whats a good training routine for tracking?
Yep. You can play it once again through a mod. Look up IW8 Mod
I'm still not entirely sure what to do with my sens tbh. I usually play between 30-50cm mostly around 35 but I wanna get better at tracking scenarios and I'm not sure if I should be practicing at lower senses up to like maybe 75+ cm or maybe even higher senses does anyone have advice? anythings appreciated
Tracking at 75 would be literal hell. I find I can do 95% of my tracking at 45cm/360
ok gotcha I just find it hard to be as smooth as I want to be under like 60 atm
just got into aim training nd ive been doing viscose benchmarks s2 medium once everyday should i keep doing it or should i do it like twice a week or three times and do other playlists
what should i do to improve static?
Spend more time with it
read the third pinned messagbe
thiss is a bad approach
Looking to get an artisan mousepad but I am not sure which one is for me I am more of a controller player with 800 DPI but I also favor speed kinda like a good balance
viscose has a really good video about it i recommend you watch it
pingu also has a good mousepad video watch either or both to figure outwhich one you want
Ok thank you so much
anytime
i read it but when i did a benchmark all of it is like on the same rank except like 3 routines which r way higher but other than that i dont really know what other playlists i should use instead of the benchmark ive been doing
just play whatever you like most
then
ive got a friend who just got into aim training, he wants to improve aim for valorant, any tips for him, what should he grind
the anima micro v2 benchmark
I seem to get my pb when im usually distracted with my thoughts and go on autopilot
Is this normal?
Although prior to autopiloting i usually tend to play the scenario multiple times while focusing
and then somehow suddenly i start thinking about something else but my aim is always better than when i was trying to focus earnestly
dude wtf why are we in the same wavelength of thought LOL https://medal.tv/games/kovaak/clips/mO2yrjeWbQv3ePrZl?invite=cr-MSxpZm8sNTc4ODcwMDEy
this was the best 20 seconds of aiming i have ever done and I realized it and sold immediately ðŸ˜
I was gonna ask if anyone had any advice for keeping yourself out of your head like I did here and keeping the pace up
Same mate
As soon as i realize im on a good streak
It gets to my mind and i start panicking
Luckly this run i realized i was doing good at like 58 seconds into the run
so i got a good score
what might feel like autopilot is probably the zone state, which is where you perform the best
Focus on other aspects like pathing or reading, aiming should be subconscious
bro i know when you get the autopilot at the end and blast into a pb it feels amazing ðŸ˜
right, I have trouble with pacing myself after a miss and have a chronic double click habit that ruins most of my runs, but when I miss it always fucks my pathing because I react to it and move my eye focus back to that old target instead of staying on course.
Its mostly mental here though I would think? Like try to somehow ignore a miss in terms of my eye focus and keep the pathing consistent?
If you missed just move on to the next one and path it back later, this would safe more time and pacing
And if you missed more than 2-3 shots in a row take it slow and mentally reset
My pbs are usually 50% autopilot 50% focus
However if I’m on 90% autopilot 10% focus, it’s more difficult for me to pb
It usually happens if I retry spam a scenario too much
This happens to me too
how can i have those healthbar
hey guys any tip to stop being inconsistent aim like once am performing like its my "prime" aim and next day i feel like i cant shoot a shi
guys im 25 days in Viscose benchmarks and right before Seal Complete but since a few days i dont hit any new PBs. advice?
what type of aim training should i do for valorant, i only do three static scenarios on kovaaks
wdym?
keep playing
Try other benchmarks, and record ur scenarios to fix mistakes
I think he means the bots healthbar
you just go to hud
and click show health bars
@main basalt
ah i forgot
Guys i need to be more gooder at Air Spectral easy, any advice?
How many hours of playtime did it take yall to reach diamond in every scenario?
you can check my messages i sent a graph a couple a months ago
How long should I play consecutively and how long should my break be to get the most out of my practice?
any chance you could send it again? you have a bilion messages sent
i would have to go trough them i cant be bothered
also my progress is and will be different to yours it shouldnt matter to you
when practicing scenarios with micro corrections, how hard do you typically grip the mouse and what kind of sensitivity is better to practice on
440 hours💀
440h of benchmarks?
yeahðŸ˜
shiesh i have a long way to go
trust me it probably won't take that long for you im just a chud
it is completely different per person
i know people who did it in less than 50
and people who are over a thousand deep and still haven't gotten there
And everyone has a different starting point depending on their previous aim experience
When I did the benches for the first time i had Plat clicking and Switching and Silver Tracking
how do i stop freezing up in pasu scenarios, its almost like i miss and then i keep clicking but not adjusting, my brain just freezes
well this is an issue with discipline, I dont think there is a magical solution for this, I'd recommend going into free practice on a scen for like 3 mins and focus on discipline
Or play a rep and restart every time this occurs until you finish a "clean" attempt (scuffed bardoz method ig)
ok ty
I am grinding Air Pure Intermediate which is a reactive reading scenario. The bot movement doesn't feel obvious. Is this something that comes with hours of pattern recognition?
