I recently lowered my sens, and after playing with it it seems to be a good fit,but aim training with it seems to make my shoulder sore
Do I need to warmup my shoulder or something or is it something that goes away after awhile
Warmup + dont push it too much cuz its new for u, let the body get used to it(its not super low right?(
Probably a bit of overuse or lack of strength in the area, i would rest one day and the day after start strengthening the area with 1hp routine, aldo on their channel
Slowly but surely add 1 new thing that u do everyday, and make it a habit
Youtube is full of information for it
It's just 60 or 65 cm lol
Also dont do just that one, to make it easier for u to adjust(when tired, increase, or for appropriate categories)
Yo so I am interested to try hand stretches that doctor hwu provide on the 1hp YouTube channel
However it is a little confusing to me as there are multiple of his routines on the channel
And I don't know which one to pick(I don't exercise and I play for atleast 6 hours a day and it can be 12 or 15 hours so I am taking this pretty seriously)
Just pick one(also why such long hours :0) remember to take breaks
Most pros that have made it told me that volume is important
And also I just don't get tired because I have fun playing that much
Alright, remember that even for aspiring pros rest days are important
glhf man
I think I'll just take a rest day today bc I it's sunday
and also i switched to doing vdims instead of fundamental
Yeah. Maybe just use a controller.
You can always do aim training with just one hand tho
feeling some tightness in this area here? cant find any info, help?
fuckin w my grip and clicking mostly
something to do with the thumb im guessinbg
@violet swan nah no pain
Do a few minutes of shoulder and upper back and neck mobility, including focus on external rotation
See if it helps
ah do you have anything like a guide?
like do i just roll back my shoulders and turn my neck?
Im pretty sure u can find on 1hp’s youtube channel
When you want to flick to the right, do you feel trembling?
kind of to the left not the right or maybe yhats just left side weakness idk
I've been going to the gym and doing physio for the last 6 months pretty religiously. I played a game of cs today after said 6 months and my back pain in still there.
I will never recover.
if playing cs is the only time your back hurts then the problem is with your chair and ergonomics
I discussed this at length with my physiotherapist
I got a steelcase leap v2
And an adjustable desk and monitor arm
is your lower back properly supported by the chair
Yes
It has adjustable lumbar support
Curvature and height
The pain is upper back
100% caused by mouse movements
My physiotherapist says so
How are you moving your mouse?
Large motions latterly are Shoulder
And vertically tris and bis are involved
Wrist and finger for fine moments
Desk at about elbow height
What's your sensitivity
if you have an actual spine condition you need to craft your gaming posture around that
maybe your chair/table need to be adjusted further
My pain is muscular
My spine has slight kyphosis and scoliosis but my doctor and physiotherapists alike explain that it's negligible
When you're aiming, is your wrist/arm hovering
Can you try to adjust your position so more of your arm lays down on the table
So less of the stress is on your back/shoulders
Slightly forward position with your elbow touching the table
and try different chair heights and see if that makes it worse or better
Desk height can be a thing too, just try a different desk that is of a different height (you can just take your chair and a potato and sit next to that, even if it's your kitchen sink)
Do you work?
or go to school
My desk has adjustable height
I tried multiple heights
No dice
It's tensing
So no tensing is insane
It's variable
Depending on how fast you go
I'm mindful of how much I tense for the use case
I try not to go the fastest I can go
Since I tense to hard
But it doesn't matter
what if you lean back
See his wing span?
I can't have the mouse and keyboard that far apart
I feel that would he part of the problem
His monitor is also too close I think
This is very bizarre to me
I mean your monitor needs to be pretty close for competitive cs
Yeah
I pull mind close when I need too
The problem is the stand
Hit pushes the kbaord forward
I got an arm so it basically floats
well yeah so you can just ignore your monitor when going for the optimal posture. Just find the right posture and adjust your monitor to that.
How tall are you?
If gaming is important to you, you'd probably need to discuss this directly with your physiotherapist, and maybe they can give you some stretches and moves you can do every 15min/30min when gaming
175 cm
I did
Non of them work
Nor the ones online
Is it possible that you have some problem with your upper back muscles and gaming is what triggers it
If you were in EU I'd recommend seeing a chiropractor, but in NA I hear they don't have a very good reputation
And for posture, make sure your elbows aren't rounded forwards, unless your whole arm is sitting on the table. Because it sounds you're either putting a lot of stress on your upper back, or that very little stress is already enough to trigger pain, which shows there is some kind of a problem that can't be fixed just by switching your position
Do you get pain when you drive a car?
or if you use your phone
Pain is also not necessarily a bad thing, in terms of recovery. Just keep working with your physiotherapist.
In the meanwhile, if you want to keep gaming, but don't want to deal with the pain, use a wrist sensitivity (like 20/360) and just use your wrist, perhaps with a support under your arm
And when you feel comfortable trying to game, try to isolate your practice to aim trainers, dm, aim_botz, etc. So you can control the amount of stress, take breaks, adjust your posture and won't have to just suffer through a whole game
What do you mean by rounded my elbow?
I dont have a car, sadly
I've been doing physio for years
They all reach this point where they don't know what to do
I can't practice at all
Like it's too painful
This might make you think I'm like 39
I'm 23
Can you sit on a chair comfortably without pain? Can you browse the web on your PC without pain?
I just really don’t understand why my body likes to be self destructive
It decided that it’d be a good idea to wake me up an hour earlier than my alarm so now I’ve had 6 hours of sleep and my day is completely ruined
And I can’t fall back asleep so now I’m gonna be permanently tired for the rest kd the day
I won’t be able to learn well or do well in any games gg
A) if you wake up during your sleep for no reason that can be a sign of a sleep problem
b) if 6 hours isn't enough for you to function, that can be a sign of poor quality sleep
Both a and b require doctor
When I’m tired I’m quite slow
I can function but I’m not exactly gonna remember what I learn
I’m also 17 so I need more sleep than most adults
Idk why my body is able to just wake up whenever on the weekend but not weekdays
the sooner u start having a natural rhythm of bed time and waking time the better
for a 17 year old it can be tough to wake up at the same time every day and even harder to go to sleep at the same time every day
but you'll have to get used to it at some point in your life so earlier the better
My peebrain attention span is responsible
I used to actually have a good sleep schedule but for some reason I stopped a few months ago
And I’ve been tired almost every school day
There is slight discomfort
i feel like this is the place to ask. do you guys have any recommendations on a relatively cheap ergonomic chair for someone who is 6 foot 3
not really wanting another gaming chair because they're bad for your back apparently
can go to £300
my shoulder has been getting sore recently while training. Idk if this is because of improper technique or just the fact i never work out probably a mixture of both
One night at 6 hours shouldn't ruin your day
if you're sleeping well
I've noticed that for me, high quality 3-5 hours will make me more functional and rested than low quality +7hours. But I also have a way of measuring my sleep quality, which not many do.
