Mee6 is having us pay for things that I genuinely would rather use ChatGTP for since it is based on their architecture/API. I think that having a subscription for it should genuinely be reconsidered as they already make a very large amount of money from their premium subscriptions. If we assumed that just 1% of the servers they are in have premium, they are making more or less $150,000 a month. It may be good to see Mee6 release some of this stuff for free to show their love for the community and maybe earn its redemption.

I do want to comment on this. With the money they make, I don't imagine it would be entirely difficult to afford. That's not to say I completely understand what they are already paying for, as that knowledge is proprietary. Even in such a case, $150,000 per month should definitely cover that cost on top of whatever else they pay for like a website or possibly a datacenter if they so chose.

It can but $150,000, the low end figure rounded down with crazy high taxes, would be assuming only 1% of the servers the bot is in. Premium with 2% would double that, and so on for each percent added.
