Cuz if you are you can already do that.
by having a command cooldown set per user or per server, you can cause the command to become unresponsive. this works by allowing the command to be used in this example, once every 2 hours for each user. because "Bot Replies With" is an action, if the command is valid it will post the response. There will be no "reply" because the reply is an action and not a pre-generated message. If the command is on cooldown it would generally send a message saying "You have to wait x [time] to use this command" -- but in this case it will simply not respond.
the command usage probably won't be deleted tho, as the bot does not respond, and you are not allowed to use the command so it treats it as invalid

Only custom responses will work this way. All moderator and level commands are pre-generated messages. That is the criteria for "reply"

Hmm... Maybe a way to clear out messages using !clear but in addition to the message count, maybe add a time frame too? So like !clear 10m would clear the last 10 minutes of messages in that channel. It could be useful if a server was raided and you wanted to clear their spam but didn't want to clear conversations beforehand. The computing power needed to simply run such a bot is immense, and the resources in terms of server rentage is big, which we pay out of our own pocket.
Making the Role Rewards a premium feature is not as a cash grab, but as an attempt of simply keeping the bot online.

For old servers that added MEE6 BEFORE 9/1/19 to their server role-rewards are free.
For new servers that only recently added MEE6 you will need premium.
We made this change because MEE6 takes a lot of time, maintenance and development, and this is not free.
Premium helps us to support MEE6 and to keep the MEE6 dream going, without it, there wouldnt be a MEE6, as you can't run bots like this for free, its not possible.
We try to keep as much as possible of MEE6 free but this is just not possible.

Low key backing that suggestion up. Have it set so whoever has access to mee6 can grant xp tokens to members. That way servers can host giveaways with mee6 xp tokens or have tournaments in games and whoever wins 1,2,3rd place gets said amount of xp tokens to redeem as a reward. I’ve personally had this idea for a few months and think it would raise MEE6 even more then it already is. Disagree on the automated statements of not being worth the time as if you make a public vote on it, I’m willing to bet majority would like it added aswell as most servers use MEE6 for the ranking system apon other uses.
Maybe give it a chance? Or throw a public vote 🗳️ as the saying goes, the customers always right (for the people voting if it’s worth it to add or not)

I understand BUT if perhaps you set it as a premium feature, and have a set rule that only so many tokens can be made a week, it will limit abuse and create an amazing feature added on to an already amazing feature.
For say 7Tokens a week, each token gives you 1 level. That’s max limit a week, you can’t abuse 7 levels every 7 days AND it still allows users and owners to make there server more fun while using the one and only mee6 bot “not sponsored 🤣”

Hi All, I would like to see an option for customised achievable rank card banners, for example 1st place can unlocks the server banner in gold, 2nd in silver etc. and have banners for the unlocked roles so in my server I have 'Frequent Members' Role, I would like to be able to set a banner to anyone that achieves this role, but also set default banners for other roles that are not achievable so I can have seperate banners for my Admin and Moderators.
I think also the ability to turn of customisable rank cards for all the server would be good. I know this is a source of income for the bot, so I propose that these features be chargeable feature-, as a ball park say it costs an extra $10 a year to turn block the ability for users to customise there rank card and force them to use the server rank card, and then an additional $10 a year for role based cards, or maybe a one off charge for each additional card created.

Disable specific phrases from getting xp/Customize xp sentence length
My top member on the leaderboard got where he is today and usually he just responds with "lol" or just one worded replies. I would like it if xp would be given out to replies that actually contribute to conversation. Or at least make it so you can customize how many words someone has to say in a sentence to gain xp.
I'm not a bot developer so I don't know how easy or hard this will be but I think it would get great help to stop people from being lazy about xp.

Make a command for Xp reset or make a search tab in mee6's website cause it doesn't help scrolling to reset someone's xp
( level 10 for example is #8000 on our server so no one would want to scroll all that to punish someone )

a moderation addon to stop raiding from bots. if a user is joining a server multiple times with the same ip in a certain amount of time the channels become locked for all accounts connected to that ip, and need an extra step of verification. or something like it automatically pings staff and locks the channel if many people are joining at once aka too many welcome messages are being sent

I would like to see a better pruning system. I give roles to all my members. I want to prune, role or not, if there has been no activity in my channel for X days (90) and not just whether they've used discord or not. If this were a premium feature, I'd definitely go premium as well. I guess some people like having the huge numbers and don't care, so it might not be as important to others. If MEE6 has something like that already, I guess I've missed it. 🙂 And great tool! thanks for it!

I know this is really a strange thing to suggest. Very many people all the time are very confused about Moderator Roles. is it possible to Add this string to the website for Moderator Roles to the Dashboard with the remainder of the Moderater Roles Descriptions?
