@leaden tapir Yes, but its basically just the dome, teleporter, and landing pad atm. I also have a couple freighter pieces under bedrock level providing 10,000kPs of power so no need for EMGs.

The dome disappears basically as soon as youre outside of it, so you should be able to fly right through from outside and land, then itll materialize around you.

@long moss The AIRLCKCONNECTOR is the part providing power, the BRIDGECONNECTOR doesn't but if connected, has a large radius (35u to pass power, ConnectionDistance). The AIRLCKCONNECTOR only has a ConnectionDistance of 4.1. Snapping to power other objects is not required, the distance is.

@swift shuttle Ah, so when I snapped a cuboid to the Freighter Core w/ Airlock Connector, it wasn't that it wasn't providing power, the snap point was simply too far from it, good to know I can delete the unnecessary parts and just free place a cuboid closer to it, thankya!

Yes, distance is not quite working out too well on a freighter. It has already been adjusted once, but still not enough to reach everything. You likely remember the hydro tray issues onboard a freighter. You can still see the issue with lights put in corners of rooms for example. The curved corridor power origin is also not quite centred. You will also see an issue in the Command Rooms

If you're giving a ride to someone else who is on your same platform:

• In the case of GamePass -- regardless if PC or Xbox console -- you'll have to just give each other's gamertag and invite via Xbox.
• If on Steam or GOG or if cross-platform, you can use each other's NMS friend code.

Host vs Guest

The recommendation for giving rides, so ppl's "last save location" mechanic doesn't screw them over is that if you're offering a ride, you get the friend code of the other player, and you join them (as guest). This makes them the host of the session. Remind the host (player you're joining) that their Network Options must have Multiplayer Enabled, and "Can join my group" set to Anyone.

1. When you load, you'll be in the host's system. Head to a teleporter and teleport to NMSCord Hub.
2. Once you're in NMSCord Hub, ask the host (other player getting the ride) to head to the Space Anomaly. When they're about to take off again in their starship, they must select your system (the system you're in should be NMSCord Hub).
3. Have the host meet you at the Space Station so you can confirm they're in NMSCord Hub, where you also are.
4. Have them auto-save once they exit their starship.
5. You may leave the group any time, via Network Options.

Here's one workaround that may be worth trying. Try the following steps:

After you've made sure to visit NMSCord Hub's Space Station so you can teleport to it later...

1. Disable Multiplayer
2. Go to a system that has no bases at all (any system nearby or far away, warp or teleport to it).
3. Do a save there (it can be at the system's space station).
4. Quit to Title. Close your game app.
5. Re-open game, and load your last save (which should be in a system with no bases).
6. Teleport to NMSCord Hub space station.
7. Check the teleporter's Other Bases.
8. If blank, check Discoveries Page and let me know if Online Discoveries Services is showing Online or Offline.

Let us know what you see listed. How many pages, and bases total. Hopefully NMSCord Central (Singular Gleam) will be listed after these steps. If it is, try teleporting to it.

I deleted my old base to make a better one but the old base has been uploaded and it hasn't been deleted from the servers yet so this happened

yeah, try it, it can possibly sorta force the game to redownload whatever parts/collision are still missing - i.e. in this case, i would fall down instead of walking on that corridor
