Sure, but if it's your first experience with doom (I see a lot of people suggest gzdoom unfortunately) you may not know what those settings would be under
I think an easy/simple fix for all this is just have a few presets.
Have a classic preset that makes gzdoom look as close to something like chocolate as you can get
Modern that adds stuff like mouselook, the colored lighting under pickups, the redone hud
Maybe a mix where it looks like classic but has stuff like software mouselook and the alt hud
That way people can more easily change the specifics they want and quickly (like using classic and all you want changed is the hud, for example)
