that and i can reset xp so if it is going to be a sandbox all of that should be gone. should be fine if the xp isnt giving anything of value. so far from what i have seen is that the system gives roles for that xp which the admins could do anyways
i was just getting annoyed that i had to turn off all channels and put it to. 3x xp to test stuff and then reset everyone's xp once i had all the notifications working. plus i wanted to test how long it would take for someone to acquire said role

The computing power needed to simply run such a bot is immense, and the resources in terms of server rentage is big, which we pay out of our own pocket.
Making the Role Rewards a premium feature is not as a cash grab, but as an attempt of simply keeping the bot online.
Role-rewards
For old servers that added MEE6 BEFORE 9/1/19 to their server role-rewards are free.
For new servers that only recently added MEE6 you will need premium.
We made this change because MEE6 takes a lot of time, maintenance and development, and this is not free.
Premium helps us to support MEE6 and to keep the MEE6 dream going, without it, there wouldnt be a MEE6, as you can't run bots like this for free, its not possible.
We try to keep as much as possible of MEE6 free but this is just not possible.

Part of the help plugin, there could be a !support command that DMs the user with the link to this server. Not everyone finds their way to the server by reading the support button on the header. And if it was on the list of commands, then people would be more likely to find the server and get the help they need

Allow an option for the mute command to remove all roles from a user when muted, and then readd them when they are unmuted. This can be toggled on and off through a command or the dashboard if possible. This would be good as it will stop users who are muted from changing their nickname because they have a role like Member which allows it.

Once a user reaches a range between an (x) amount messages -- (x) amount of messages they receive a role.
EXAMPLES:
Member joins and they have between 1 msg and 100 msg, they receive (x) role.
Member is very active, and now has between 101 and 300 msgs, they're removed from the previous role and gain (y) role.
Member is now well-known within the community, and has 301 to 500 msgs, they're removed from role (y) and gain role (z).
MEE6 could have 3 slots roles available for free, more for premium.
(I am aware MEE6 already has a leveling system, but I feel this is very different. I looked though the #┃upvote-suggestions and couldn't fin anything similar. I apologize if this idea or a similar idea was suggested already.)

for the first part, webhooks doesn't allow messages deletions, only creation
and second, we would need the discord message ID to tell them what message to delete, which means we need to either 1) store every post ID to get the right one when we need, which requires a giant new database, or 2) scroll in the channel until we find the corresponding message, which is nothing but an API abuse for discord

Posting here regarding help I received in support:
Myself and another user were confused why adding moderator roles didn't allow them to use commands. Neither of us realized you needed to click each individual command and assign the moderators back to those commands, individually (which is quite time consuming) in order for them to work. I would suggest clarifying this a bit more easily (e.g.: there is no edit or ⚙️ icon on commands to suggest you can edit them), or have the moderator roles inherit all the commands by default, and change editing the commands to allow you to override whether or not a specific mod role can use them. It feels more intuitive that way for me, personally.

I'm trying to clear a spammer's messages from my Discord channel. I typed:

It did not work.
I thought I had to type a number of messages, so I typed.

Instead, this command deleted the last ONE THOUSAND messages in my #general channel. This is clearly a bug.
Also, I actually typed 100 but my keyboard has a mechanical error where sometimes it double-types duplicate numbers. I would like to cap the !clear command to never deleting more than 100 messages so that this never happens again please.

The ability to edit (or remove mod names from) the ban DM sent to users
The ban message at the moment cannot be turned off, and tells the banned user who it was that banned them.
This could potentially be damaging to moderators/servers who are currently being attacked by trolls/doxxers/etc.
I suggest the option to remove the moderator's name/edit the message entirely, as is an option on reddit for the same reasons as stated above.
The lack of an option to turn this feature off/remove moderator names is making my mods question whether keeping the bot is worth it due to security reasons

Is it possible to rework the mute function to use the Server mute function through the API to mute some one in voice. The Mute role dosen't work for existing users in voice comms

ProBot has used the API to trigger the Server Mute command (it makes the red mute symbol come up) so it is possible through the existing API. I understand the current coding of MEE6 does not function this way - hence my post in suggestions.

Check out ProBot - the functionality is totally different that what you are describing. It does not create a mute role, it calls the Server Mute function as if you were to right click a user and click the red server mute

Increase the amount of reaction roles needed without premium, I only use the bot for leveling and I can’t even do that right because I need to pay for level roles which I can’t do because i’m not old enough to freely spend money 😂. How about bump it to 3-5 reaction roles without premium? Also, allow 1-3 level roles and then if you want more you need to buy premium, so we don’t need to use Atlas bot.

That’s why I said only a few level roles or reaction roles until there is a premium block. Premium being the way they earn their money is completely understandable but the amount of people who want to run a legit server while supporting MEE6 but can’t buy premium to have level roles are absurd, this is why many of my friends turn their backs and decide to go with Atlas Bot which is free, I want to keep supporting MEE6 but I don’t have my own money to spend on premium but I also must keep my server entertaining for everyone in it to enjoy chatting, which means getting roles when they level up while using the fun MEE6 bot.
Everything clearly isn’t free which is why this is only a suggestion and not a demand or anything that leans to the “begging for free stuff” side.
Atlas Bot does give free level roles and etc, basically using the same MEE6 features but in their own way to where more people can enjoy it without having to pay, but people have different ways of earning their money.

I have a couple suggestion. What about easter egg's. Setup like as rules - maybe 3 or so that are randomized. If user does action x and/or y z happens. Role increase, dumb wordplay, etc.. X or Y could be a text field or server action or ? - Oh and maybe a weather widget that shows a users location and weather, only when they invoke it.
Build the easter egg app with the bad word sensor and !invocation libraries, the weather one could maybe ride on weather.com or weather undergrounds wordpress widgets.
User would need to add a zipcode.

When using a text command such as "!hug! where it hugs a user. It would be great to fix so they need to mention a user in order for it to work. Otherwise the message will just be "@viscid quiver gave {1} a hug"
