Custom bot takes over control from MEE6 (you can kick the standard bot if you wish).
After adding the custom bot, it can take some hours for the slash commands to come back (they'll be on the custom bot). This is down to how Discord handle slash commands in servers, I believe.

You could try switching off and then back on every single command in the MEE6 Dashboard (yes, that's a pain). It may help to get them back more quickly. But otherwise you'll just have to wait.

In the meantime, you can use the ! version of commands e.g. !ban instead of /ban.

You have to go into each plugin in the MEE6 Dashboard to see the commands for that plugin. Use the off/on switch on each one to switch them off and on again.
You could try switching off the whole plugin first (you won't lose anything if you do). That might work.

I remember doing all of this myself when I first switched to the custom bot. But I think I may have had to wait a few hours first before even trying the off/on switching.

Well, that can be caused by:
‣ You don't own any servers
‣ You don't have Administrator permissions or a bot master role on any server you're on
‣ You're logged on with a wrong account (the most common problem)

The third one can be fixed by following these steps:
1. Logout from Discord in your browser (not installed client or mobile app)
1.1 Open https://discord.com/channels/@me in your browser
1.2 Click on \⚙ icon (User Settings)
1.3 Scroll down, click Log Out and confirm the action

2. Logout from MEE6 website
2.1 Open https://mee6.xyz in the same browser
2.2 Click on the avatar icon in the upper right corner
2.3 Click Logout

3. Login using correct account
3.1 Open https://mee6.xyz and click Login button in the upper right corner
3.2 In the new window log in to Discord. After that, you will be redirected back to the MEE6 website

I can't think of anything, I don't want like the general stuff like gender and what not

TBH if you don't really have any reasons to add self-roles, then don't. They need to be something that's useful to the community.
If you don't want to have members using @ everyone (highly recommend that people don't!) then you could have self roles for announcements, lfg, giveaways etc which allow those roles to be pinged and those with those roles get notified. Also you could have sections in your community that are only accessible with self roles e.g. gaming categories.

Yeah I guess the notifications roles are not too bad, rather than doing @ everyone, I see what you mean about self roles usually are useful things that's got me thinking a bit, rather than just having pointless roles for show and tell, I just like the idea of self roles looks neat in a server when done right.

Well, that can be caused by:
‣ You don't own any servers
‣ You don't have Administrator permissions or a bot master role on any server you're on
‣ You're logged on with a wrong account (the most common problem)

The third one can be fixed by following these steps:
1. Logout from Discord in your browser (not installed client or mobile app)
