yeah a repetitive issue we have had with having to go in and load bases otherwise they don't show up. Distira is so wonderfully populated.. we have a LOT of people.. but the network apparently limits to showing you only 13 bases.

when curious about base visibility to others, please read this pin

the number of bases returned by ODS (after clearing bases cached as described in that pin) varies but tends to max out around 18-20. so the best way to assure someone will see your base is to be in the game with them, either joining each other or being friends through your friend code and being in the same lobby -- which tends to feed the base data to the players you're with

Decorating interior is the more frustrating part of building, ngl. If you have a theme/function in mind, it will be easier.
What you can do is decorate the base bit by bit, along the way you might get new idea to add or change part of your base.
Do visit some of the bases for inspiration too, i can see you taking inspiration for my restaurant, looking good