My point was that if you have sleep problems, you should have a pretty low bar of going to a healthcare professional to talk about them, and see if you have some underlying issues
because bad sleep kills you
Anyone knows what the average recommend IU of vitamin D is ?
Been looking around and I have seen a wild difference between us and eu docs recommendation
I know that us docs love to shove medicine in their patient because drug prices are insanely high but what is the actual recommended number ?
there is none. Test it each year, then use the amount you need for you body for the time without sun
dont ever trust : recommeneded values for witamin D, higher than 1000mg witamin C ( renal threshold for vitamin C is about 100mg, 1g of wit C soluble per day is really enough)
like thats out of the brain in first 1 min of thinking
I mean I been doing 100000 a month plus fish oil and I'm chilling
didn't even know before I checked
In the north we don't get sun so the number is a lot higher. Depends on the amount of sun you're getting
Would lasik surgery affect my aim?
what cereal do you guys recommend
probably helps a little bit long term and if you have eye problems then definitely
I just bought some nice granola
Hello fellows,
Does anyone has daily exercises i can do at work to reinforce my wrist and also stretching to keep it healthy? I do have some pain in it originating from previous injury from skateboard and snowboard that appear after 3/4 hours of playing any shooter.
I'm asking that cause I tend to use high sens and put a lot of effort on my wrist.
Disclaimer: I'm not asking to be told that I need to lower it, It's a personnal challenge to prove things to myself and I'm fully aware of the danger and risk of losing hand mobility.
I'm going to check this out, thanks a lot !
@uneven ivy i liked it thanks a lot you hit right on the nail with the link ❤️❤️❤️
I know that Lasik can cause dryness of eyes and light sensitivity so you might want to avoid playing for a while if it causes you discomfort, but getting the surgery is worth it 100%
hey guys, i currently use a staples hyken but its getting a bit worn out. is it a good enough chair for the price to just get another one, or are there others in the same price range ish that are better?
recently realized my hand kinda sits to the right from my wrist when i play games, ive tried correcting it but its really hard to control because after i move my arm it just goes back like that, is this a bad thing?
My back of the neck has started hurting. Never done it before, at least not from gaming. I think it was due to me unconsciously tensing my neck while playing. I thought it would go away on its own but it has been a few days and idk what I can do to make it go away
There are neck stretches and massages you can do yourself that will help. Bigger issue is to find an ergonomic working position so this doesn't happen again.
I like to massage the aching area, I think it helps a bit, at least for temporarily. I struggle so hard finding good posture, I never had problems when I sat like a dumb monkey, but now that I tried to improve my posture, I'm just getting a bunch of problems (but improved posture has helped me in game)
It’s very hard for me to visualize what your problems with your posture could be from that description.
yeah I don't know what could be wrong, since I've tried so many different things
Lower your shoulders, unclench your jaw and let your head and back rest on the chair support
the back rest on my chair is tilted backwards too much and I can't adjust it
get a new chair
too poor :/
well, everytime i train and sometimes when i play, my pinky finger gets extremely tense, to the point where i feel pain, i try to remind myself to relax it, but unconciously i tense it while i try to aim.
what i can do to fix that?
grip weakness
I played aim trainers all day yesterday so my arm is really exhausted, should i just take a day off aim training in order for it to recover?
has anyone here ever gotten a sharp pain in their tricep while doing wrist stretches
idk if those things are connected in any way but it actually feels like I fucked something
Yep. When u do it more consistent u recover faster too. So dw its just in the beginning (im talking from gym experience not aim training experience but im sure its the same)
ive been aim training daily for over a year, but i think the reason im starting to feel fatigue now, is bc i also just started wortking out daily
How recently did u start?
After a while u dont really get stiffness atleast i dont
i started a couple months ago
Maybe just count ur aim training days as a kind of arm day so u dont do push or pull right before u want to aim train and do aim training during rest or leg days?
For me it took like 5 days to recover from an arm workout
how do i fix my slouching issue, everytime i try to sit up straight it strains and hurt me
didnt work sadly
im still in a lot of pain
I got another appointment with my physiotherapist tomorrow
but last we spoke he said "Unfortunately I do not have any answers for you"
Anyone have solution to a very tight calves
Been stretching them out for around 5 months now
And no progress at a
Try full rom or even more than full rom weighted calf raises, for high reps, holding the stretch and contraction for 5 seconds each time, to eliminate tendon interference(that big ankle tendon likes to take over)
I do those also but idk it's the very top part of my Calve that really limits me
In what way
i do weighted calve rraises with the holding the stretch
i alos tried regular calve stretches
it more then i do hamstring stretches it limits me
and i feel it in the top part of my calv
i have carpal tunnel on my keyboard hand. It went away when i started stretching but came back after like 2 weeks. its been like 2 years and it doesnt go away. What could be the cause?
Does your wrist dangle off the desk? As in do you have your arm supported or is it kinda just dangling there
I have almost all of my arm on my desk.
arm is supported
Would you mind sending a photo of how your arm is usually positioned at your desk?
sure. gimme some time
The problem could also just be prolonged hours with little to no breaks or stretching
im bad at taking pictures
is this ok?
Maybe it’s because you’re raising your wrist high, I don’t know how it feels for you but your wrist should almost lay flat
ok i will use a book so it is flatter. thanks, ill see if that fixes the issue
any suggestions to relieve pressure from this area?
This page, site and youtube channel should help
try to work out later in the day after finishing all of ur important tasks
huh-
Click on the picture the most similar to ur issue
Or search youtube 1hp channel
ty
does anyone know that if I'm trying to complete work I should work without my headphones that I use for gaming on?
because it might distract me
Does anyone know why I feel so much pain in my forearms? This only happens when i straighten them with palms up (like for a straight bar curl)
could be underdeveloped muscles, hard to say from that description. Do some stretches
when i do vt microshot sphere or any other task where it needs me to do micro adjustments to small targets over and over again. I get this rusty feeling in my hand(i use fingertip grip) i feel a rubbing sensation of my bones like they are not lubricated and dry and are rubbing against each other. it makes it uncomfrtable to aim and slows me down and distracts me. i have this vibrating feeling in my hands when that happens because of the inside friction. and if i try to loosen my grip on the mouse it makes me unable to aim properly idk if this is some muscle problem or something.
it doesnt happen on normal occasions, it only happens if im doing prolonged microadjustment task, after 15/20 second of doing the task i feel my muscles either giving up or smthng but it feels like i have a friction through my whole hand from inside.
and coincidentally my hand starts feeling hot when that rubbing sensation starts in my hand the longer i keep doing the task. and its not rubbing it deadass feels like i need some lubing inside of the hand to make it stop rubbing against something.
i dont understand if its a hand weakness problem but i have had this problem for a long time but i didnt take care of it because i micro adjustments werent the majority of my training regimen
i can pinpoint from which part of my hand to which part i feel the rubbing sensation
It’s like a limitation that causes pain, whenever I try to get my arm turned (like I said for the curl) it hurts; it also hurts for forearm curls but not as much
My arms hurt when I do that too right now, but it's because I just had a arm day. Do you exercise or lift weights?
