Well, that can be caused by:
‣ You don't own any servers
‣ You don't have Administrator permissions or a bot master role on any server you're on
‣ You're logged on with a wrong account (the most common problem)

The third one can be fixed by following these steps:
1. Logout from Discord in your browser (not installed client or mobile app)
1.1 Open https://discord.com/channels/@me in your browser
1.2 Click on \⚙ icon (User Settings)
1.3 Scroll down, click Log Out and confirm the action

2. Logout from MEE6 website
2.1 Open https://mee6.xyz in the same browser
2.2 Click on the avatar icon in the upper right corner
2.3 Click Logout

3. Login using correct account
3.1 Open https://mee6.xyz and click Login button in the upper right corner
3.2 In the new window log in to Discord. After that, you will be redirected back to the MEE6 website

Will mee6 use discord built-in timeout command to replace adding muted role while muting?

Some channels with specific permission granularity would enable speaking permission explicitly. With that, adding a muted role with speaking disabled won't let the user be muted. They can still talk.

Roles take precedence from their position I believe. So if standard role allows talking and mute expressly disallows it… then muted needs to be above standard for it to overrule (I think)

So does it allow you to apply the role automatically? If so, you could you could use the automation plugin maybe.. though that’s a premium feature. Triggering the flow on when discord adds or removed the muted role with an action to add or remove their standard role.

Prerequisites:

• Moderator plugin is enabled
• !mute command isn't disabled

If a user got the Muted role but still can talk, it means there's an issue with your channel permissions

The way I control the permission is by default, no one can speak until the a role allows that.

That is useful to control the permission with granular access since the discord didn't support overwrites allowed permission with deny.

Discord permissions were designed to be set at server role for permissions that are generally used across channels, then channel permissions are used for any differences and to overrides set in server role permissions.

Same in my server, everyone role has no permissions and members can only do things with server roles given to them. I have no problems whatsoever being able to override permissions in particular channels using Discord permissions as they were designed.

If you have say 15 channels you want a role to talk in and 10 you don't:

• Enable Send Messages in the server role (they can chat in all channels now)
• in the 10 channels you don't want them to talk in, deny Send Messages for that role.
  They can then talk in just the channels you want them to.

This is how Discord designed the permissions to be used, and how many millions of servers do use them. It's also how the MEE6 Muted role was designed to be used.

It's entirely up to you how you set up your server but you'd have to use this designed way to use the Muted role. Currently there's no ETA if/when MEE6 will ever use the Discord Mute feature.

You can use Automated actions to give Tempmutes automatically after a specified number of reactions. Or you can use the /tempmute command if you're doing it manually.

Well, that can be caused by:
‣ You don't own any servers
‣ You don't have Administrator permissions or a bot master role on any server you're on
‣ You're logged on with a wrong account (the most common problem)

The third one can be fixed by following these steps:
1. Logout from Discord in your browser (not installed client or mobile app)
1.1 Open https://discord.com/channels/@me in your browser
1.2 Click on \⚙ icon (User Settings)
1.3 Scroll down, click Log Out and confirm the action

2. Logout from MEE6 website
2.1 Open https://mee6.xyz in the same browser
2.2 Click on the avatar icon in the upper right corner
2.3 Click Logout

3. Login using correct account
3.1 Open https://mee6.xyz and click Login button in the upper right corner
3.2 In the new window log in to Discord. After that, you will be redirected back to the MEE6 website
3.3 That's all! Now you're using the correct account and the MEE6 website lists servers where you can modify his settings

P.S. If you're on mobile and some elements are not visible, enable Desktop site mode or switch screen to Landscape (vertical) mode.
