I love MEE6 because it provides functionality in a way that integrates seamlessly into Discord by allowing me to provide additional features without a bunch of pinned URLs and varied bot solutions scattered about. It's because of this that I don't think that the UX for Levels is complimentary to the rest of MEE6 platform. I understand why MEE6 sends URLs to access leaderboards, but I think it would be useful to make some of this data accessible either through custom command variables, or via public API (the latter being unlikely for obvious reasons). If it were accessible via the former, I could write custom commands for custom levels date-ranges, embedded leaderboards, and many other useful features.

Economy plugin suggestions:

• If-Then for items in the economy plugin. For example the ability to make two items used with one another to create an effect. (User buys item A: golden chest, User buys item B: golden key, User unlocks chest to obtain chance at 20 gold coins up to 1000 gold coins)
• Increase shop price limit.
• Allow for currency to be deducted as punishment or alongside it. For example: User is muted, remove 100 coins.
• Allow for currency rewards based on currently not supported actions. (Went Live, Minutes in voice channels, etc.)
• Allow for videos or recordings to be played as an item is used or opened
  -Allow variables for economy plugin games to be changed, such as higher max bets, rewards, and losses in the current state the gambling maximums, and rewards are okay but really we should be able to change them.
  Music plugin suggestions:
  -Fix the playback interruption issue (i do not mean any type of disrespect as i know this reads in a kind of poor light, and im sure the issue is complex) or make a more detailed announcement as to why it has continued for so long.

I am proposing that there be a way to STOP XP for the MEMBER rather than the role. I experience sometimes when a member gets an additional role when he's not supposed to.

I know you have a lot on your plate, but I think it would be very cool to be able to automatically distribute coins specifically gated to certain channels. so that they can claim their coins in one channel, but that's different than coins in another channel. We are running a gaming server and are doing monthly updates. Thar are all automated, and the only manual labor right now is the messages we send out once its done.
It would be nice to have a template and an API that we could use for example like: "Use template A, with message B" and send it when the script calls for that action to be taken.

sorry to continue this, I just did some testing as as far as I can see the first level up msg follows the same setting as the rest of the level up msgs. So if a server has the current channel option selected and then user joins the server, sends a few msgs to level up, then that first level up msg gets sent to the channel and not the users DMs so if your members were getting DMs on their first level up then your toggle must have been set to Private Message (the default is current channel)

are you sure you have your permissions correct? from my testing ppl with perms to use /unban can use the button, if they don't have that perm then they can't use the button unless they are one of these 3:

A admin of the server - this bypass's the Moderation plugin moderator roles and subsequently command restrictions
A owner of the server - this bypass's being Admin of the server and subsequently the Moderation plugin moderator roles and command restrictions

ah okay I see what you mean now, that just how Mee6's permission hierarchy works tho. it's a bit like giving a member a muted role so they can't send msgs and then giving them a a role with admin perms, the role with admin perms will allow them to talk as it bypass's the perms of the other roles. in this example the muted role being the command restrictions and the admin role being the moderation plugin moderator roles

If you disable a command via the dashboard, that can be used in the temporary voice channels such as those in the screenshot here, it shouldn't then appear on the embedded command list that the bot posts when the text room is opened.

For example, I have "/voice-lock & /voice-unlock" disabled, as when you lock and then unlock a room that has restrictions on who can join (such as verified 18+), unlocking the room removes those restrictions and allows anyone to join, however the command is still listed and it causes confusion for those thinking they can still use it.

In response to the new "Text chat for voice channels" rolling out on "large" servers (cf. screenshot included), it would be interesting to have those properly included in Mee6's system.

This would include:

• Adding the voice channels in the text channel dropdowns, for example
  -> Impacted modules are all modules with a "text channel" UI selector and multiselector component, which should include voice channels. So pretty much all modules.
• Removing the twin channel for temporary voice channels, or tweaking it to only keep the permission system
  -> Impacted module is "Temporary Channels"

Side note: as a user, I would absolutely love an additional "include voice channel text chat" checkbox next the text channel selector & multiselect component for fast configuration. That would be a great quality of life feature.

Agreed that it would be more of a Discord request, and what you sent is the closest to what it gets. However, this allows any user to invite any number of people they want (or how many, depending on the 'Max Number of Uses' option. What I was talking about, was allowing each user to be able to get a custom link to only be able to invite x amount of new users. Say 100 users can each request a link (which is custom to them), and can only be used to invite x users by them. As soon as they have invited x users, the link expires.