Have you done any stretches? And what muscle is the pain at?
I don’t know the specific muscle cus there’s so many in the area, I do lift weights but this isn’t a normal thing
Tendons connected to the elbow are sore/ micro damaged, (inner or outer). Needs a day or two of as much rest as u can for that arm, try to do everything with the other arm + slowly work up to the same workloads and volume, day by day(this includes gaming time and intensity)
Light stretching and whole upper body mobilization will help aswell
the range of motion in my arm is differnt from left to right so i have to like move my full arm down the mousepad when im trying to aim to the right please someone help me fix this
should i get surgery
also when i aim to the right i have to keep re adjusting my arm but when i am to the left its 1 clean motion
stretch and actually move your arm before considering surgery lmfao
Ye its normal, u just need to practice it more
Maybe posture /chair height related aswell
But mainly training arm movements
Yeah, like do actual physical exercise? Nothing complicated, just standard mobility stuff
When you're gaming and sitting down, you're doing harm to yourself that you can offset by doing exercise, basically
Anyone get burning in their deltoids after long periods of training? It doesn't feel like my joints, mainly the muscle so I'm hoping It's normal and not of concern.
Might be fatigue and or tightness in the rotator cuff. Try to take breaks and mobilize the shoulder and rotator cuff, i find relief from it sometimes.
When I try micro adjustment clicking task,I often feel bad like car sick or sea sick.
If I feel bad,I couldn't move my arms smoothly and as much as I'd like.
I wanna avoid these problem.
Please tell me advise.
My sitting style is folding down the backrest and open the sides btw.
Try eating and drinking right now, then 2 minutes later test again with same scenario and see if it helped
Doing stretches prior and having my arm closer to the side of my body seems to reduce the fatigue. Breaks are important too, if Im actively in discomfort, it doesnt affect my avg score well
Yep 👍
ok,I'll try later thanks
My eyes were maybe broken.
I can't notice where I am watching.
Maybe my eyes couldn't take rest.
Please tell me the way to care eyes and training for focusing.
ok ok , what food to eat for better reaction time, ik there is blue berries but thez r expensive af in germany ( 5 bucks for 400grams)
I'm getting pain and ache in the base of my thumb after holding the mouse for about 2 hours, what can i do?
Take breaks every 30 minutes and stretch all ur fingers and wrist before and after pc
Also try to reduce tension on the mouse while aiming
yup i find stretching helps relieve the tension in the muscle
How do I address my aiming shoulder ending up more hurt than my keeb shoulder/arm which has no pain? Same height, and pretty mirrored distance
should my keyboard hand wrist touch the table?
Mouse arm just does more work, extremely so, so your tendons get beat up
Did u lower sens and do speed trajning recently or something
Anyways general recommendation is to take breaks every 30 min or so and get up and mobilize the upper body, especially mouse arm
Also strengthening ur upper body and rotator cuff will help you
Thanks for the advice
this is probably not a misuse hopefully considering its kinda a health problem but, does anybody know how to stop trigger finger? I have gotten it from playing too much rhythm games and now my fingers just do this really fast motion all of a sudden that I can't control, i've tried various things yet I can't fix this finger issue and its been like this for over 4 years since the pandemic and its been messing up my aimlabs and general FPS gaming experience
video for reference, the two shots on the sphere
as far as i've experienced, it generally happens when I click or do a flick
(not the first one in the first second btw that's just skill issue from my part)
Use spacebar for firing
thats a temporary fix
and doesnt adress the actual issue
you have your elbow in the air or wrist? which one is proper?
Thank you a lot for this msg and past msg.
Yesterday I definetely did overdid it 6 hours of aim training (no break / stretches). And after I had all the symptoms of RSI / Carpal tunnel syndrome. It‘s a bit better now that I have slept and I will buy a splinter as well,
I‘m scared that I have injured myself with that and if it’s a normal thing if you too much aim training. Or that everything else will be normal again. Aim trainers are so much more intense, sometimes I play 10h Valo, nothing happens. For the future I keep my aim train 1h again. Also can I see it like muscle soreness that next time I have more muscle trained in my wrist or how may I view it?
Thank you if someone had similiar experience like this and share me their insights?
And I have read already a lot in the history.
~ from someone who just wants practice good aim and improve a lot
Definitely try to rest, a lot of people want quick improvement - but if we’re injured we stall for maybe weeks
Mobilize and strengthen ur upper body everyday
With slow reps
Tendon pain is definitely not like muscle soreness
Thank you.
So you think I have seriously injured myself?
And it’s not just gonna be a few days..?
Ohh man, I was so close to get radiant again..
What‘s your experience with it?

Oh no no, i didnt mean to say u are seriously injured, was just an example. It does sound like a minor injury or fatigue buildup overtime + those very long intense sessions
Rest + mobilize + reintroduce pc usage slowly overtime
Strengthen slowly overtime as well
And keep aimtraining sessions to 2 hours max with breaks every 30 min or so
Someone know a gaming mouse who is like that mouse
I got a lot hand pain, I don’t know what to do
I went also to docs but they can’t help me
Why this mouse shape, and why do u think u have hand pain?
And where exactly is the pain
Checkout 1hp site and choose the picture thats similar to ur pain area
For how long
Did u stop gaming or continue
U need rest aswell
Or at least reduce volume significantly
@woven thunder
For how many days did u use the 1hp routine
This takes time
A week
Any specific wrist usage during the week? Weights? Pc job?
Why do u think u have this pain?
So u say u feel more pain on the keyboard arm? And why do u want that specific mouse shape?
No on the mouse hand
Oh so u are a lefty then
I don’t feel pain on the keyboard hand
Im Right hand
But u said u feel more on the left
^
Its a tendon issue. Might be from your shoulder/neck area
Try mobility for your whole upper body
For a few days
Work on good posture
So what should I do?
