Discord Developer Portal, go to the bot you made before, click bot, then click reset token and copy it, then paste that in where it asks for it under bot personaliser

The personalised bot will then come back alive

It is genuinely as if someone wiped the tokens from the database by accident and it stopped recognising we had bots

Just to confirm, resetting the bot token on 2 of my servers got my custom bots working again.
Weirdly my 3rd custom bot server was not affected, so it seems it's just some shards this is happening to.

Role Hierarchy

The role position, and permission are crucial to enable your bot to give roles.

* Visit your server settings -> roles

1. Locate the bot's role and bring it upper than the roles you're expecting MEE6 or Custom Bot to give out.

2. Open the role settings, on the same page, and ensure it has at least Manage Roles permission. Giving Administrator sorts this and many other issues you might have.

PS. Bear in mind that if you have invited a Custom Bot the role is different from MEE6 role, unless you have given a "generic bot's role".

Look through the applications and make sure it’s not there. If it isn’t, then it may be on another account. If it’s not anywhere to be found, you’d need to make a new one sadly.

Ultimately you need the token for the bot in your server and if you can’t reset that token, it won’t work again

If you need to make a new one, you’d probably need to reconfigure embeds and all that stuff which isn’t ideal, hence the reason you need the bot you’re using now

Eyy my fix I found 14 hours ago seems to be the solution MEE6 now adopted so if you did reset your tokens earlier to get back online, most people have managed to get back to normal and you’re good to go 😄
