I remember having a weird issue on portal 3, before the patch, but I found a work-around, but that was AFTER I had ot figure out the mods not working, and I posted a mini-tutorial in the modding channel for that.

how so? simply goto a teleporter, and teleport back to the station if you visited. if you needed glyphs for the system, all you needed to do was scroll down on the pinned posts or ask.

Many people did not drop in there, because of the aggressive sentinels, BUT someone was kind enough to put a box around the Sentinal Pillar, so head for that and shut them off

your equipped ship is the ship the expedition terminus sees on the other side, and would let you copy it

you can copy it over, with a button on the anomaly WHEN you get back

also, your multitool from the expedition, if you want too, though even if you don't want it, you can copy it, then recycle it for some parts and resources

when you are back in the main save, you can use the button on the expedition console, to copy your equipped ship, and multi tool back to you rmain save

I've got nms on pd5 and on pc, and linked my accounts on the nms website but cant cross save since the servers are full.

If I play an expedition on a new save on my pc, will I be able to claim the rewards on my ps5 since my account is linked or do I need to wait till there is more space on the servers?

Hey just had a questions with expeditions.

I've got nms on pd5 and on pc, and linked my accounts on the nms website but cant cross save since the servers are full.

If I play an expedition on a new save on my pc, will I be able to claim the rewards on my ps5 since my account is linked or do I need to wait till there is more space on the servers?

they've always reran the expeditions released in a year at the end of that same year again. in 2023, they added to that pattern, picking one of the older expeditions, remixing it with rewards from several other older expeditions, rereduxing exp3 (which had come out in 2021 originally). then in 2024 they did the same thing again, but this time with exp2.

• doing breach3 will get you to a system with one planet with gold on resource list, and that has 1 exotic fauna
• doing breach4 will get you to another system, with another planet with gold on resource list, and that also has 1 exotic fauna

and breach5 will take you to yet another system, with another planet with gold on resource list, with another exotic fauna species to scan.

You get the ship from the terminal on your main save (if it's your main ship in the expedition). You can also claim the ship from the QuickSilver vendor on your main save. I assume this is a ship you can't have two of though, so you'd need to scrap one if you wanted to do both.

go to an abandoned building and break the whispering eggs outside for some larva cores to smelt down, you should get atleast 1000 nanites per building
either that or go to a worm planet and kill some titan worms for flesh rope and vile spawn to smelt down (plus pick up some of the countless whispering eggs lying around)

idk if you've tried this yet: but what I did was select a different mission, delete all elixirs, select portal 3 mission again, reach the portal, then craft elixir of blood

also make sure it's the right elixir of blood haha

Does quicksilver only temporarily reveal the portal? I tried to do Breach 5, got overrun by sentinels, and I wasn't getting the blood prompt...

as an aside, man I don't know what to do about the quadroped robots. I feel like my guns do nothing to them, they do so much damage if they hit me, and they seem to just disappear and blink out to somewhere else whenever I try to hit them

Is Breach Five still broken for anyone else? I looked at the sticky and did what it said. Changed systems multiple times. Closed game and turned it back on. Came back. This time I did get a portal icon on the way back still, but it doesn't give me an option to offer blood

and I did double-check the icon on the blood I made to make sure it matched the Milestone's icon

Hmm, tried that. Deselected mission. Relogged. Reslected Mission. No blood in inventory. When I was at the Portal, my inventory flashed to prompt me to craft, and the crafting menu highlighted the proper blood for me (the one I'd tried multiple times already). But I don't get the blood option for the portal still. 😦

Anyone having issues with potions not registering when you drink them? Specifically quicksilver. I male it, (quest progresses) I drink it... quest goes back to make it again.

I've made it on the station, made and drank it in my ship, and on the azure planet. Reloaded, autosave and backed it up further to a restore point. It does the same thing. 😔 I'm on ps4. I'm now gonna try rebooting the console. Open to suggestions

You can't leave the freighter once you find it

Best advice is to just search for the heaters that are around and stand next to them for a few seconds

Then you have about 3 minutes before you need them again

It was definately less than 3 minutes. There was a stretch of 2 to 3 rooms that I could not find a heater. (first 3 rooms where i ran into hostile life forms).

When you say I cant leave the freighter, do you mean if i leave its lost? I ask for clarification because I did leave. It let me run out to the landing platform, board my ship and fly to the space station.

Open all your geodes, they usually have expensive metals inside.

You could also find a ship claim it and sell the salvage. You can buy the maps on any station at the cartographer.

Yea i looked it up. Its helios on the anomoly. Checked with him. No option for one. It says you need to be past a certain point in the main story so im probably no where near that. Im working on getting a chart to locate an abandoned ship or two to sell. I need 10mil now that i wasted the first freightor locator.

The charts are cheap they cost navigation data. If you walk around the upstairs of the station and find the cubes you can get some from there if you don't already have some.

Yes but watch out for freighter mission phase, was bugged for me with hovering ship, could not get in, couldn’t find a solution while was at it, and lost all progress, if it happens to you or anyone else, try and switch camera view to first person, apparently can get inside from right under the ship.

eggs cant be transferred back but in this case, since it's a phase reward it is unlocked account wide, claim it from qs shop in any of your other saves, once per save - your primary save counts as a different save

No portal 5 wont work? inventory is blinking. click the blinking location. items pop up. the blood that matches the symbol on the mssion is blinking. i craft it. i use the portal device. i get activate portal which just wants me to dial an address or i can view the planet address. WTF is with this expedition. Is the whole game this gd buggy? Been playing for 6 days and this is about the most frustrating buggy bs I have ever played!

Tips for finding them:

• 1) Try to locate Dissonance Resonators - some of them will be guarded by large quadrupeds.
• 2) Alternatively, you can start a fight by just looting a Gravitino Ball, and escalate wanted level to level 3, when large quadrupeds can spawn.

Tips for taking them out:

• 1) Install Paralysis Mortar+Primary weapon of choice(+3 S-class upgrades). Locate and approach a corrupted quadruped. If there's any floaters around kite them away first (mine something nearby so that they'll go investigate, leaving you alone with the quadruped). Shoot Paralysis Mortar at quadruped to stun it, re-applying stun as needed, while shooting primary weapon.
  Bonus: Unlock and install Voltaic Amplifier from Space Anomaly/Multi-tool research NPC for +21% damage vs stunned entities.
• 2) Use Minotaur+Minotaur Cannon.
• 3) From the air, especially if your current ship has hovering capabilities, for example using Rocket Launcher.
