Well we started at 10:30 am Saturday 10/8/2022.
Mind you I ran a bit late... 8 minutes to be exact.
@pliant beacon @young summit were already in game and I think trying to see each other.
I couldn't join.. Kept getting a failed to join lobby error.
But I persisted.
Joined up but then could not see anyone still anomaly empty MP setting wide open.
@pliant beacon had to leave but we trudged on.
Not sure when exactly, but I was able to join @dreamy finch and then @wicked zenith joined.. a new traveler joined @rare sparrowninja. New to all of us. But we had fun.
Me on Gamepass, @wicked zenith maybe Xbox or pc not sure, they usually join on either. And @dreamy finch was on PC.

not for Switch unfortunately. the game launched for Switch as scheduled but with a pre-4.0 version that's especially made for Switch. there's an update that's not been released by Nintendo (probably because of their certification process)

that's what i heard. i'm not sure if they'll keep settlements off (which wouldn't surprise me because they definitely have a noticeable effect on performance on older gen consoles like Xbox)

soooo just as i mentioned earlier, i got to confirm that GamePass PC/Xbox being an update behind has no effect on Multiplayer or ODS. i'm currently connected to both ODS and MP no problem. and i'm seeing other players in the space anomaly. i assume all of these players are GamePass ofc. but clearly, connecting to these networks isn't really an issue even if you're a patch behind.
