• However, the ranking card image is not being posted along with the message. I would like the rank card to be automatically included every time someone levels up, but I cannot find any setting to enable this.

The /rank command works correctly and shows the card, but it does not post automatically on level up.

How do I know what it is? I even have one that i did before thay got published that adds a NEW role to everyone who logs on, but it doesn't ask seem to have them request the role. It is confusing

So I went to edit it and added more roles they could request from a drop down. But it doesnt seem to work. Or a list of roles. Either way. It wont publish.

So basically what I did was create from scratch role and I have a list of roles that if someone reacts to them with emoji I set, it will add the assigned role. I wrote a message and everything. Is there something I missed?

Getting IDs on Discord

Discord objects (user profile/server/messages) are composed of IDs.

Currently, there are two ways of getting those.

1st Method - With Developer Mode

1. From your computer

1.1 Click on your User Settings (\⚙ icon)

1.3 Right-click any object and copy its ID

2. From your mobile

2.1 Swipe to the right (to open the bottom menu)
2.2 Click on the bottom right tab (your profile)

Well, that can be caused by:
‣ You don't own any servers
‣ You don't have Administrator permissions or a MEE6 Additional Bot Master role on any server you're on
‣ You're logged on with the wrong account (the most common problem)

The third one can be fixed by following these steps:
1. Logout from Discord in your browser (not installed client or mobile app)
1.1 Open https://discord.com/channels/@me in your browser
1.2 Click on \⚙ icon (User Settings)
1.3 Scroll down, click Log Out and confirm the action

2. Logout from MEE6 website
2.1 Open https://mee6.xyz in the same browser
2.2 Click on the avatar icon in the upper right corner
2.3 Click Logout

3. Login using correct account
3.1 Open https://mee6.xyz and click Login button in the upper right corner
3.2 In the new window log in to Discord. After that, you will be redirected back to the MEE6 website
3.3 That's all! Now you're using the correct account and the MEE6 website lists servers where you can modify his settings

P.S. If you're on mobile and some elements are not visible, enable Desktop site mode or switch screen to Landscape (vertical) mode.

Automations are all in MEE6 Dashboard > Automations. Assuming it's an automation you indeed created.

Check all bot permissions are correct (see link below).
If you are using a custom bot (bot personaliser) then check the permissions for that in the custom bot server role (NOT the MEE6 role) as it has taken over from MEE6 (which can be kicked if you wish).

If you have removed the Administrator permission from your bot (custom bot if using that), give it back temporarily and see if it then works. If it does, it's a permission issue. If you then want to remove the Administrator permission you'll need to carefully check all bot permissions both in its server role and in all channel roles.

If you aren't an Admin and that server has MEE6 Premium, then an admin can add non-admin roles such as moderators in the MEE6 Dashboard as Additional Bot Master roles, after which you can then access it.

The role position, and permission are crucial to enable your bot to give roles.

* Visit your server settings -> roles

1. Locate the bot's role and bring it upper than the roles you're expecting MEE6 or Custom Bot to give out.

2. Open the role settings, on the same page, and ensure it has at least Manage Roles permission. Giving Administrator sorts this and many other issues you might have.

PS. Bear in mind that if you have invited a Custom Bot the role is different from MEE6 role, unless you have given a "generic bot's role".

I am not sure about the AI subscription (most likely you can transfer it) but Character subscription can't be transferred from the dashboard. You will have to speak to the staff regarding this. However, you can transfer your premium subscrpition from one server to another.

I have looked at FAQ and searched the internet. I could use some assitance. I am not sure if a setting I have done has stopped MEE6 from doing an introduction card/image. It was working and now it is not. I thought i stopped it with an automod but i turned that off. The bot has admin level privileges. Just checked that.

I would but i do not have access to do so. It is regarding the welcome and goodbye tab. I pay for premium and i have turned on the “send a welcome card when user joins server”. I have it turned on. I just tried to turn off and turn on. The card is not there anymore when a new person joins. Just the prefilled out text message like my above post is there.
The welcome card was showing up but now it is not. Just the text welcome is showing up. Spent a week trying different security settings and still welcome card is not showing up. Hope that makes a little more sense lol

Since the welcome text message is sending but the welcome card is not, here are a few things you can try checking:

• Make sure the Welcome plugin is enabled on your MEE6 dashboard and that it is placed inside an enabled category. If the category is disabled, the plugin will not run.
• Ensure the “Send a welcome card when a user joins” option is still enabled and saved on the dashboard.
• Double-check that MEE6 has Administrator permissions in your server, or at least the permissions required to send messages and embed links/images in the welcome channel.
• Confirm the channel selected for the welcome message still exists and that MEE6 has permission to send messages there.
• Try changing the welcome channel, saving, then switching it back to refresh the configuration.
• Make sure another bot is not overriding the welcome system or deleting the card message.

My AI character suddenly stopped working, even though it was working earlier. I haven’t changed any permissions, so it shouldn’t be a permissions issue. The only thing I changed was adjusting the bio and adding one fact to the character profile, and I don’t see why that should have broken it.

I’ve already tried disabling all channels, re-enabling them from the character’s installed page, turning the installed character off and back on, and removing then re-adding it. MEE6 has every permission enabled, its role is directly under the highest role, and it has access to every channel in my server (because that's what fixed it the first time it stopped working).

I just purchased MEE6 For Life and also got the one-month AI Characters subscription on Friday, only a few days ago. It worked, then stopped twice, which is honestly ridiculous.

I also reverted the bio change and removed the added fact to see if that would fix it, but that didn’t help either.

If anyone knows what could cause it to suddenly stop working, or if there’s anything else I should try, let me know.
