Getting IDs on Discord

Discord objects (user profile/server/messages) are composed by IDs.

Currently, there are two ways of getting those.

• 1st - With Dev Mode

1. From your computer
1.1 Click on your User Settings (\⚙ icon)
1.2 Click on Advanced and enable Developer Mode

2. From your mobile
2.1 Swipe to the right (to open the bottom menu)
2.2 Click on the bottom right tab (your profile)
2.3 Click on Appearance/Behavior, enable the Developer mode

Now, from your computer, all you have to do is right-click the objects, and copy its id.

If you're on mobile, you just need to long press, or click on objects to grab its ids.

• 2nd - Without Dev Mode

You simply put \ in front of the object's mention (Users/Roles/Channels/Emojis respectively):

Thank you! I'm going to try my best to explain this. I'm a professional discord designer. I manage many NBA 2k clans, etc. Today I was employed by someone with the mee6 bot, the paid version but they never added the token and did the bot customization on the mee6 website. So I gave them this link to do it.

They did it. The second bot joined the server but never showed online or updated the profile pic then we went to the mee6 website and it completely kicked us out even though both bots were still in the server.

It only gave us the option to "Setup"so we then kicked both bots.And tried to do the setup option The bot did join back however it still doesn't let us in to the mee6 dashboard. And only gives us the option to setup.

It's saying failed to retrieve server data.

yes, I had it personalized as 1Pac with his own backstory, now it's back to default mee6 with no story and it's not in my server anymore

OK, let's try getting it back.

1. Go to the Discord Developer Portal, click on your bot, click on bot on the left side and check your custom bot has all 3 Gateway Intents enabled and OAuth 2 disabled (see screenshot) https://discord.com/developers/applications
2. Reset your custom bot token on the same page
3. In MEE6 Dashboard > Bot Personaliser enable the bot personaliser and put in your custom bot token. Your bot should return to your server
4. In Discord Server Settings > Roles move your custom bot role above all roles it needs to manage
5. Kick the standard MEE6 bot if you wish to (as your custom bot has taken over)