Look on youtube or google “hand asleep mobility routine” or “upper body mobility routine”
- having good posture throughout the day
It’s not real asleep, I just notice that my left hand got more emotions then my right
Ye i know
i have the problem that my wristz locks up sometimes when i aim
my arm has been aching a bit since starting to aim train everyday, will this pass or should i take a few days off?
well it depends if you have an injury before or if its new. If its new usually you just dont move your muscles alot
Hit the gym and lessen tension
Is it possible to cause minor hand injury from doing hand exercises? I’ve been stretching my hands and fingers recently and noticed my hands and wrists feel tingly. It isn’t numb but I feel slightly less sensation. No pain so far, was wondering if I should continue doing stretches or just stop altogether if stretching or over stretching was the problem. I’ve only been stretching once per day for about 10 mins.
I did table tennis/ping pong today and my wrist hasn't done such movements before and now my wrist is practically dying. How can I prevent this from expanding more?
Reduce power on the stretching
If stretching only hands for 10 min, reduce time aswell
Mobilize your whole upper body
For best results
Tendons on fingers are connected to the neck, clavicular area, shoulders, elbow etc
So problem there can cause problem on fingers
guys my keyboard hand is throbbing all the way to my shoulder, wtf did i possibly do wrong with my posture
its been 3-4 days
I figured I'd start with posting this here, I'd like to post it in #valorant , but I'm not sure how it will be received.
Let's start with the positive. I'm one of the best shooter players on the planet. I started playing Fortnite competitively at 13, I became one of the best players in my country, (top 3). YAY. That's fantastic isn't it? Yes, but also no.
My childhood was a monstrosity, I won't get too far into it but it was on the extreme end of the spectrum, which unfortunately means none of the problems are truly ever going to go away, and if they do. Not any time soon. This has made it impossible for me to keep competing.
It affects everything so much. And it doesn't stop. God dammit does it never stop. I'm very good at keeping myself optimistic and hopeful.
But, honestly? It gets really difficult.
And now being 18, I have made very little impact in the Valorant scene, and it feels like time is running out. I'm at an age where most people at my skill level are in organisations. I have barely done anything. And I have no idea when I will be able to.
Truthfully, there is one thing I can do that might solve all my problems in one go, well I know it can. I have seen it happen before.
But I don't know how to go back there, I don't know what triggered it, under what circumstances or if I can even recreate it. But it worked.
It went away, pretty sure it was my fault.
It's so difficult to see clearly, and whenever I think I'm onto something I reach a dead end.
I'm stuck in a labyrinth. And I need to be able to survive it, but I'm scared of the version of myself that can.
I know it's the right thing to do, I know I have to become that in order for me to ever feel good about myself again. But it's so scary, and I don't feel like I can keep it up for long before I start to see it as bad.
Yeah, there we go. Root of the problem.
I see the good part of me as bad, evil and monstrous. That's what I was told it was in any case, it still messed up my relationship with it.
I need to confront it again. I need to set things right. I will test things out and hopefully I can do it. But I've been trying for a very, very long time and I don't know if it's possible.
Anways,
Goodluck with whatever problems you have random person on an aimtraining discord server
If this can be used like this, I'll probably post more stuff here
pain approx in this area
hurt earlier when i tried to pick up my gfs ipad earlier similar to this
do i have tennis elbow from aim training? i arm aim a lot
are pinecones for VRT a meme or are they real like eggs and blueberries?
also where do i get pinecones to eat
tree
yo 2 days ago i aim trained for 3 hrs straight and my right arm is still paining even though i have not aim trained since then, the pain is much less now but shld i be worried?
fps pros are on average like 25 years old, but you should focus on fixing your life. When you fix your life, competing and grinding valorant becomes much easier
Just had a mini heart break with a sitautionship that was going well, the aim training fuel is back wish me goodluck
Hey homies
So my 4th physiotherapist does not have an answer for me
My upper back behind the shoulder blades is getting fatigued from if doing the mouse
Be it at work or other wise
I'm standing more using my standing desk and using a posture vest which alleviates the pain a tad bit
I'm honestly out of ideas
I have slight kyphosis
And 8 degrees worth of scoliosis
I should not be in this much pain
Orthopedic doctors don't see a need for surgical intervention
I'm out of ideas
Simple
Train ur lower, mid and upper traps as well as scapular control
Seratus anterior, neck
Multiple things can help u
Vest is just a bandaid
The real problem is weakness
Also stretch and mobilize your mouse arm frequently, preferably whole upper body
Staying tight with pc posture for high periods of time doing the same repetitive motions isnt good for the body
Especially if not countering it with mobilization and strengthening
is it a bad idea to raise my sens if i recently came off of a wrist injury?
I've Been Going To The Gym For The Last 7 months. I can work with heavier weights now but the pain is still the same
Heavy training doesnt mean strong lower traps

When it comes to building muscle, most of us put all of our attention on our “mirror muscles” – as these are the muscles that we and others can see. Unfortunately, as a result of this, the various muscles that we can’t see or don't even know exist get neglected. Which over time leads to crucial muscle imbalances and weaknesses – namely in the lo...
On jah
Go to 1hp $30 a month 3 month they will fix u
I’m going back to em for a new problem
They fixed the last 1
The ones I did were assigned by my physiotherapist just to be safe. I will look into the video you posted. I don't think I have the muscle to be able to do whatever he's doing in there lol
Is that like a physiotherapist ?
U do dont worry
ye but they acc know about gaming shit
posture ergonomics etc
I'll stick with them for a few months see if anything will change
It wouldnt hurt to take his advice
Do you have a link?
My wrist is so fried. Whats the fastest/most efficient way to heal the wrist? And prevent it from further injury?
Arms feeling tired after training consistently for 3 weeks. The tiredness started after training speed vdim on Wednesday. Should i take a break or is that my arms building stamina?
u are building stamina, but start stretching. take care about your forearms. there is many exercises on youtube for biceps + forearms stretching
I know calesthenics isnt optimal for muscle gains but anyone got a science based calisthenic person or exercises they can recommend with good STF
Alex leonidas does calisthenics as well, fitnessfaq’s, austin dunham
Idk about science based, but these are very strong individuals
Calisthenics aren't optimal when you've done them for a while. For most people, they never reach this point
Adding weight to calisthenics movements is recommended as u progress @crimson glacier
Those 3 do it
And they’re very good at it
Of course, but my point is that if you're not a seasoned body builder, you'll get a benefit from that
Oh fs, especially if using harder variations and or weight
I don't know if I can aim train anymore, the pain in my rotator cuff is getting so bad it's become my limiting factor for highscores. I've been doing shoulder exercises daily with no relief. Only relief I get is when I stop
Check posture, rest for a day, stretch mobilize and strengthen ur upper body
Any tips and like exercises for minimizing or at least reducing the severity for anger issues. I fully believe anger issues is making my life harder for myself and my peers around me.
