The biggest tip I can give you is demon spawns and self awareness. Before you enter a level, open a video, memorise where every demon spawn. Next put them on a hierarchy on which ones to focus your attention on. Always priorities the cacodemons in lower levels. As you get past cultist you’ll get better at doing it naturally. Self awareness is another good tip. Never fully focus on what is in front of you, always be aware of what could be on your 6. Of course as I said with knowledge of demon spawns it will help with your self awareness.

I personally bind all the weapon keys to the keys surrounding WASD.

Then I've got Dash, melee, and equipment launcher bound on my mouse's side keys.

Dude I still play 2016 to this day. It may not be as versatile of an experience as Eternal but it's such a fun game. FYI I still dial back the difficulty to ultra violence, which is more comparable to nightmare in eternal. I think nightmare in 2016 is tuned just a smidge on the difficult side.

The humans in the Mars Core level are employed by the UAC. The UAC has been mostly taken over by the Cultist Branch, which is run by Deag Ranak and Hell, but there's a small subsection of it - the Mars branch - that remains free of Cultist control. The UAC presumably holds a grudge against the Slayer for the events of Doom 2016.

When the one scientist notes that "Corporate wants us to let them in!? Why!?", that seems to be an implication that the Cultists have infiltrated whoever the Mars branch is reporting to.

I just beat Doom Eternal. Very scary game, I must have had at least 500 heart attacks while playing. I can see why people would prefer Eternal but honestly I thought 2016 was better. Part 1) knowledge of the game: knowing weaknesses of every enemy and the spawn locations in every mission

3) speedrunning: expert speedrunners are a whole different breed

Edit: Its been 3 days now and nobody has still helped me with my probIem. Just bought the doom eternal deluxe edition. It said I needed to redeem it through an asian acc such as singapore, thailand and etc.. Luckily I already had a singapore account to begin with. I redeemed the code, and waited for the update to finish. 3 hours later I was greeted by skins such as the demonic slayer skin and more, the only problem was I didnt have access to the dlc, it said that I needed to PAY for me to play it even tho I already entered the code. I restarted my doom eternal and after that the dlc worked. Played for a bit and logged of for bout 2 hours. Opened my ps4 and when I came back it said that I need to buy the dlc in order to access, I was confused, I had a bethesda acc, I have the skins for the deluxe bundle yet I dont have the 2 dlcs. Idk what to do at this point ( I bought the physical version btw ). Im confused and I am asking for someone to help me with my problem. (Info I think I learned). This might be a bit confusing tho, the things is, its written on a redeemable code, if you input this code, it gives you the dlc. Most games it makes you download the dlc so you can redownload again later. Basicaly, after inputting a code it says "code has been redeemed" and after a few minutes you will see the dlc on the acc your on, i played the dlc for a couple of mins to check if it was working and it did. Dropped the controller and closed the application, I went to the menu screen before I exited btw. When I went back, my dlc was gone. I think the game has forgotten to save my dlc, unfortunately you cant redownload it cause there is no option too.

Hey guys, has anyone been experiencing crashes lately when attempting to enter battle mode pre match screens? Cause it keeps happening to me lately all of the sudden, I was doing fine before but now it always crashes whenever I try to get transferred to the character select screen. I tried reinstalling the game, I tried updating all my drivers, I tried seeing if my graphics card is up to date and I even tried verifying the game files but nothing works, just wondering if anyone has been having the same issues. I don't have any mods on so I wonder what could be causing it.
