So a bit of a random suggestion but maybe let ppl pick x amount of features that they want to use. for instance of a user doesn't use the levels plugin they could disable it which would let them enable a plugin of their choice from the set of premium plugins. Maybe users can pick 5 plugins to get for free and if they want more then they either have to disable one to disable a different plugin or they have to pay for premium. This could get around the fact that ppl no longer get YT and twitch plugins for free.

It would be really beneficial if we could stick a message to a channel. For example, say there was a message from an admin currently posted, when I reply, it would automatically move the admin message back down to the bottom, so that its always visible as the most recent message. This could be an essential tool for things like downtime, or special announcements, or even support channels where people need to follow a specific format. That way, the 'sticky message' essentially never gets lost in all of the other messages. It'd also be sweet if this could be tied into the embed functionality, so we have near styling options. Totally worth being a premium benefit too, I think it'd attract a lot of new premium members to Mee6.

Edit: Upon rereading a few times, I think I get what you're saying, but it isn't possible unless if you're the one posting it since the bot cannot delete and repost things you said. At best with some unique programming you could maybe have the bot say something, then every time someone responds it deletes the old message and reposts, but I feel like that would probably be seen as a huge potential for spam - plus it'd probably also be considered an autoresponse function since it's acting without a command trigger, and those requests are consistently denied.

I feel bad for servers that have to do that, but know that it's a reality for many. My server gets new people all the time who just signed up and find us, and the idea of removing them immediately just because they're new is troublesome. It'd save us from some trolls, certainly, but it'd also "save" us from worthwhile members too.

Having problems muting someone/they aren't muted? Check the following

Prerequisites:

• Moderator plugin is enabled
• !mute command isn't disabled
• Bot has role with Manage Roles and Manage Channels permissions
• Muted role is under MEE6 role
• You're trying to mute someone using !mute @mention reason, otherwise it will not work

If user got Muted role but still can talk means there's issue with your channel permissions

Users can't locally or globally opt out of xp notifications if they don't care about them. They're annoying and serve little to no purpose on most servers that have the xp thing turned on

Users should be able to discover something about the bot via DMing it, even if the bot just says "hey go to this site for more info" having it black hole attempts at trying to understand how to interact feels bad.

The XP thing doesn't bother saying what server you got the level up in. You have to correlate it with where you were posting at the time or what level you were on that server. Also you can't easily see which servers were causing you spam via MEE6 because of this. It should include the server name.

All of these cases have been made for it in the past. For streamers they want subs to get more XP. For people with servers getting boosted, they want them to get more XP. All the possible scenarios have been explained when requesting in the past and it's been declined. If the devs change their mind, great, but it's not denied because they don't understand how people would use it in an ideal situation, it's denied because of how blatant abuse would definitely be (and probably other reasons too).

I have a few suggestions for new features to the bot and I will detail them below. You can contact me for further details if you want to.

1. Allow mee6 to post to channels with the announcement channel setting enabled. useful for !announce custom commands.

2. I think mee6 should have a addition to the reaction roles plugin or custom command plugin, which gives users a role automatically if they receive a specified role. I know other bots such as Atlas and YAGPDB which do this and I'm sure there are others that do it as well. Not sure if this sort of falls under auto responders/role which i know has been denied b4.

3. Add a command to add emojis to the server. say you have nitro and there's a emoji you want on your server you could do !addemoji followed by the emoji and it will add it to the servers emoji list.

4. It would be nice to have a command to tell you how many servers your in, maybe it could be part of !user-info

5. Add embed option to the welcome plugin msgs specifically the leave msgs

6. Allow role rewards to be set to both remove previous rewards and stack previous rewards, at least for one or two role rewards

7. Add in a leader-board embed option to link the leader-board to a website or reedit page

8. Add in a timezone converter so if someone says a msg like lets play at 8pm mee6 will react to the msg and if ppl use the reaction the bot can tell them what 8pm would be in their timezone. this timezone converter could be a separate feature and the birthday plugin could just hook into it to get a users timezone info if it needs that information for something such as sending the birthday message at a time specified by the user at the time in their timezone.

9. Add VCs to the ignored channel list.

10. Allow users to choose if they want to use image links (such as imgur, GDrive, ODrive) or attach images (like it is now) to embeds.

11. Add a current date feature to statistics to show the current date

Music Player Suggestion:

Have a physical player, like have a message that shows the current song playing, and have reactions that will play/pause/next/previous/stop

And keep it the same message not sending a new one each time the song changes

This will be especially helpful for those who have music channels in their servers

Because reactions aren't commands? Reactions are reactions, and they're not limited by role. Commands are.

You could lock down the whole channel where the embedded player you're describing shows, so only people you want to control it can see it, but that would be very bad for most other servers who don't use any setup like that.

Apologies for any confusion then, let me restate. Mee6 currently has no ability to restrict reactions by roles, which is yet another request. So for this request for a music controller to be made, another request would have to simultaneously be fulfilled as well, so it's not standalone but possible with multiple changes, not just one.

Lots of Discord have a #voice-text channel, for those who are a part of the voice channel and listening but can not speak for whatever reason (Bad Mic, Not comfortable, among other reasons)

When you join a voice channel, MEE6 would give you a custom voice text role (that you created) and it will permit users to speak in a #voice-text channel. Once you leave the voice channel, the role will be removed, no longer allowing you to speak in the #voice-text channel.

The ability to take away roles when muting a user (to avoid role permission clashes with the mute role and other roles a user could have).

Ideas on Implementation

• In the online dashboard, you can select roles to remove when someone is muted.
• You could also config the command to look something like this if you need to revoke a role temporarily with the mute, like !tempmute 1d {user} {role} to mute someone while also removing the role you mentioned.
• You can have a limit on how many roles can be removed at once (maybe a maximum of 5 or something like that)