Adhd can cause quick anger, or any other emotions, and difficulty stopping them. Also a lot of overthinking and anxiety
Worth checking if u have it
I think in general, thinking positively throughout the day for days consistently can re-wire ur thought process
Most likely I do, I also have difficulties concentrating in class and I tend to get frustrated fairly easily.
Sounds like me
Im taking medication hopefully soon
It restores power to the frontal cortex which controls emotions
That adhd lack
Compared to regular people at least
So like adderall or something similar?
Well I've been kind of doing research of my own, but only into anger issues. The main types of anger issues I have are Inward and Outward anger issues. Inward being anger dedicated to yourself (negative self-talk etc.) and outward being like shouting and breaking things.
Is it anger or emotiona disregulation? Like, not being able to ignore things that make you angry, and not being able to suppress your emotions?
Yea probably. I thought of borderline personality disorder aswell but idk.
Are you feeling unwell all the time or are you talking about situations where you get agitated and can't help yourself
and is shouting and breaking things just because you want to break things and shout, or because you can't stop yourself from doing that?
Well not all the time i feel angry/unwell. Mostly my anger just comes from situations that agitate and frustate me. (Mostly when I have P.E class)
Does exercising help you control your anger at all?
Well when i train in the gym i feel mostly calm, no issues whatsoever
so what's a typical situation where you'd shout and break things, and how do you feel after that
Hard hitting question
Although breaking stuff is extreme for me i did do it in my childhood like three times i think
Through anger
Well a typical situation would be where im playing a game and i start getting frustrated/angry. Over time it progresses, sometimes leading me to shout and/or slam my mouse or punch my monitor. And if something breaks i usually feel regret and maybe also like hate myself for doing that.
If most of the time you're feeling calm, but you have these outbursts when provoked by outside stimulation and can't really control yourself when you're getting angry, it's much more ADHD than BPD
Anyways, you should be seeing a doctor if this impacts you negatively or you in general feel like you have problems related to mental health
discord won't help you
Does it lessen with medication in ur experience
I remembered u have it aswell am i right
I've raged maybe three times in 5 years I've been on medication
probably daily before that
Sheesh.
I can get agitated, but I don't have a reason to get angry or vent my anger towards anyone else
I had to wait 2 months for psychiatric first visit -.-
and maybe I want to scream a bit when I'm throwing smokes in cs2 and I get clipped by the wall for no reason, but I don't break stuff
I mean, it's 2months for something that will help the rest of your life
it's nothing
I would kind of like to, but idk i like kind of dont want to go to a doctor. I dont want to go througb the trouble of going to the doctors in the first place. Maybe when im older ill go.
Finally a light
Sooner you go, the better. Since if it's ADHD, it will massively impact your development and school results
Trust me waiting is baaad decision
I've heard of bunch of people with ADHD, and their single regret in life is not getting diagnosed earlier
Its not even bad, why not get it checked and sorted out?
but when you're not diagnosed you're kind of freestyling life so you don't give a shit about much of anything, really. But you start giving a shit later on, and then you can feel dissappointed
I got diagnosed after highschool or in last year of it something like that
But i didnt even do anything about it
They recommended natural sourced ritalin or something like that
But i said something like “nah i can do it without medications im stronger than that”
BIG mistake
Now years later
I feel STALLED
Having same disadvantages as all my life
I kind of feel like that rn
Well, you wouldn't be the you that you are if you chose differently. So it's not really useful to blame yourself
You have the opportunity to do right for yourself now, when you have more life experience
Well ye, but i still wish i could go back in time and fix so many “events”
In life we focus so much on what we were, when we should be focusing on what we could and should be
I mean, that's called therapy
or if someone has invented a time machine
Tbh, getting medicated helped me order through my memories and cope with my past mistakes much easier
Moral of the story if a problem arises, work immediately to fix it
Honestly medication sounds magical from adhd medication users, especially who were not medicated for a long time
It's magical in comparison, but in reality it just makes you more like a normal person
Sheesh
💯
But being normal is cool
I will need to feel like that to know
Feel like I’m always tired even though I get 8 hours sleep at least every night, what should I do?
i didnt know whether to ask this here or #advice, but does anyone know a way to reduce tension/stress in the arm? i've recently come back to aim training after taking a couple months break, and i'm getting close to my previous scores, but i'm tensing way more than i remember. and it's causing me to shake a bit, and have moments where i stutter with my aim. should i try stretching regimens? or will i slowly just go back to tensing less as i get accustomed to everything again?
(if i should ask in #advice please let me know <3 )
i feel that too man, i have adhd too
but i want to ask, do u have trouble sleeping as well?
I had anger issues but fully changed my mental, Irl 2. something bad happened? shit happens, got shit on? hes more passionate.i feel a lot of anger issues is ffull mental
also if you vape or shit like that try and stop
guys I need advice. been just playing gridshot and noticed that targets were dying slower than usual though I was flicking with my hand as fast as usual. after completing the task I went on humanbenchmark to test my reaction time and it was 150ms avg. do you know what could cause this spike in ms? my usual avg is 170
forgot to mention that it's 3 in the morning for me so my RT should be worse than during the day and it usually is like that - it drops to 180-200ms
Exercise daily, eat healthier, have daily goals
Ur pc might be laggin
Can u show vod on #tech ?
If u have adhd is not the same as a regular person sadly. Feel free to research it
Although i agree mental helps ofc
U will slowly adapt, dont worry
Mobilizing before during and after is a good idea tho
ty
Hard to say what your problem is, but I'd recommend seeing a doctor about it. For me it was sleep apnea, which is completely because of genetics (I'm not that fat and don't consume a lot of alcohol often, I just have certain kind of airways)
it's still like this in the morning. looks like I've manage to improve my rt my 20ms somehow. im in disbelief tbh
so yesterday was my first day with a trainer at my HS and he tells me to do back squats, i do them and go all the way down like how i normally do (atg), and he tells me i’m doing them wrong and i’m going to hurt my knees by going all the way down and that i should only be going halfway down. is that not like horrible advice or am i trippin? if u only go halfway down aren’t u missing out on a lot of muscles being activated?
Going down all the way is more fatiguing to the tendons but in general training the tendons is very valuable. I recommend u start watching a bunch of kneesovertoesguy videos
i am not able to run a single aimlabs task without watching or listening to something
help
is running for an hour everyday good for exercise? Because I don't know if I should also be doing like bodyweight workouts or smthn. I don't want to go to the gym bcs its a whole process to buy a membership and I have social anxiety.
