I just type the Twitter account (for instance @Univ_Droit) but Mee6 can't seems to find it.

The wheel just keep spinning without ever ending and it's fucking frustrating.

Well, that can be caused by:
‣ You don't own any servers
‣ You don't have Administrator permissions or a bot master role on any server you're on
‣ You're logged on with a wrong account (the most common problem)

The third one can be fixed by following these steps:
1. Logout from Discord in your browser (not installed client or mobile app)
1.1 Open https://discord.com/channels/@me in your browser
1.2 Click on \⚙ icon (User Settings)
1.3 Scroll down, click Log Out and confirm the action

2. Logout from MEE6 website
2.1 Open https://mee6.xyz in the same browser
2.2 Click on the avatar icon in the upper right corner
2.3 Click Logout

3. Login using correct account
3.1 Open https://mee6.xyz and click Login button in the upper right corner
3.2 In the new window log in to Discord. After that, you will be redirected back to the MEE6 website
3.3 That's all! Now you're using the correct account and the MEE6 website lists servers where you can modify his settings

I can add to this a bit too mods. The APIs for Twitter changed, when this happened, all the various "tweets to discord" things stopped working without having explicit access to the user's twitter account(s) (yours - so it can scrape followers). They (Twitter) killed the ability to just scrape the tweets of those you want to follow. If you use other services to 'pipe twitter to discord' you will notice they are all not only requiring subscriptions now, but also require basically full access to your twitter account, so it can pull those feeds as you. This has basically killed most of these services until Twitter's API's are modified.

I may a bit off on the facts, but in a nutshell that's what is happening.

And my point is I didn't ask when it would be fixed, I asked if people felt it (Twitter) was a lost cause using the bot's intended functionality. That's what grinded my gears.

We have no idea if Twitter will work again. Another bot I’ve always used for Twitter feeds only allows it to work now for those who pay for the premium (I did) and it’s not working for free people. I know people pay premium for the twitter functionality so I’m not sure what MEE6 will do. They need to probably speak to the team from that other bot and see how they did it (if they are likely to share it, probably not).

They don’t talk about any broken stuff and progress in the mod channels I can access so we have no idea either

Yep I’ve always used it. I tried MEE6 but it never sent any Tweets last year so I switched back to that other one. It’s always served me well. I even tried the little side project bot some of the mee6 staff were making separate to this bot and the tweets wouldn’t send on that either so I don’t know

YouTube works on mee6 though as I use it

Interesting, I've never had a problem with MEE6 sending Tweets to my servers until the current incident.

(It is sending them again now but I know it's only partially fixed in a few servers).

Yes, you can now with Clyde AI. A certain YouTuber who I won't name here included a bit in a video on how to invite Clyde to a DM you have with a friend.

Yep that’s all new to me as I’ve never used the AI but yes it can be added to DMs by the creator of it and it will moderate and block images it thinks may be gore/adult content in certain channels and chats as far as I know

No. There are 2 Clydes. One is a chatting AI which you can add to your DMs if you have Nitro and ping it and the second one is a personalization of your Privacy & Safety settings. The chatting AI cannot moderate and won't respond unless you ping it or reply to one of it's messages.
