Getting IDs on Discord

Discord objects (user profile/server/messages) are composed of IDs.

Currently, there are two ways of getting those.

1st Method - With Developer Mode

1. From your computer

1.1 Click on your User Settings (\⚙ icon)
1.2 Click on Advanced and enable Developer Mode
1.3 Right-click any object and copy its ID

2. From your mobile

2.1 Swipe to the right (to open the bottom menu)
2.2 Click on the bottom right tab (your profile)
2.3 Click on Appearance/Behavior, enable the Developer mode
2.4 Long press or click on objects to grab their ID

From the screenshot that you provided, I can't read that, but from what it looks like, they used the "Dropdown" option. Though, to get some sort of "controller" the automation would be something that could so more actions, however, I can't then see how they got the dropdown from the automation

That’s fine. The old server owner left an upcoming bill from the ai portion of the mee6. We have submitted support tickets.

But are now considering. Me giving her the mee6 back so she can remove it.

I would move the mee6 to my test server then give her the bot. Then I would get the bot back to my current server where it came from and belongs. (If that makes sense)

The AI Characters should respond based on the characteristics, bio etc set up in the character screen. Might be worth tweaking those further if it's a character you created, or if it's an existing character using a remix of it and then editing the information, see if that makes it respond better.

MEE6 says I have no servers, but that's not true...

Well, that can be caused by:
‣ You don't own any servers
‣ You don't have Administrator permissions or a bot master role on any server you're on
‣ You're logged on with the wrong account (the most common problem)

The third one can be fixed by following these steps:
1. Logout from Discord in your browser (not installed client or mobile app)
1.1 Open https://discord.com/channels/@me in your browser
1.2 Click on \⚙ icon (User Settings)
1.3 Scroll down, click Log Out and confirm the action

2. Logout from MEE6 website
2.1 Open https://mee6.xyz in the same browser
2.2 Click on the avatar icon in the upper right corner
2.3 Click Logout

3. Login using correct account
3.1 Open https://mee6.xyz and click Login button in the upper right corner
3.2 In the new window log in to Discord. After that, you will be redirected back to the MEE6 website

The role position, and permission are crucial to enable your bot to give roles.

* Visit your server settings -> roles

1. Locate the bot's role and bring it upper than the roles you're expecting MEE6 or Custom Bot to give out.

2. Open the role settings, on the same page, and ensure it has at least Manage Roles permission. Giving Administrator sorts this and many other issues you might have.

PS. Bear in mind that if you have invited a Custom Bot the role is different from MEE6 role, unless you have given a "generic bot's role".

I went through each command and added the correct roles to "deny for all roles except" and it's not working for the role under that category, I don't understand the issue. Hello, I need some help with the Social Alerts feature.
My server name: Yariga APP
The problem: I have set up several YouTube and X accounts to send notifications to my #general channel, but nothing is appearing, even though I know new posts have been made. It worked for a short time at the beginning but then stopped.
What I've already checked:
The bot has Send Messages and Embed Links permissions in the channel.
The channel is public, not private.

well, if you create a reaction message and randomly pick another channel you can t edit it so you have to duplicate the message and select the channel you wanted for that reaction message. Good to know

If that option isn't there, then what you can do is to make it so new users would need to type something to join your server, once they type that message, the bot can then create a thread

It may be because Mee6 does not know what message it should put the thread on, so if you set it to if someone post a message, then Mee6 knows exactly what message should get the thread

If you go to the dashboard, then click on Bot personalizer, from there you can insert a token, that will invite your new bot that will take over MEE6's job, and you can customize it to whatever you want it to.

Or, you can also just change MEE6's nickname, though that would be the only thing that you can change in your server

I just added the settings that you did, but it works for me. Make sure that MEE6 can see and type in that channel normally and see if that helps, if not, try granting MEE6 admin if he doesn't have admin and see if that helps