Tell urself to change the habit by forcing to open aimlabs without anything else
That will make u stronger
Honestly an hour of running sounds bad to me, u would improve a lot more if u do sprint training for intervals of time + bodyweight workouts(a lot of good ones on youtube, pullup bar and some plates can go a loong way, for home workouts)
anyone have here crohns disease and how is going with consistency and mental health?
If i wanted to do all of that I wouldnt have any time to play val and aim train tho :/
Thats an hour aswell tho
Oh, so should i do them on different days? Because im not sure if sprint intervals would train my endurance as much as running
What are u training for
Like mental + improvement in val performance
Ohh.. then i have just the thing for u
Spinal Engine Blog Post: https://www.moversodyssey.com/post/joy-efficient-motion-and-the-spinal-engine
Sprinting has incredible effects on the human body, as can clearly be seen with a single look at any Olympic sprinter. While long distance runner tend to be thin and toned, sprinters are usually rather muscular and ripped. This is due not just...
- Make something other than val ur main goal and val secondary goal
Having stress related to the game can be negative on ur performance
Ye thats why ure having problems ngl
I was the same
And i hear it from a lot more
Damn, were you also depressed
Idk if depressed is the right word but it wasnt good lol
Cuz i think my depression is like my biggest problem
Well were u suicidal/hopeless?
I tried
Ive been trying to quit for years
But everytime i do i am bored out of my mind
Longest ive gone is like 2 weeks
But i just laid in bed instead
:/
Ever tried singleplayer games at least? Those can suck you in for weeks easily
I bought elden ring
Played it for around 100 hours
We are creatures of habit, by creating a new habit and sticking to it we can change
Do u have adhd?
What should I do if I cant react to things quickly?
is there anything that I can do to strengthen my muscle or motor control?
cant find anything on the internet worth reading
U mean CNS output?
Whats ur goal
to improve motor skills and muscle control
because ive struggled with it for so long
Examples pls
like really shaky hands
While doing what
in general
and also I always struggled with working with my hands
like catching stuff
Any workout past experience? Btw im a master at catching stuff i think lol, gaming for years will do that (hand eye coordination)
I barely look and i catch things thrown at me
used to go to a gym and bench 225 lbs but then I stopped
Seems like working on hand eye coordination + working out in general and grip in particular will have benefits for u
Nice, continue 👍
Did the situation with the hands improve and then diminish or always exact same?
Trying is the only way now
i was in like a semi depression
That would cause some physical problems as well
yeah and I think it's coming back
Kick it in the back, u’re on the grind now
What about adhd medication are u taking it
also rn i dont think I can go to the gym
even get better at aim training lmao?
Im going to first appointment after two months of wait
Idk but aimtraining is bottom of ur priorities rn
not much going in my life rn honestly
People with untreated adhd are very much not at their optimal state
In multiple ways
like what
Thoughts, anxiety, cant control emotions, cant concentrate when u need, delay priorities
And many more
way too fucking relatable
i seriously wish I knew that i had it earlier, years of anger issues through out my school years and my inability to focus really screwed me over
the smallest thing would send me explosive
Yep, it sucks and i was and am like that aswell
Im way too old for in realizing and acting on it
Dont be like me lol
well I kinda am like that
im going to see my psychiatrist tommarrow
another thing that I just hate about it, is relating to aim training, it's like whenever I try to follow advice idk whether or not I am or completely screwing it over
and my brain is just like "don't bother about score" but for some reason still cares about score
it's like I'm way too attached
Ye i get it, it be like that sometimes
thoughts be crazy
Putting it down as a priority will gelp
Help
Get new goals / journeys
Working out can be one of them
If u fail at ur one main goal its a lot harder on ur self image than one goal out of 3
@wheat tundra
you wont be able to convince yourself otherwise with logic unless you find the root cause
it also doesn't help that since my friends found out I started aim training, they mock me for it because im not playing the actual game to get better, and it's kinda putting down
"for some reason" is something you should take time looking into
i just am too attached to things
what does that mean
just attached to things, like i can't break it
I bet its related to adhd as well
probably
sure but you have to spend time with those issues
try to understand where they come from (im sure youve tried to do so before)
yeah but some of the things are out of my control
your judgment system is not
which is probably tied to this specific issue
of attachment to scores (e.g. external achievements(?) extending this concept to other things)
its going to be very difficult to get down to the bottom of this, but i suggest you spend some more time
with introspection
When u say external achievements it immediately raises the adhd and dopamine relationship
probably something you could also discuss with your psychologist/therapist if you have one or if youre planning on seeing one
the most common root cause ive noticed from talking to people with this attachment to external achievements is self deprecation (undervaluing yourself, self hating and then trying to find value in these places)
might not be the reason in this case, or it very well might be
Self deprecation is also common in untreated adhd people
yeah I think it might be self depreciation
This thing sucks
the good thing about this is that it can be fixed
the bad thing is that it takes time
a lot of time
and effort
the way id go about it is to reevaluate your basis of judgment
trying to rationalize it
"is it fair that im basing my value off of this, is it fair that im judging myself for this"
again, introspection is useful in this case
just spending time with yourself
i think it mainly stems from probably how i was pushed when i was in school
elaborate if thats cool with you
grades and stuff
ah
yeah
youre pretty much forced to base yourself off of useless external achievements
thats just how the world works
you can however reevaluate the judgment values
almost anything that has to deal with external achievements is not worth tying yourself onto
your rational self knows that scores dont matter in any way, but youre still worried about this
something to look into
a good place to start is to try to internalize that you need to have compassion for yourself
if you dont
that's REALLY hard lol I dont think there is anything to have compassion with about me
and how to you come to that conclusion
whats the judgment principles
dont have to tell me, just think about it
on the school example, like a lot of kids nowadays have internalized that like in order to be smart and whatnot, that they need to do well in school
so when they attach themselves and their self value on something external like that (a grade), self esteem just gets obliterated
not only school lol, parents and friends
i think i put myself into a really deep hole
and have been regretting things a lot
past year and a half has really shit on my mental health
and youve decided that such a person does not deserve any compassion
because youve decided to judge yourself based off of useless standards that are mostly influenced by the external world
now this isnt your fault
as ive said, the worlds kinda built this way
and basing your self worth off of external standards is the easiest way to gain self esteem in the short term
because your judgment processes have decided to judge your principles and your identity
on outcomes
you can get a good score on the test
your brain will most likely interpret that as "im smart" or an analogous affirmation
while we both know that thats just not true
the outcome of that test says nothing about your identity
you can be smart or stupid or dumb or right or wrong and still get a perfect score
so you can start seeing how unreliable external standards are
i got a good job. smartest person ever? maybe its because my dad goes to the pub with the ceo every other weekend? maybe both? maybe neither?
