg, it’s just irritating

Dont use your weapon points. Save them for the 6 point upgrade for lob and the rest for ssg so you can get flaming hook

Pb is crucial in every quickswap combo. Only exception is ssg ballista i guess. You gotta have specific combos for specific demons to preserve ammo and deal with them more consistently

yea, fast swap effect, another thing I think you could practice if you want ( though it’s not highly practical ) is weapon mod button, fire button, weapon mod button, which should make it lock on faster without external FSE

Not too difficult to be honest, after you practice for a while and start to integrate it in gameplay, it becomes second nature

theoretically
the Unmaykr does 3 times the damage per ammo on a tyrant, assuming point-blank BFG shots and that you hit every one of the Unmaykr's projectiles
except
that's not gonna happen
because you need to be pretty much point blank to hit every one of the Unmaykr's balls (not safe), and... obviously the same applies to hitting a point-blank BFG shot
except unlike the Unmaykr you actually want some distance with the BFG, with more travel time it will do more damage with its tendrils
From a decently close distance the Unmaykr might possibly still out-damage the BFG in terms of efficiency (haven't run any numbers, just guessing), but also bear in mind this requires you to be totally focused on this one enemy and not the many that are probably surrounding you
meanwhile the BFG just takes like a second to charge up and shoot, does just a fuck ton of damage instantly, and also has the bonus of killing everything else in the area while it's at it.
well, the BFG Can clear entire rooms of enemies with up to 6000 health with relative ease, given the tendril gets enough distance
so an enemy like an archvile would take exactly 10 unmaykr shots to kill, by having 3 archviles exist, you’ve already equaled the playing field of the weapons, not the mention the BFG keeps enemies in a perpetual falter while dealing it’s tendril damage
why does literally every superheavy take extra damage from the BFG

All Milestones is a bit of a waste of time owing to the Platinum-esque Milestone having very borked tracking.
Case in point its tracking for me is 53/80 despite my total Milestone count being 127/133.
All base campaign Milestones would probably be worthwhile though ("TAG" Milestones are just 100% + UN clear and Horde Milestones iirc are mainly just a grind).

horde milestones are in fact a grind since you can get the nightmare completion in 15 minutes if you avoid bonuses
the coins take about 3 horde runs since theres a total of about 147 coins in horde
the bounties are dependent on both rng and skill
