Hey, i wanted to use the moderators plugin -> "Bad Word List" for people not tagging specific members of my discord.
For exp. I added "@User1234" to the bad word list.
Problem: When a user writes the full word (every single letter) "@User1234", the word is getting detected and removed (like intended), but when the User just writes "@Use" and now selects the full name from the autofill dropdownmenu with its suggestions , the word "@User1234" now does not get detected (even its full written in the chatline).

that's quite normal, bots see mentions as <@id>/<@!id> so you have to consider adding the raw format of the mentions in bad word list.

How to retrieve IDs

First, you have to make sure you have developer mode is enabled.

User Settings → Advanced (Behavior in mobile clients) → look for Developer Mode.

A Copy ID button will be revealed in various context menus as you right-click (or tap and hold @ mobile users) on messages, channels, servers, users and roles.

Hey! You may have a integrated role, from when you added me. If you have https://cdn.mee6.xyz/s/integrated.png above my role, try kicking me and re-inviting me to your server.
However, make sure that you uncheck everything in the default permissions list. This also gives you one less role to deal with that you can't delete! :)

Well, that can be caused by:
‣ You don't own any servers
‣ You don't have Administrator permissions or a bot master role on any server you're on
‣ You're logged on with a wrong account (the most common problem)

Third one can be fixed by following these steps:
1. Logout from Discord in your browser (not installed client or mobile app)
1.1 Open https://discordapp.com/app in your browser
1.2 Click on \⚙ icon (User Settings)
1.3 Scroll down, click Log Out and confirm action
2. Logout from MEE6 website
2.1 Open https://mee6.xyz in the same browser
2.2 Click on avatar icon in upper right corner
2.3 Click Logout
3. Login using correct account
3.1 Open https://mee6.xyz and click Login button in upper right corner
3.2 In new window login to Discord. After that you will be redirected back to MEE6 website

I've been using mee6 to fetch and post new submission to our subreddits (1m ~ members) in our discord server, so far so good.

However, mee6 also fetches posts which would land in the spam tab or get flagged as spam automatically by reddit. We had a few issues with bots posting nsfw pics and links to our sub and mee6 happily reposted them in the discord server despite those posts being tagged as spam nonetheless and couldn't even have been viewed by normal users, only users with the moderators class on reddit were able to see them.

I know reddit flags malicious accounts in the background and while they do can post to a sub their submissions are automatically hidden and marked as spam.

Is mee6 using an older api from reddit? Because this cant happen if mee6 would use a user token for post access. Its pretty annoying.

I would at least like the option to only have certain posts relayed in the server (only those with at least 1k upvotes, only image posts etc) as sometimes mee6 cant keep up with all the new posts and just stops posting.

Well, that can be caused by:
‣ You don't own any servers
‣ You don't have Administrator permissions or a bot master role on any server you're on
‣ You're logged on with a wrong account (the most common problem)

Third one can be fixed by following these steps:
1. Logout from Discord in your browser (not installed client or mobile app)
1.1 Open https://discordapp.com/app in your browser
1.2 Click on \⚙ icon (User Settings)
1.3 Scroll down, click Log Out and confirm action
2. Logout from MEE6 website
2.1 Open https://mee6.xyz in the same browser

Anyway, today we tried giving some members exp, but as you can see in the screenshot it seems that /give-xp and /give-coins seems to be greyed out.
I'm unsure why this is happening but I do pay for Premium so that shouldn't be the problem.

This hasn't happened before but I have asked another friend, who also has premium, to try give exp on her server but it seems to work just fine for them. The only difference is we use / as a prefix instead of !.

UPDATE: Explored the dashboard and found that we had to re-add the roles that were allowed to use those commands.

That usually happens because:

• Plugin is disabled -> Go to https://mee6.xyz/dashboard and enable the plugin with needed command!
• Permission is missing -> Ask your server's owner to go to https://mee6.xyz/dashboard -> Settings -> Bot master -> Add your role
• Command is disabled -> Go to https://mee6.xyz/dashboard, open plugin settings and enable the command!
• Do not reply to command option is enabled -> Go to https://mee6.xyz/dashboard, open plugin settings, click [Edit] button (or on the command itself if there's no button), scroll down and disable the option!
• You're using command in wrong way! -> Moderator commands like !mute !kick etc. need the user to be mentioned, and !ban, !unban, !infractions and !rank also accept users IDs. Example: !kick @user annoying