so then what should I try to do
as im not a professional, you shouldnt take this too seriously, but id do a few things
- spend time alone, with yourself and your thoughts
already do that
introspection, talking to yourself helps a lot with these things
great
- reevaluate your standards for self worth
try to point out irrational parts of it
try to see which parts are based off of external values and outcomes and goals
and throw those out
(again, outcomes do not determine your identity. you can be rich and financially illiterate, you can be a harvard phys phd graduate and stupid, etc. they arent reliable)
- try to instill some compassion and understanding
- maybe try to talk to a professional
now obviously these arent like THE "fix"
i dont know you, frankly
and i also know that its just stupidly hard to internalize these concepts
im glad, і try to remain as anonymous as possible
but i suggest you still keep going in this direction
of understanding yourself
id suggest you read up on literature regarding how to introspect and self reflect
and i know that you know these things subconsciously
but the second part is the most important
figure out what your standards are exactly
ik them but I feel they are high
I have standards but like I feel they are fairly high like I have a high level of expectation
yeah but the more important thing is what theyre based on
im sure youve heard about the einstein quote
if you judge a fish by its ability to fly, its going to think that its dumb as shit
it doesnt matter how big the fish's standards are of being able to fly
the fact that the standard exists is a problem
you should also consider distancing yourself from people who try to judge you on these irrational values (even though this is stupidly hard to do, considering the fact that you might live with them xd)
like you saying that your friends mock you because you play aim trainers more than games
if you judge a bhuddist monk's value off of their career in computer science or their kovaak scores, you can conclude that theyre worthless
but what if these standards arent rational
makes sense
youre going to have a hard time trying to convince your subconscious
but it can be done
getting help is always a good option
yeah
change takes a shitload of time
you WILL make more mistakes
you WILL fuck up
relatable, took me 7 months to get plat
no, it's just that I learn slow
no problem with that
Hey does anybody here experianced trap pain during aim training or just playing fps games like my right trap hurts like hell after pc idk why and its not about sens ive tried low sens high sens arm aiming wrist aiming finger aiming still nothing changes
Ive been reading over the Health guide (Note: I am on my phone and its diffocult to read) but what are the benefits in gaming of a good lifestyle vs a bad one
according to voltaic analogy its like have a pc with rly good specs vs a pc with shitty specs. so obviously you want the pc with rly good specs (good health) bcs that removes controllable performance issues such as overheating, or hardware incompatibilities, etc, which IRL would be equivalent to good mental health, good mindset, good endurance, flexibility, strength, etc. Oh and ofc most importantly it improves your confidence similar to how you would probably feel more confident playing on a good pc vs a potato
Mobilizing before during and after gaming with 1hp routines from youtube
Strengthening your body
Not forgetting to eat and drink
Taking breaks every 30 min or so
ty
will collagen supplements actually help with tendon recovery process? (alongside proper rest and stretching ofc)
What happened?
no suplementing collagen is complelty pointless
its beacuse of how our stomach digests proteins
collagen is protein
The proteins in the stomach break down into individual amino acids, which the body then uses to build the proteins it needs.
and if your organism decides "hey i need collagen", If only it has enough proper amino acids, itll built its own collagen 🙂
tldr; if you feel like you need collagen, maybe pay attention if you eat at least like 1,3g protein/kg of your body weight
this should be plenty
is sticking to the same sleep and wake up date would make me aim better ?
itll make ur focus better
for some reason im waking up in the middle of the night, not sleeping then going to sleep @ like 3(i aim train right before bed)
When i meditate for 5 min and i focus on a point in my room, my eyes get blurry / the blacks get gray and it feels weard. Is that normal? I meditate since 2 days
when i do my aim training playlist my eyes start hurting. i feel like it might be since im so focused on the blue spheres that i forget to blink. is that the issue or could it be something else?
get eye drops. see if they help
dry air, improper background lightning
Had some tension in my wrist/arm. Fixed it by lowering my table half an inch.
thanks
this area is always super tense when i’m playing could this be due to my grip or is it because of my lack of like hand exercises
seems like i'm addicted to aim training and IT IS a problem
i'm getting too much frustration pushing my own limits
want to be successful in kovaaks stuff but i'm almost in depression cuz i can't push above, like yesterday i just punched my monitor
idk what to do
give up on the top player dream and start playing for fun / competing against friends / actually training for a real game
i think top aimers became top aimers by doing the things i just listed, not by wanting to be a top aimer
basically what @pale vine
take a step back and reevaulate your goals and how realistic you think it is to achieve
im sure you'll be able to achieve being a top aimer
but to get there, sometimes a re-evaluation and acting on your goals through a different approach is the best way
re-evaluating your goals isn't giving up being a top player, but it's just you being realistic on what you're able to achieve in the short term
that way you won't be so hard on yourself for not pushing PB's everyday or in a short period of time and you're able to still enjoy aim training
Do I've been to another doctor this week for my back
He finds the trigger points and asks if these are the areas that hurt
I say yes then says there is nothing he an do
Since I don't have a family doctor walkin clinc doctors are really unempathethic
He mentioned trigger point injections and refused to discuss I with m
He didn't even name the substance
Back pain can be fixed with exercises( at least many times ive seen it fixed that way, surely some cant). Watch dr. Aaron horshig on “SquatUniversity” youtube channel
I've been following the exercises you linked onto of my physio ones
Yeah it's been a few weeks
I forgot which ones i linked tbh
I feel it's getting worse
Which exercises did i give u?
Let me find it
This one
Upper
Oh
Between the shoulder blade and spine
Anything else that u feel can cause overuse in the back?
Work mostly
Maybe u feel some area in ur body thats unusually tighter than others?
But that's just a mouse and keyboard
Dont underestimate mouse and keyboard
Yeah but I got good ergonomics
I dont use my arm for my ouse at work
Then how do u use it
Hmm, ur back might be stabilizing constantly tho
Higher sens mouse at work
Do u take frequent breaks and loosen up
I do
I'm constant pain so I'm always taking breaks
Honestly I'm worried of getting fired cuz of it
Watch these two
Please
If your upper back is painful/achy from lifting, the first step is to screen your thoracic spine mobility. Today you'll learn how and two ways to approach any issues you may find!

