Double check that you actually have administrator permission

Keep in mind that the role name does not matter. You need to double check and make sure that the role you have actually has administrator permission.

Here is how you can check:
Step 1:

• Head over to your discord server, then to your server settings.
  Step 2
• Find the "Roles" section, and click on it.
  Step 3
• Find the role that you believe has administrator permission, and click on it.
  Step 4
• Find the "Permissions" tab, and click on it.
  Step 5
• Scroll all the way down and find the "administrator" permission.

That will be the permission you need, if it is turned off you then need the server owner to enable it for you.

Any discord permission experts? Some of my members can access channels even tho the member role is denied access

I understand how discord works but this i just dont understand how they have access even tho they dont have any roles that grant access and their current roles deny the access

One thing in mind when setting up permissions is that channel permissions override category permissions and category permissions override role permissions.

For example:
Role > Category > Channel

Yes. The channel perms are setup like i mentioned above

If its setup correctly then they wont be able to access the channel. There are no ways to bypass and access the contents of channels you don't have permissions to.

If they can see the contents of that channel then you might of missed something when setting up the permissions, and it might be best to go back and double check all the permissions you've set.

Ultimately only you can pinpoint the root cause since no one here has access to your servers settings.

Also keep in mind that there are 3rd party mods that can allow users to see a hidden channel but not actually access the content of that channel.

So look for New Application and create your bot.

Well, that can be caused by:
‣ You don't own any servers
‣ You don't have Administrator permissions or a bot master role on any server you're on
‣ You're logged on with the wrong account (the most common problem)

The third one can be fixed by following these steps:
1. Logout from Discord in your browser (not installed client or mobile app)
1.1 Open https://discord.com/channels/@me in your browser
1.2 Click on \⚙ icon (User Settings)
1.3 Scroll down, click Log Out and confirm the action

2. Logout from MEE6 website
2.1 Open https://mee6.xyz in the same browser
2.2 Click on the avatar icon in the upper right corner
2.3 Click Logout

3. Login using correct account
3.1 Open https://mee6.xyz and click Login button in the upper right corner

I have just added the MEE6 bot to my server, but can you confirm that virtually all functions, even the basic ones, require a paid premium subscription?
I tried the basic function to greet new users and it requires premium, is that correct?

I FIGURED OUT A WORKAROUND

MEE6 will see role activity as triggers.

so all I gotta do is use my other bot to assign a role instead of typing a command, and voila! Bots triggering other bots

I made a burner account as a role-voodoo doll, and can now make secret roles as bot commands. Now I can have the awesome custom commands of yagpdb while keeping the nice face of MEE6

I was unfairly banned by the MEE6 bot on a server I was on, The moderators told me they can’t unban me because I’m not on the ban list. Also, I can’t join again through any new invite links.
I’m not sure what happened, but I haven’t broken any rules knowingly. Can someone help me with this Problem?

Transferring Premium Subscription

You currently have 2 ways of getting your premium transferred:

1 - Using the direct link

2 - Visiting the server with premium

• Visit https://mee6.xyz/dashboard/ -> open the server with premium -> click on premium tab
• Now, you just have to select Transfer premium subscription to another server