What could/should be added by discord is a way for owners and admins to set the default settings for invite links, but you have to suggest that to https://support.discord.com/hc/en-us/community/topics not to Mee6 suggestions, Mee6 just uses the Discord ecosystem to provide a service but Mee6 is not a part of Discord itself

mee6 needs to be able to refuse use of slash commands regardless of the permission a user has within discord to use them, and instead display a message "this command has been disabled in this channel by server moderators"

currently you can use slash commands for any of mee6 functions in any channel regardless of the permission settings in the dashboard, because the dashboard does not save the channel specific restrictions for slash commands, only regular prefix commands.

this is a huge issue. in mee6 dashboard currently if you set a command to not be able to be used it still can be via slash commands unless explicitly disabled from the discord integrations menu. And it WILL WORK.

Hello, new user here. Got a little frustrated trying to use the /birthday set of commands.

As an American, I automatically tried using the Month-Day-Year syntax after the /remember-birthday command, with variations of symbols in between the numbers (-, /, etc...).

Then I tried /help birthdays, and that was no help either (see 1st screenshot).

Which led me to this support server. Where I found that using the /birthday command (before setting up a birthday for your account) will give you the correct syntax of Year-Month-Day (see 2nd screenshot).

Temporary roles is a make or break feature for a lot of people, myself included, in using the economy plugin. When I first saw the plugin this is the use I was excited to get from it but couldn't. Having purchases that offer benefits on a temporary basis increases community engagement and gives a sense of purpose to the Economy feature outside of "one-and-done" earning what you want in a server. Most current uses for Economy can already be accomplished through leveling. This would set the plugin apart and give it a unique purpose among MEE6 plugins.

Hi guys for a suggestion I have:

Add a "remove all members" button in the roles section so we can remove all members from a specific role.

why:
The reason I think this can be good is that there are times where we may want to give out a temporary role and then cull the members and then give it out again. I @ the "insert parent role" to then issue the "insert child role". Delete and rinse and repeat. This works really effectively because it issues roles so then I can @ the appropriate people for that day only. The reason I would not delete the role completely and re-add it is because it's tied to the reaction embed and I would have to tinker with that everytime**. The embed feature is a bit buggy already ( text does not save sometimes after clicking save) so I felt this would be easier. I hope this is something other people are interested too. Tata

Additional idea for this: An almost automatic support where the user makes selections for his problem and the bot answers it.
In the dashboard you can determine for yourself which answers and choices you can make.

2. Shop Extension
So that you need a special role for certain items in order to be able to buy them and or that you can create several shops for certain roles.
E.g. a shop for people with a VIP role, a shop for people with a community role, etc.

3. Economic expansion
That you can set yourself how much you can get through the minigames and through !daily and !work. So a minimum amount and a maximum amount and or that you can set to what percentage you get it.

4. More possibilities with Custom Commands
So that you can use custom commands e.g. you can set that you get coins or something. E.g. for a 2nd !daily command for people with a VIP role. So that you have more choices and can do more.

5. Role specific cooldown for channels/cooldown plugin
So that you can set the e.g. someone with a VIP role has to wait 2 hours before they can write again and someone with a standard role has to wait 6 hours before they can write again.

1 - I have a bunch of reminders set on the timers. They are all set to appear every 12 hours. But i wanted the messages to be spread during the day. So, as i don't have the possibility of choosing which is the time for each of them, they end up spamming a lot of important messages 😢 . If we could at least choose the "begining time" it would totally solve it!

2 - I have the Mee6 premium, and it is frustrating that I need to use free Dyno to schedule messages. We have some specific events in our server, with specific days and hours, and I need to schedule reminders for the community. So if you could add the tool where I can schedule for a specific day and time, it would be perfect!

Not sure what to class this suggestion as perhaps part of Economy/games.

Add a feature where we can add random pictures that can appear in selected channels at random and allow people to claim it by writing what the picture is, for example let’s say a picture of an apple appears you would type -apple or whatever prefix you set of course and then whoever types it first gets to claim it and this can tie into a reward system with some images having a smaller % chance to appear and we should be able to adjust how often these images can appear and what channel.

This could also be turned into a collection game by creating 3-4 sets and when someone is able to fill a set out they win whatever rewards set, for example a month of nitro or a steam game or custom name colour on discord or anything really.

I would love to have a way to set up reaction templates for multiple reactions (at least 20). Most team games require point and so those of us that manage those teams need to collect quotes.
As it stands now, I create a “reaction roles” message and have to select 18 reactions each time (once a week).
Also a way to display in the message the names of each person that selected each reaction in the message excluding the bot. That way I have an instant list to quickly review and make decisions on.

Add thread management for moderation, as there is a image/video/command only limitation for channels. The rule for deleting messages in the channel itself applies to the threads in the channel as well.

So for instance, having a image/video channel, the Bot would auto create threads with customizable name of the thread on the dashboard or a variable like {user}'s Thread or a field we can set our own title. Currently only image/video/commands applies to threads in the channel so people are getting frustrated at the fact they can only use emoji reactions which is great for server owners but is a terrible user experience. Or create a auto thread management module, so even if people can not create comment threads the bot will make it for them and have an option to apply rules of only have image/video/command apply to threads.