This looks like exactly what I'm dealing with
Down to the trigger point
I am not what they're doing lol
Who, what
I heard his instructions but like I need someone to help me do it correctly
Exblain 🤓☝️
Oh
Elevated rotations
Is that the second or first vid
First
I do the floor one with the ball
But at the wall cuz I am not that muscle dense
He might explain more in the second vid as the first one is a short
He usually explains in detail
If not i will try to watch and explain
2nd section of this video
The last exercise he does, I already do for physiotherapy
I didnt listen just looked at the rod, pretty sure u can just use a broomstick when at home, or a band, holding it tightened behind ur back in the same position
I think I need to release the trigger point before doing the exercises
Releasing them a lot I've noticed irritates the muscle
? Wdym
Like for instance
I just work up
I can feel the trigger point stinging me
I need to roll over it to not get a cramp
What exactly is work up
If aaron says u can do the exercises immediately i believe him, + what he does can be called release as well
Mobility can release muscles
I've tried many exercises and only the ball did anything for the pain
Did u try his exercises tho
Rn I'm in too much pain to work out tbh
That's why I went to the doctors
I might have to wait a few days
But its not really working out, u say u do ur physio anyway no?
My physio is weighted
I can't do it tbh
Physiotherapists stopped with weightless exercises with me a while back
Does the exercises he said to do hurt?
Try them now
I dont know what causes u “too much pain” too, but did he say to use weights in the vid?
Oh he didn't, just resistive bands and a rod
I was referring to my routine
The one my physiotherapist prescribed
Oh i thought u suddenly dont wanna do it lol
Okay then if u stopped the physio from too much pain, these ones seem better for u right now
alright, finally might be going back to the gym soon
had a very interesting talk with my therapist, and it helped my mindset just a little
body and mind are connected
How does one go about picking a chair?
I'm ideally looking at something like a herman miller so I don't have to worry about quality/buying another one any time soon but I'm not really sure what to look for when looking at different models
bruh,im not fucking kidding i got forearm pain and tightness on my keyboard hand two times already in the span of two month, which is once a month i don't know wtf is causing it all ik is that it feels like shit lol.
You need to do stretches
why don’t i get sore anymore from gym
genuinely have no idea where to start in terms of fitness, along with getting consistent with aim training, i need and want to do the same thing with exercise, but i just genuinely feel insanely confused
can anyone share anything for a beginner:)
As u get more experience its not the same as a beginner, maybe unless u use a new exercise for failure or u’re just not going hard enough for ur new level, idk much about u
Start doing 10 minute walks everyday. Then start a full body routine, 3 times a week, can be a short one in the beginning, a lot of good examples and guides for beginners on youtube
Whats ur goal? Strength, hypertrophy, running stamina, running explosiveness etc
im trying to do the fist stretch but when i curl my fist inwards it forces my fingers to uncurl
So I get super bad brain fog where everything moves slow my brain and aim just stop working on valorant. When I hop over to any other shooter I instantly get drastically better aim and brain clears up. For reference my hs on Valorant used to average around 30 now its sitting around 15 if I can even manage to hit anyone as my kd dropped from a 1.5 to a .5.
When I get on CS i drop 40 and have a 80% hs rating most of the games
Maybe u are bored from val or stressed unusually while playin it
Is there a way to get around this or is it just something that may go away with time?
First tell me which of the two applies to u, if any
Fine for now i think, with time ur muscles will be looser and u will be able to keep it curled
Potentially both?
Then take a break from it for sure
Until u feel like u want to play it
I have been on a break for a few months and came back wanting to play but maybe I put too much pressure on myself the first few games and got bored again already?
I see, but I am not feeling a stretch nor muscle tension when i am pushing, does that mean I'm impinging a nerve or something?
also supinating my wrist allows me to push further without opening my hand
Are u feeling nervous in comp?
Nope I just feel the fog no matter what gamemode
For the record, u do straighten ur arm fully right
U said its only val so its not nutrition or sleep, probably mental
Do u have a clear goal on val or no, do u have on cs or no
Maybe cs is more interesting to u
Neither. I used to want to push diamond but once I hit didnt really care anymore
I did just start playing Cs for the first time recently so
I could just be bored of Val like you said
yes i do
Thank you 🙏
Then i think its fine
Try to gently push the stretch to its full range
If u did, thats good, even if u dont feel it much
Whats the goal here again tho?
increased ROM in general of wrist and hand and fingers
Okay, make sure to do sideways wrist movements etc
Do u feel like u have limited rom
yup im doing the entire stretching guide posted in the resources
Oh okay
no, i just want to improve it
to improve aim ceiling
Hmm.. do u train arm movements tho(not stretch)
Arm has a lot bigger range of motion
not aiming specific, i do powerlifting so i have developed chest/tricep/bicep/shoulders
but not forearm/wrist/palm muscles
So u dont aim with ur arm aswell?
i do
Oh okay
Oh thats definitely using arm all right
yep 3k hours in csgo just started aim training lol
Nice
Just remember to not overevaluate the stretching(idk if u do or not)
Just keep it simple and mobilize a bit before pc usage and after it
Running stamina, mainly trying to lose weight
Do u walk regularly?
Are u in a caloric deficit
mainly when walking my dog, takes around 20 ish minutes
and no
Calorie deficit is the goal when losing weight, if u are running for example 2k everyday but not in a deficit u wont lose weight
When eating the same and adding running that wasnt before
It burns calories but maybe not in a deficit still
mmm
alright
So the solution to effective wright loss
Is cardio + eating a bit less than usual
Or eating healthier food that makes u full quicker
Thus eating less
And healthier
was gonna ask about that
what foods would probably be best for a calorie deficit?
obviously any vegetables or fruit, but wondering if there are any specifics that stand out
Theres a reddit forum with a lot of information for people who want to lose wright
I think its called r/LoseIt
Also a lot of youtube vids about it i imagine
oh alri
good to know
imma def be taking my time to do research about it, been thinking about this for a while but have been kinda lost
thanks for the guidance tho, appreciate it
Glhf
is there any excercise to strengthen grip strength or wrist something like that
i just want to see if it will help me aim better or help me be less shaky
Dead hangs, picking up heaviest things u can find and holding for time, wrist curls, finger crush, etc
will it actually benefit my shakiness or aim?
or am I expecting too much
Idk, could be, the brain health increase will help for sure tho
From generally working out
(Helps anything, physical or mental)
im trying to do some cardio as well
Ye thats good 👍
I have the problem of tilting my head and tensioning my neck and it's something that I've noticed only happens after I began aim training again, as prior I had it I stopped aim training for around a month came bback and it developed again.
What are the signs to know if I'm depressed
I recommend looking up Dr. K on youtube
talk to someone, like a nurse
