Only thing I don’t like about distira is the jellyfish underwater. They zap you even in a base.

Could use bones or salvage too, but I can live without that.

Nah, that’s good! Just to make sure you’re not building on top of another base. Generally just try not to grief or lag people trying to build. Also, corvette editing in the station could lag the server, so I go a system over to edit corvette. Welcome aboard! (I can’t text in game as I’m on Xbox, sorry 😞)

No there’s this trick when you skydive out of your ship. If you jump out of your ship at a really great height, use your jetpack to dive then immediately after you build up enough speed, just face up again and you’ll fly, and the most awesome part you’ll notice is that your jetpack isn’t using its fuel during glide mode LOL

Today Mitey gonna be designing a new flight cruiser to accomdate more storage and whatnot. Some of you have been on the Scarab before.. so I want to include: Roof access, nearby hatchway, adequate seating and storage. What I want to know: any suggestions for the overall design would be most appreciated!

just so you are also aware.. your base will only ever render the first 3000 parts you put down. After that your base computer will tell you "cannot upload". mostly because people won't be able to SEE the other parts. You can continue building, but those things past 3000 may or may not render.

Oh yea I figured that out with Corsair cove, had to delete so much stuff so I could finish the build. It’s like 2999 parts 😆 the base computer and the crafting req screen will tell you for sure

I think having a ramp up to your roof could cool, jumping on it was fine, but sometimes esp when it was dark on a planet the roof flat part was hard to see.

Here’s how I was taught.. if you can’t “see” the part then take it out. use it for structure to get stuff in place then delete. Don’t leave it. The computer will render it 🙂

I discovered a beautiful paradise plant, almost no sentials, no storms, with beaches, Caribbean water, islands, plentiful flora and fauna. It's gorgeous. It's also OliveJuice #1197 on Xbox Live. My base has everything, including a full staff. I've really built up this planet and its economy. It now has all sorts of interesting buildings, etc, including a settlement that I manage. I play on Cloud, so getting screenshots will be a challenge, but I used to be a top builder/creator in Second Life, so I definitely know how to build and design houses, etc. I'm also in the process of building (now drafting) a replica of the ship from Red Dwarf as a corvette, and I'm hoping that my basemates will join me on fun adventures on it. I'm really trying to build a social community of sorts.

This is a highly unlikely system to find for a purple star. It sounds like we just want NMSCord with a waterworld. I am starting to think it’s not really worth it.

I was just hoping to find a system with a paradise planet and a water world. Those other restrictions make it extremely difficult.

I just don’t think it’s going to happen. Maybe it’s out there, but we won’t find it.