this is exactly me rn
jade palace air on evxl
read the linked google sheet
i had no experience in FPS games which I assume has to do with the bad ranking that I started with
Platinum is not a bad ranking
sorry I can't find the link on evxl, isn't jade palace air a benchmark? I am grinding for the viscose benchmark
it has technique explanations for the category in the introduction tab
It is a benchmark but just like viscose its made for practice
thanks
ah i see, thank you all!
am i gonna have to start from zero again if my tracking out score my clicking?
yo i have a question about static Tension how do u release tension During the flick and also whenever i think of adding Tension while flicking its usually too much and tires me out easily and can i fix this bad habit?
The sound of zone state does feel like the thing
but i was literally thinking about how matty and viscose would be coaching when signing up to the voltaic rampup and stuff XD
My mind was completely off
you realease tensino at the end of the flick, flicking doesn't work like tracking you can't change during the flick, once you lauch you flick you focus on the landing and micro/confirmation
how do I get better at static clicking I just feel like Im not reallly improving anymore after being consistent for 2 weels
PLEASE help me reach diamond what should I fix
I also noticed I was being shaky so I tried to be more smoother here https://youtu.be/q5gefN2z-KA
your not smooth, and you don't hook on the target, you need to never let your crosshair go off the target
noted ty but what do you mean by hook on the target?
2sec
gonna record you smthg
well i can't record anything right now but when you hoow a fish, in theory he never go of the hook, well you do the same with you crosshair and the target
ohh I see ty
Can someone explain sensitivity to me? i'm novice in kovaakz, what sensitivity/dpi you use?
For reactive tracking use 25-35cm/360.
For tracking overall 30-45cm/360.
For static clicking use 60+cm/360
For target switching use 40-60cm/360.
Im using in everything 3200dpi, and my usually sens is 0.225
oh, it's so high.
I was used with 64cm/800 dpi
I was told it was very low.
now i'm use 45cm
But if u feel comfortable, use that u have already.
Everything depends on u
sens depend on how you play to, i'm playing some switching and tracking stuff at 80cm, it's depend on many thing but what perfect said is pretty much what you should play
Thank you very much, I really don't have much of an idea if my sensitivity was high or low for the tasks.
I'll try to make it faster.
Is it reasonable to expect improved benchmarks scores week on week?
I'm plat in Valorant, but in Kovaakz I'm iron
at the start yes but not as you get better, and even then at the start ymmv
ymmv?
Do you usually play faster-paced shooters like Overwatch/Call of Duty or games with more static aiming like CS:GO/Valorant?
I play cs. Have 3200 elo in faceit. My static sucks, i need to play more static. I have gm in target switching but have diamon in static lmao
your mileage may vary
But u know, using high sens is for like, decrease shakeness. Using low sens is for speed and stop control. So train whatever u want sens. Everything will improve u.
isnt it the other way round?
Wth did u say?))
guys
should i isolate my hands while dodgin and tracking?
sorry bro, "Do you recommend playing the 'fundamentals' game on Voltaic? Or are there better things to improve aim?"
read pinned messages, use google translate if necessary
Voltaic benchmark is helping good, but theres 100% better ways to improve aim. Depends on what u play. If cs, valorant, u should play, more statics and target switching. If u play like overwatch, or something like that, play more scenarios with tracking and target switching, i dont think that u need statics for overwatch
U can watch Mattyow, theres guides that u need. How to track, how to static, and TS. And even how to start if u novice
Also, i would say, train aim 50% in kovaaks, and then 50% ingame. So u can turn ur kovaaks skills in the game what u play
I understanding now, I play a bit of both worlds, Deadlock and Valorant.
thanks bro, Your words were very helpful.
Okay bro, good luck to become the greatest
Hi, try to get minimum 95% accuracy, i recommend 97-100% on static scenario.
Also try with metronom, and slowly increase +5 when u have 3-5 in a row with 97+% accuracy.
Thank you, gonna try
What’s your advice to translate kovaaks aim into cs? Do you play dm or something else, or is it just naturally getting better in cs after playing faceit ?
First 45 minutes, train statics im kovaaks, then next 45 minutes, train in cs, first, workshop maps, just to get feel the game, and then train in dm, move like u are in a real game, but theres different types what u want to train, if ur first bullet accuracy is bad, than play dm with onetaps, and bursts. If u have bad spray, train it in workshop and then practice in dm, and faceit.
Everything depends on what is ur weakness and in what u want to progress
thank you i appreciate it. I will try that
Good luck to become greatest
